The Jaguars had better not do an end of the season Lucy/Charlie Brown skit  Don't do this to me Jags, don't do this to your fan base...don't bring us this far just to have Lucy bad luck once again pull the ball from under us. Don't play with peoples hopes, dreams and aspirations like that. Don't bring people, the city, this far, just to make us the laughingstock yet again. |

I think I'm going to stop listening to this game, Jags just lost ball again, kick off return, touched a Jag player, chargers recovered at the 6 yard line.......pause...(waiting to see if they score, they'll settle for a field goal) This is a utter slaughter...  The Chargers are slaughtering the Jaguars on the football field... 27-0, Chargers lead. Oh the hate mail Trevor will probably get after this game...poor fella. |

Now that the Jags season has officially ended, now indeed it does feel like the end of the holiday season
As long as the Jags kept winning, it just still kind of felt like the holiday season to me, but now that they lost in a post season elimination game, now, and only now does the holiday season finally feel like it's over.

Trevor is a good guy, a decent man, one you'd want as a neighbor, but his problem on the football field is that he just seems to zone out during long stretches of the game He's a good guy, but for the life of me not sure why he just seems to zone out for long stretches of the game, and then wakes up towards the end to try to engineer a miraculous comeback. Sometimes it works, other times he's already dug his team into to deep of a hole to come back. If he'd quit zoning out during the game, he'd be right up there with Joe Montana.

This year, finally, the Jags are playing NFL level football...even if they lose tonight, they're playing good tough ball this year.
