It's sad going out anymore, to like financial institutions, Gov agencies, Drivers license place, postal service, ect, any where the common gather, it's amazing how check to check most are living now, of all colors, stripes and purswations.
And the elderly as well, you mainly see older females inside banks, in the line, ect, it's like every ones begging for crumbs, even those who followed the rules and worked all their lives, now that older, they're begging for crumbs.
I don't think there was no such thing as 'poverty' until the whole money market scheme was implimented world wide.
I think in the past, villages and tribes simply took care of aging people, family, without ever thinking of placing a dollar amount on it.
The U.S. Government, also, now is funding immigrants, while it's own citizens fall through the cracks, can't wait to see how this place out on election trail.

When you find what you really love to do, and are doing it, but don't get paid to do it, that's when a, or 'your' low paying job can really feel like slavery.
To me, any time one works without being able to build wealth off of one income, than it's slavery, cause the only other alternative is to become homeless, which in fact more and more people are doing.
But if want to maintain minimum comfort, you have to work, whether you have a passion for it or not, you have to do it simply for check.
This whole idea of 'work ethic'...what a sham.
It's what slave masters told their slaves, I'm sure, just to keep them in line and make them feel it was their duty as a slave, to show up everyday while spending whole life in the fiscal gutter.

Totally by mistake, freak accident to vehicle, and a bit purpessful, I've just cut down on monthly expenses by around 500 dollars.
1. Finally ended wasting my money at storage, about 2 payment cycles..so that's $100 saved a month.
2. Ended airing shows on this one radio platform, was paying station around 150 a month to do that..
250 in savings so far..
3. Recently a tree fell on my vehicle, turns out vehicle is totaled...I was making 290 a month payments.
Let's see 250 + 290 = $540....and now don't have to pay insurance on financed are anymore, so add another, say, 100 a month in savings...so in less than 2 months I've shaved around 640 dollars a month from my expenses.
Sure I didn't want to lose newer or 5 year old vehicle, still owed around 6 gran on it, but still...no more car payment...even though won't get back what it was worth, so maybe I'll get scooter instead or used motorcycle, who knows...have second vehicle, but it's a gas gusler.
All I'm saying is through smart decisions and bad misfortune, in the end I'm saving a gob on monthly expenses, but at the end of the day, I'm still, and always seem to be months away from nothing, like most.
Oh well..

Have mixed feelings about going back to work soon, I really do, I know in long run, economically it's better, but still, a part of me will miss this long down time.
But my down time had zero to do with Corona, in that left last job, resigned, for other reasons, right before Corona virus craze took over the world.
And of all the trillions and billions of dollars being tossed around to corporations and companies and people, I've gotten a big fat ZERO or any of it, nothing, nada, not even a check.
Funny how that always works.
Generational wealth is being created right now, for and by some, but for the rest of us, it's just another day in the neiborhood.

If things work out, my new work schedule will be 3 on, 4 off, a dream schedule, one I've literally dreamed about having for years, and the best thing is pay check won't suffer at all, cause simply will be working longer days when on duty.
But with 4 days to recover, who's complaining.
With this new schedule, I can earn average income, and still have a side life to purse what I love, and that is writing, blogging, broadcasting, podcasting and more.
Time is more valuable than money to me now, time is like diamonds, or pearls to me now.
I'd rather be alive and broke, and still have time on me hand, than to be rich and dead with no time.

I absolutely love being off 4 days in a row, it's like getting to go on vacation every week.
It allows you to get your life back, to find yourself again, to even waste time leisurely and not care.
Time is more precious than gold, and to spend all your quality time and health on some job that keeps you poor, how is that living?
I'm old enough now to realize I'm not apart of anything but myself.
I'm not apart of any community, and embraced by absolutely no one.

Being off for 4 days in a row begins to change you, I feel more mellow now, maybe even lazy, more relaxed. And when you return to work, you feel like you've been off for a month, and I guess that's good in a way, or could be bad.
I mean if it's a job you love, that could be bad, but with current job, that's all it really is is a job, I've maxed out my skill set years ago, so it's not like working more will help me to advance.
There are many jobs out there like that, where you max out on professancy within a few years, and then it just becomes 'labor'.
I'm to point in life where I don't feel like climbing anymore job ladders, it's all just labor to me, and if I do earn extra money it will have to be through writing or something, not labor.
One thing this schedule shows me is that I could stay home forever, and it wouldn't bother me at all.
I mean if I hit one of those lottery tickets where you win like 1000 a week for life, that would suite me just fine.
I'd sit my butt at home, wouldn't bother anyone, and I'd be just as fine as could be.

Work schedule changed a bit
I went from 3 on, 4 off, to now it's 2 on, 1 off, 1 on, 3 off.
A bit different, but still gives me plenty of time to handle stuff compared to working m-f and always behind on personal projects.
I mean even with all this time off, still always lagging behind on personal projects and goals.
Also, working nights is a bit different, can through off your energy peak times when off, cause when off, rather than stay awake all night to keep in sync with job sleep cycle, it's just to easy and comfortable to revert back to sleeping at night, it just feels more natural and you fall into a deeper sleep.
I got a lot done, this particular round of 'off time', a lot done on my scale anyways.
So now gotta work 2 days, or nights in a row, then off on Friday I guess., then work Sat..that's weird.
I wish I could just win the lottery and just be off forever.

Odd work schedule.
2 on, 1 off, one on, then off for 3 days.
Odd, but I'll take it, you work just enough to not get burned out, and are off just enough to accomplish side tasks.
I prefer it way over the old 5-6 days in a row, during the week, where have to wait for holidays to get time off, how prehistoric.
I've worked hard and long enough that I no longer feel should have to beg for time off or justify it, or wait eagerly for a few holidays off a year.
With this schedule, basically I get holiday time off on a weekly basis.
And I'm healthier and happier for it, particularly since have labor type of job.
I see those road construction guys, all dirty and grungy, their clothing always looks soiled, all the men look like from civil war era, no women around, nothing soxy, just heavy machinery and mud. No thanks, how depressing, but I'm sure some out there love it, good for them.
It's always awkward going from play to work.
I have a few more hours to shift my mind from being free, to being a useful tool.
But with this schedule, I really can't complain much.

I begin my kind of 3 or 2 day semi social media hybernation tonight, meaning it's time to go back to work.
But cause I work nights, when I am off, I'm mainly sleeping or resting and not really creating much of anything.
If not given so many days off to re-coop, I don't I could do this job for long....but having 3-4 days off in a row, is enough to make up for any inconvience schedule may cause.
I give myself about a c+, on how I used this last round of off time, I could of done more, could of been more productive.
But I've had more time off over the last 6 months, than I've had for the previous 8 years or so.
I was off for near 2 months from like Jan-March, and that's when that Corona stuff hit, but I lived off savings, and just took my time until I found job that fit my current mood, and glad I waited.
Also, when have so many days off, I've realized there's still stuff on list I never get to, and never would get to if had to work 5-6 days in a row, but you do tend to prioritize more when have less time off.
But also realize no matter how much time you have off, there's never enough time to do all that you think you should or could be doing, never enough time, at least not for me.
Life has been relatively quite lately, but can change in a matter of seconds. Lightening struck less than 15 feet from my place the other day, could of been me that got struck, things happen in a flash.
And even though I live a quiet peaceful existence, others around me don't, there's always evil lurking around out there, evil never sits still, that's what scary, is just not knowing when 'evil' will strike, or what form it'll come in.
A person, a new so called friend, lighting, a auto accident, a criminal, a scam artist, you just never know what form evil will come in, or even old family member.
One thing for sure, evil, it just can't leave you along for long.

Life after work
Life after work, or life after 'death' as if feels like right now..yes being a bit theatrical to make a point, and that point is, the wrong type of job will totally destroy your creativity, your energy, your enthusiasm, your color and all other things that make you you.
It's sad actually, if you care anything about 'life' in it's entirety.
Certain jobs, or I should say conditions of certain jobs will turn you into a zombie.
I'm a bit fortunate, in small way, in that at least with my job I'm given enough time off to 'recover', to find self again, to find meaning again, outside of blind labor.
Now this description of a job will vary vastly among people depending on many factors.
1. Age
2. Job vs career
3. Social life surrounding that job and or within it
4. Over all health
5. Income from job
6. Home life
And a few more things.
Also, job you could of enjoyed long ago, can grow to hate later on, just like a marriage.
When you first get married you can love your spouse, but as time progresses you two can grow apart, well same with a job.
Just like you can have a Zombie marriage, you can also have a zombie relationship with your job.
You can still even perform it well, but on the inside no love for it at all.
Like a Zombie marriage, you can still go through the motions, but no passion in it at all, and just dream of the day when can get away from spouse.
A career is so much different than a job
1. A career, unlike a job, usually allows you to have creative input, administrative input, that really matters as you age and grow.
2. Careers usually have upper mobility, in that the longer you do it, the more your experience is appreciated, and rewarded with advancement, not just in pay but favorable position or 'office'.
3. With a career, you're usually working around more 'colorful' people, with a job, the people you work around usually act and behave more like robots, with no emotions, and who do not think outside the box.
Some examples of careers vs jobs (not scientific, some may disagree)
Some jobs
1. Cashier
2. Pipe fitter
3. Truck driver
4. Janitor
5. Asphalt laborer
6. Seamstress
7. Sanitation worker
8. Security guard
9. medical coder or biller
10. Field hand
Now some careers
1. Actor/performer/singer/songwriter
2. Pilot (aviation pilot, cruise ship pilot, locomotive train pilot ext)
3. First responder, LEO, paramedic, rescue team ext
4. Military
5. Political office
6. Professional athlete
7. Scientist/Engineer and said professions where get to invent new processes
8. Entertainment, Director, film crew, stage hand ext
9. Create own business, run own business
10. Education, teacher, Professor ext
And so forth, I mean basically a career always you on the job flexibility, you're not just standing in one spot, doing a mindless repetitive task over and over again for 8-12 hours.
In a job, no matter how bright you are, your input means zero, no one above you cares that you could revelutionize how job is done, they don't care, they just want you to work like a mule and follow the rules laid before you by the experts.
But in your mind you know these so called experts are 'dorks' who don't know 'sh-t'.
To sum this up, my advice to those under the age of say, 25 or even 30, go to College, or better yet finish college, it will such at the time, but you'll be glad you did years later.
With college, one day you'll be able to 'control the labor', without completing college, you'll always 'be the labor'.
Don't let people fool you and tell you you don't need college, you do, in that many corporations still play by the old rules, in that you can qualify in every way to fill a position, but at end of qualifying list you'll see 'Must have 4 year degree', and it will totally break your heart.
My advice, go to college, or go back and finish, whatever, so that when older you can control the labor, rather than be the labor.
Even if don't use your degree right away, better to have and not need, than to need and not have.
It will be easier for you to muscle way through college while young, people will see more potential in you when younger, programs more likely to lend you money, grants, scholarships, and more when younger.
The path is easier for you when younger, and you have more stubborn energy about you when younger, so do yourself a favor and go to college, finish college whatever just do it.
Heck, now I feel like going back to college.

Brief window has closed on social media stars
The brief window to where could elevate self to stardom by using social media, has all but about closed, the reason why is when social media first came out it was new, and a ton of new faces, personalities, were hurled upon the world, that Hollywood and other gateways would of never given a chance or noticed without agents.
Traffic was wide open, back in the day, a no body could get 10's of 1000's of random views or hits on a website or on YT ect, and be a star over night, but sadly those days are gone!
Now days the traffic cartel, such as google, FB, twitter and the rest, have taken over not just their own platform traffic, but all internet traffic!
If you're on twitter now, or YT and wonder why so few views?, it's cause you're not paying to play, it's that simple.
All those sites now have 'add campaigns', where you pay to get your tweets boosted, seen by more people, the more you pay, the more your tweet or 'add campaign' dispersed.
Now think about it, if these sites are boosting the posts of those who pay, than why in the hell would they allow those who don't pay, to be promoted on the same level?
So, as a result, if you don't pay to play, or pay to get your tweets out there, or FB posts out there, you're basically buried, not really to be found by anyone unless you share your direct link.
You can also notice the same on YT, is why years ago, before google Fcked up YT, you could post any ole video, and within a month have 5000 views, where as now, post same video, and within a month have maybe 2-10 views, if that, same video mind you, but different rules.
It's why thinking you can elevate your status through social media now days is a waste of time.
Cause no matter how talented, social media sites totally control who gets to see your talent, and if you're not paying them first, forget about it.
In other words it's just like going to Hollywood now or Broadway, the same mentality has taken over Social media, 'you want to play, than first you must pay'.
Thus once again scooting the small common person aside.
It's sick, it really is when you think about it, how greedy these tech sites have become.

It's why many are now going to 'Parlor', that's like a twitter alternative I've heard about. Cause now, unless your mirror CNN's views, good luck getting noticed on any social media site, they're all turning into like the old Soviet Union or something, or even China, where now they control who gets to say what.

Every time common man or woman finds way to get ahead and prosper, here comes 'big money', and screws it up!
Every time the small man/woman, finds back door way to prosper, than sooner or later here comes 'big money' and screws it all up!
It never fails.
Now what was free, here comes 'big money' and monetizes it, which brings in scammers, fraud, dishonest people, dishonest brokers, basically the whole 'street thug', mentality moves into 'big tech'.
Is why some of the most sleazy, without values, utter monster types, gravitate towards 'big tech' now, I mean utter monsters when it comes to exploiting people, taking peoples money, ripping people off, manipulating your emotions, studying you and more.
And they're rewarded with 'money', lots and lots of money, and are distant from 'us', so they have no public accountability, cause if they did, they'd get beat up.
Sorry, but if people actually knew who they were, they'd get beat up every time they stepped into a lounge or bar or seen at the beach, they'd get instantly beat up, like on the streets.
These tech types are more sleazy than even street types, but the difference is they're not seen, and hide their ugly methods behind large incomes and uppity neighborhoods.
