 'Hooked on a feeling'-B.J. Thomas... I had to choose a bold song, a loud song, for a bold and loud self portrait... And I had to go back to the Seventies, when songs were loud, pure and clean...and full of color and expression, like the portrait.  It's one of those songs that just get's ya snappen, and in the mood to be happy...it has Saturday written all over it...a clean, bright, Saturday morning. I miss the 70's,bright clean parks, colorful people, colorful hippies, and a colorful life. All that stuff lives through my portraits...it's a feeling deep inside of me, like the song says. The Frog Prince that I am, that no one see's...If I have to become dull, boring and mundane to impress, than forget it, I'll remain a frog Prince and free... |

 I needed a happy summer song to go with this portrait. A cheery 'every things going to be alright' type of song. I haven't been in a portrait taking mood in many months now. It's not something you can fake. You're either in the mood and spirit or you're not. And when in the mood, it just flows naturally, like you're out of body or something. . |

Grace Under Fire Why are certain types turned off if you look 'good' or 'elegant'?...and or have class? Life is short, why not shine when and while you can? Why live up to the Frankenstein narrative of others, who need you to look, be, ugly, in order for them to feel secure in their spot? This is the Twylightzone...it's ok to be free and elegant here, as long as it's tasteful and artsy. Beauty is a short lived gift, no matter whom it is given to, don't throw it away, enjoy it while it's yours.

Stretched Fantasy This is the Twylight Zone, don't expect normal stuff here. This is a beautiful portrait here, and doesn't capture the essence of a male or female, but rather a mood. Moods everyone has. In the zone, it's OK to just let go and be. .

I was homeless once, years ago, but no one gave a sh_t I was homeless once years ago, but ya know what, no one gave a crap, cause I guess I wasn't pretty enough. Sad that society only cares about you, only thinks you're worth doing a story on, if you're pretty and make males hard...how sad. But if you're neither of those, forget about it and if homeless just expect to lay in gutter getting hit on by the oddest of odd curb side dwellers....  Street life, been there, done that, survived it, and still here
