Savage caught in exaggerated lie about not getting hired as Professor early in career

Savage continues to whine about how in the early 70's affirmative action prevented him from getting a job as a Professor at any Major University, so he automatically blames minorities, that he thinks were hired just to spite him...

He makes the cry babyish assumption that all minorities hired, instead of him, while he was applying, were 'Less qualified'.

Totally illogical..

For one, the over all % of minority Professor hired even back then would have been very minimal, maybe 10% or less.
So my question to Savage would be, "If your scores were so hot, (as if that's the only qualifier), and you so brilliant (in own mind) than how come 90% or more of other 'white' males/females were able to get on as Professors with no problems?

Correction in the 1960's blacks represented less than 1% of Professors at predominately White Universities

So during Savages era, he would have been competing against 1% or less of African American Professors, or other people of color, most of whom taught at Black Universities, as times were still pretty segregated back then.

So Savage tells his audience that some how the 1% of Minorities hired to teach at Universities, prevented him from getting hired...

Yet the 99% of other white male Professors, who dominated Professorships, had no problem getting hired at all...hmm.

Sounds like a typical cry baby 1960's era racist to me, and probably wasn't hired for other reasons that had to do with his personality, than 1% minority competition he claims kept him from job. Classic cry baby.

And I'm suppose to look up to a man who blatantly distorts his own past, and unfairly has been blaming blacks and affirmitave action for his own short comings all these years (until he got into radio).

No, others can follow and worship this talk radio entertainer if they want, but don't count me amongst them.

I prefer people who are more balance, honest and fair, and who don't sell their souls for ratings.

Even by 1979, Blacks represented only 2% of all faculty at Universities

2% or less!!

Yet Savage blames all his failing on them...

So what's his alternative, that no blacks or minorities ever be hired at all??, that 0% minorities and women be hired? And even then I bet Savage would have been denied Professorship, then he'd of blamed gays.

Sounds like the mindset of a true Supermist from that era, this idea that no blacks or minorities should ever be hired at anything, and those whom are 'aren't qualified'.

And I have nothing against an honest Supremist, but Savage has risen in radio pretending that he's not, and that's what disgusses me, the lie.

One his first show, or near about, first thing he did was tell 'hate groups' not to call him, cause he knew they'd mirror his thoughts and ruin his show, and sponsors would with draw, so instead pretend not to be racist, cloak self in 'intellectualism' and get away with saying, suggesting things, that the Klan could only dream of saying on the radio...wow...clever...all of them, these talk radio hosts, they're all skillful at deceit...and none of them are my hero's and have never taught me anything at all.
