I'm not phycic or anything...
But the next group or induvisual, whether hip-hop, rapper, or punk or rock, to re create this song in a modern 'vibe' or 'theme'...will, or would, probably do well...as everything is circular...and people, folks, are feeling this again...

To be honest
To be honest, most don't have what it takes to become a 'Star', 'Celebrity' or Entertainer, and have no idea what's involved in the process.
Many are talented beyond belief, but simply lack charisma to launch talent to next level.
Being shy, quiet and withdrawn are the opposite of being a celebrity or Star.
Most I encounter who happen to have a unique talent just aren't 'people persons'.
They don't like people, yet can play guitar or sing or rap or ect.
Also, you cannot be bias, and expect to grow much of a following, cause you never know whom may be attracted to your talent, song, beats ect.
Maybe half your fans are closet gays, yet one day you say something negative about gays...d'oh!
Or maybe half your fans are Jewish, yet in interview an anti Jewish statement comes out of your mouth...d'oh!
The ultimate aim of most entertainers is to make money, and it don't matter where that money comes from, and so to alienate oneself from people do to color or religion or orientation, can greatly effect profits.
I particularly feel sorry for many younger black males of talent who have been locked into this inner city thug rap box.
It's sad in a way, cause that image, those who live it, are very insecure about self on the inside, very wound up, very shallow, in that there's nothing beneath the surface.
Very stiff, emotionally stiff, can't laugh, can't be joyful, if laughter and joy was never put in, than it can never come out.
Laughter and joy have to be cultivated.
Entertainers have to be 'loose', very loose, and able to step outside their skin, if not they'll never be able to resignate with others.

Truth is, a lot of the suggestions on here would of worked maybe 40 years ago and back, but not now, not today.
Let me put it like this so you'll understand.
You can be a great athlete, one of the best but unless you register your talent to an accredited college, you won't have a funded platform in which to shine, in which then the NFL can evaluate you, document you, and one day draft you.
In sports, it's easy to see how that works.
And the same principle applies to 'talent' in that you can just be a 'talented person' without registering your talent somewhere, in other words you gotta pay your due's one way or the other in order to be elevated.
And that includes, joining a talent or 'actors union', if that's your field of talent.
In that many large studios cannot hire actors who are not registered into a actor union.
You cannot just walk off the street, audition, and expect to get hired over and above other actors of less talent who are members of the acting union.
Same applies in music, ext.
It's not like during Elvis Presely Days, or Johnny Cash days, where they just walked into studio located next to drug store, played a few songs and were signed to a deal....studios have become a lot larger, way more complex now days, and very hyper political like everything else.
Ye sure, can promote self through social media, but even that's over saturated now, in that the novelty of social media stars is about wore off, and even if famous on social media, doesn't mean there's income behind that fame.
I mean unless there's income behind your fame, than what's the point?
Bottom line, just like in sports, if you have talent, you have to go through proper channels to get notices and elevated...and that mainly means 'school'/College/University, where you'll be introduced to the right people, and begin to develop relationships that you never can outside the system.
But sadly college, school, University means you have to have $$$$, you have to be able to feed the beast....that's fine if younger, and qualify for all sorts of 'future debt'...but if older, that can be a challenge.
But if hungry enough, you'll find a way.
But when hunger starts to wane, you'll be like 'Oh well, maybe Home Depot is hiring'.

Also must learn the art of 'praising others', if you want to rise, people in entertainment love flattery, the more you flatter them, the more they'll be interested in what you have to say.

Being soxy and cute, just isn't enough to make it anymore
Just being soxy and cute, isn't enough to make it anymore, and more than likely just being soxy and cute will get you exploited by others who can't offer you nothing at all, but may pretend they can.
Is why so many 'soxy and cute' types end up in adult film (what a waste)
Also, the older you get, the more you'll realize the real power and influence or the people behind the camera, the producers, the talent scouts, and so forth.
The editing crew, computer graphics crew, and all the other technical fields that bring that 'talent to light'.
Sometimes making a name for yourself behind the scenes or camera just as important as being in front of camera, and usually careers behind the camera have much more longevity, cause it don't matter how you look.

Either way, the older you get the less you will care about any of it, is why so important to run with 'your youth' while it propels you, before you start noticing stuff about this world, about others, that's very ugly.
When young, or younger, ugly don't always register and that can be both good and bad.
As you age though, regardless of the above, you'll start getting distracted by every day life, as in bills, debt, relationships, and or even a family, if you start one.
And as you age your own health can become a distraction.
I mean what is fame?, it's others who 'think' you're more than them praising you through their wallet or purse.
Fame is like an illusion, where some ordinary people treated and elevated above other ordinary people....it's an illusion, but can be a prosperous illusion for some.
Me, I'd rather have wealth than fame. I can't imagine the pressures of fame on a bad day.
Or fame once you've fallen from grace...Oh how I bet Bill Cosby wishes he were not famous now, or many others who have fallen out of grace with the public and dirty laundry aired.

And I remember those odd and creepy face jobs many celebrities were getting about a decade ago, or during the 90's, I think, where their before and after pics would be plastered on tabloids and grocery stores, for all the world to see their transformation into freakness.
I found that so sad, how Plastic surgeon doctors would ruin their faces, and tell them how 'pretty' they looked, when in reality they looked like freaks.
Now where are they today?
Hell, I even feel sorry for Bruce Jenner, the man that got that sox change, now where is he today now that older, and the novelty of what he did has wore off?
If he were going to get sox change, should of done when younger, I mean I can't imagine how they wake up in the morning looking and feeling.
I mean it's hard enough for women to remain 'fem' looking as they age, let alone a man pretending to be a woman...
To me, better to age as a male cross dresser, than to age as a hybrid.
But to each their own, at least Bruce Jenner has can be shielded behind his wealth, but if average and had to show up every day to mundane job, I"m sure they would of cracked by now.

Either way, life can just be so sad at times, and 'time' fly's by way to quick as you start getting older, time just doesn't wait for 'you', or anyone, it just moves on, next thing you know you're old and sick, and in a elderly center wondering if Corona going to be your demise.
Then when 75, and laying in death bed, Corona right around the corner, it won't matter that some guy smacked your butt in the hall when you were 19, it won't matter, and will seem petty, that you didn't want to sit next to person of color on bus.
It won't matter that your son was 'gay', or daughter lesbian, what you'd do to have them by your side now, as Corona is creeping up the hallway towards your room.
Petty crap just stops mattering when hours, minutes, away from never being alive, ever again.
Well realize that now, while it matters.

The easiest way to be a model who's seen
The easiest way to be a model who gets seen is as follows.
1. Order a clothing item from a online retailer, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon ect
2. Create a video or picture review of yourself wearing clothing or garment that you ordered.
3. Post video in review section of product
And now 1000's maybe even 10's of 1000's of people will see you modeling in the clothing you purchased while giving your review.
And if you get enough 'hits' or views or rating stars, than large retailer will take note, and possibly start paying you to model for and review their products.
With this type of modeling body type and or age or gender does not matter, in fact retailers prefer as wide a range of body types for clothing to be seen in, cause that better reflects the buying public, rather than your typical runway thin as a pipe type of female model.
So next time you buy a dress, or shorts, or even shoes, model in it, and send the review into Amazon or Walmart, and be seen by 10's of 1000's of viewers.

I just made my first model commercial, it was kind of fun, sent it to Amazon for a T-shirt brand. They have tight standards, of course, in that video has to be totally clean and appropriate for millions of viewers around the world, I'm talking MR Rogers type clean.
There's like a 2 day wait period where they review it. If approved, I can't wait to make more, and be the 'body model' I've always wanted to be.

If want to get anywhere as a script or show writer, you need to be a member of the 'Writers Guild' If not a member of the famed 'Writers Guild' union, good luck getting a paid writing gig anywhere. I wish I had known this years ago. People in my life are dorky, and never ever share with me important information. All the years I could of saved, had I known the above a decade ago or more. Oh well, now, once the strike is over, I will see about getting a writing agent. Can go here for a list of agents approved by the writers guild. apps.wga.org/agency/agencylist.aspx
