Does electric shock therapy actually work?
If electric shock therapy works, than why stop at ones soxual orientation?
Why not use electric shock to correct a whole list of behavior flaws, drug use, laziness, adultery and more..

Today went by entirely to quick, even though didn't do anything note worthy other than go out and purchase a sewing machine. I use to have one long ago, was never very good at it, but decided to get one again so I can fix clothing, hats, rather than spend money on new stuff. To bad that more and more people are forgetting how to do basic stuff, whether male or female, like sewing or cooking and other hobby craft type of stuff that use to be staples in homes. To each their own I suppose, but for me, learning how to do simple things all over again can have a therapeutic effect, get you away from tech stuff. Even creating own jewelry is easy if you go to craft store. Anyways not much else to say on here right now, evenings about gone and like a monster, tomorrow is looming. Every now and then I like to go back and see what souls were up to years ago on here, I mean after all this forum has been around around 7 years or more, there have been some slow periods for sure, but it just keeps going and going... So according to above post, 5 years ago learning how to 'sew' was the thing to do. Sadly, many images posted back then, have been erased, back then could copy and post just about any image or gif, back when the internet was truly 'wide open', before the likes of google and FB and other traffic directors ruined it all... I miss those days where common people could interact with one another without going through a gate keeper....not anymore...

I really have no more use for TV anymore. I've gone years without it, and only got cable to lower bill, but now that I have it again, it's a waste of my time...here's why. 1. All the shows, movies, I want to view I'm not subscribed to channels. 2. Half the channels I do get are nothing more than infomercials. 3. The movies they play on channels I get are years old, sometimes decades old, I've just gotten use to going to store, pawn shops, or ordering DVD movies, series, I want to see, and enjoy that much better than waiting for random movie you may or may not like to appear on cable channels. And when I out right buy older movies, series, no commercials...that's the best part of it, and I can pause, clip out frames ect. 4. People on screen, local news channels, no longer impress me, they just remind me of the ordinary people I work around or see every day, simply with more make up on. When I was younger, if anyone appeared on TV they were 'special' to me, magic, different, not anymore. Now to me they're just average people earning a living like everyone else. People who will never ever help you at anything. People who will let you starve, die ect. People on TV just no longer impress me. Now every now and then a good themed movie or series will, where they deal with real life issues, and have actors good enough to pull it off...but the people themselves don't impress me at all. TV is slow and boring to me now...I do still like the older programming, but can't really get on my service, so I find it more fulfilling to simply order whole series on line on DVD, where you can order all of year 1 or 2 of whatever series you're into, without all the BS distractions of cable programming, like commercials, where everyone acts so fake. Television programing is just not for me anymore. If I want old classics like 'Leave it to Beaver' or 'Brady Bunch' or 'Twilight Zone', or 'Sanford and Son' or 'Sopranos' or any other TV series, I can just order the DVD's and have the whole collection in my place, to watch anytime I feel like it. Cable TV is over rated just like health Insurance is. And 6 years ago, this is what was in the mindset of 'the zone', or this section...TV was on the way out...wow...6 years ago! This forum is like a history book now...or gigantic mental photo album of the past. And 6 years ago, according to above post, is when 'cable TV' started getting very old. Still is, and why no longer have it..

The concept behind this blog forum, and why it has such longevity is that
Life, your life goes on, whether other people want it to or not
Before this forum blog created, like in 2012 or so, other forums were so 'moderator' heavy, they all started getting a 'god complex' and totally control what posters wanted to share.
And like if conversation went on to long, stuck up moderator would close the thread down.
I mean think about that for a minute...how do you shut a conversation down that should maybe extend for a decade or longer?
How can you say all there is to say about any topic in like one or two posts?
Do colleges and Universities end class after one session?
That totally never made sense to me, and then if wanted to discuss topic more, would be labeled a 'troll'...again why?, cause curious about something?
You learn, grow, by asking and challenging...but back in the days of forums, if you asked to many questions, you were considered a pest or a troll.
That never ever made sense to me at all, and still doesn't.
I can understand if being rude, but if not being rude, asking questions, keeping conversation alive is 'real life'...
I mean you don't shut down your brain after 5 minutes of being awake, and say to yourself.
"OK, I"m done thinking for the day, time to shut brain activity down'.
But that's in essence what older moderators use to do to people engaged in conversation, they'd just come in and shut conversation down....
Think if they didn't, but allowed conversation to go on forever, think of the relationships would of formed, all the new people that could of added new thoughts, ideas, and more...
To me you don't ever shut down life...let life live, express, let life think, and if it takes 19 years to conclude a discussion, than so be it...that's life.
You don't put a 'timer' on life.
And that's why the Zone continues on, cause here, there is no 'timer' on how long a topic can go on or an issue can be discussed, life simply continues to roll on here, recorded life, until whenever.

Memories of Horizon Air I remember as a youth, being so intrigued with airplanes, and the town I grew up in had a very small airport, like a one lane airport, but as a mild, that port was like a 'space port' to me, and seeing airplanes come in and land was like watching space ships from another planet arrive. Oh the awe of youth, I totally miss being in 'awe' of things, things that were so much 'bigger than self'... But seems the older you get, the more you know, learn, the smaller stuff gets to you, both going forward and in the past. Live on Horizon Air....live on...

Not a gun nut type, but I notice
I'm not a gun nut type, and rarely do I ever talk about guns on here, but I do notice when times get uncertain in America two types of people or demigraphics do the following.
1. Those in metropolitan areas buy up all the food.
2. Those in rural areas buy up all the ammo and guns
Hmm, I wonder which strategy is the best?
Me, I do neither, I just sit still, watch and observe, and try to stay out of other people's way.
A gun would do me no good at all, maybe a small pistol if roaming country side in some Mad Max scenerio, but as in 'now', not sure what going out and buying a gun and ammo would do for me.
I really don't have anything to protect I guess, and have learned 'steal', remaining invisible is far more effective than confrontation.
To me, if have to use a fire arm, you've pretty much already lost. A fire arm is useless against the Government unless, repeat, unless have like an Army of 500 + men, who are also armed and of one defensive mindset.
But just having one or two guns as a individual, and thinking that will hold back the Government, nah, I mean the Government has endless supplies of weapons, the Gov takes on enemies far more armed than a few militia farm families.
And if the Gov doesn't want to fight, they could just drop a bomb from the sky.
To me, simply remaining invisible is the best defense, cause people can't fight you, steal from you, become hostile towards you if they're not even aware of you.

Been doing some housekeeping on here
Been doing some housekeeping on here, moving this old post there, this old post here, and retiring a few sections to the 'basement' on here, some of these posts go back 7 + years!!
Wow, it's like keeping record on past events, social events, stuff in the news and all, things most have forgotten about can simply come on here and type in the past and see what was going on.
Although as of late, I don't really report on news events anymore, cause waste of my creative time. The news wants you to focus on 'them', as if your own observations and reactions to things means nothing. I have my own shows now, why do I always need to dial into mainstream...mainstream means nothing to me.
Mainstream has neglected me my whole entire life.
I despise main stream, I despise commercialism, is why so hate when odd types post BS on here and just leave stupid crap in posts, is why I always delete, and ban, as soon as they're spotted.
Commercialism is worse than Satan, as far as I'm concerned...I mean at least Satan wants your soul, commercialism doesn't even acknowledge you have one
Commercialism is worse than Satan, as far as I'm concerned...I mean at least Satan wants your soul, commercialism doesn't even acknowledge you have one!
Anyways, yet another day to fill.
So let me get started.

The past can seem like a graveyardView AttachmentSooner or later you realize the past doesn't exist anymore, anywhere, accept in your own mind. If you try to go back and visit 'the past' it can seem like a graveyard, unless others from the past are there with you where you re live it in your mind. But if you go by yourself 'to the past', it can seem like walking through a graveyard. The world you once knew gone, the dynamics, gone, the energy, familiarity with area, gone...nothing but tombstones remain, ghostly reminisces of the past. Connect with those now, while you can, from your past, before they to are gone. Another best of past post from April 2015, nearly 5 years ago. Times have really changed since then, and this forum blog measures those changes by accident. I remember when use to fill almost every post up with 'gifs' or sparkly pics, animations, those days pretty much gone as most everything is copyrighted now, all those free flowing images on the net, from years ago, have been rounded up and a stamp of generic ownership has been put on them. Hyperlinks were fun back in the day cause it's how your 'art' got out there. I personally love it when people share my art, the more of my art out there the better, is how I see it, that means my presence broadens. Anyways, haven't been out in days, suppose to go to farmers market today but, I don't know, seems bad things only happen when you leave your place. My appetite has dropped and so has my weight, a bit, just not eating as much since home all the time now. If anything grand should come up, I'll share, but right now..blah, just another day so far.

Don't sell yourself short
Don't sell yourself short, I remember when growing up, the way I was raised was to revere those older than me, or in 'positions of trust', like bankers, (anyone in any type of uniform or with title), when growing up just taught to blindly trust in them.
And I still have that 'bad habit' at times, in that I still tend to assume others are 'good', by default, or without 'flaw'.
But then, of course, as you age, you realize that's not the case, and realize people motivated by a million different things on the inside.
You don't have to do a thing wrong, and can still be hated and despised based on another persons perception, which is not reality based.
But the thing is is most won't tell you, so you never suspect that they really don't like you, again, you (if raised as I was), just assume everyone has good intent or will towards you, sadly they don't, and will instead sabotage you behind the scenes instead of confronting you in person or in writing. It's more fun to 'whisper' for some, thus by whispering they're never held to account when wrong.
A noble person wants to know whether they're right or wrong, a worm type, simply wants to be 'right', even when clearly wrong.
All that aside, never sell yourself short, if others can learn something, so can you.

Also, I now think I know why every time you fill out a 'comment form', anywhere now, they always demand you leave your email address, or can't send.
Long ago, that wasn't required.
But duh, that's how sites collect your information, and get like 100 + email addresses, and walla, you have information that companies want.
I'm so slow at this, cause I'm not greedy, I don't think that way.
But if did, oh how I could earn.
Companies need email addresses in order to do marketing campaigns.
But now they can do their campaigns, follow you every where on line using computer IP, and this identifier and that.
But still, email collection still valuable, obviously, or they wouldn't still ask for it any time you want to leave a comment on any site.
So many have sold out to the all mighty dollar, who swore up and down they wouldn't when younger and in college.

I just don't have anyone I can really look up to anymore, it's like everyone under the sun has sold out.
Money is everyone's God now.
And that 'Money God' just makes people jaded, without conscious.
More so on the corporate level than even the street level.
You get robbed way more, of personal information, every time you get online, way more than street criminals could ever imagine doing to you.
But because online 'robbers' are licensed to steal and sell, and trade your identity, it's looked at by most as being 'OK'.
It's why so many tech graduates are so utterly corrupt now, especially those from India.
Will rob you blind over the phone, or in fake believe help center and not even loose sleep over it.
What God do people like that worship?
Or when you watch these crime shows on TV, and see how these money managers rip off investors, and the victims are always like
'But they looked so nice', I didn't know 'nice' was a look.
What they're basically saying is 'They looked like 'me', and cause they look like me, they're safe'..is what they're really saying.
Again, I'm having to re adjust how bright I use to automatically think people were.
Most will walk into the hands of a devil, yet run away from a saint.....I just don't get that.

I suspect that celebrities drop in and read this forum, from time to time, and or even a lot, it's becoming a novelty
I really do suspect that celebrities, and media personalities, Authors, even musicians and more, drop in and read this forum from time to time, or even a lot.
In that a lot of the sentiment on here, written either recently or long ago, funny how often it finds it's way to other peoples shows on TV or in Movies, or Posters, postcards, any thing creative.
I do suspect many come here to get ideas, cause that's what artist do, that's what creator do, the seek 'themes' in which to base their next projects on.
I'm fine with that, I suppose, I mean I could make all of this private, but what fun would that be?
Speaking of celebs, what ever happened to Dr Dre, the rapper, dude has to be pretty old now, he looked rough years ago, probably more ugly now, talented, but homely.
Usually when performers turn ugly to themselves, they vanish away from public eyes.
Dre was like the first rapper to become a billionaire after teaming up with 'Apple' with those headphones and speakers..'Dre Beats'?
Billionaire rappers certainly can't rap about the hood anymore or having it rough, that's for sure.

I feel kind of bad for not maybe reaching out to the few who have joined over the years, not sure what they were expecting.
But believe it or not, for this forum, conversations kill the momentum.
This forum always has to be 'what's on your mind', and not 'will someone respond to what I said'.
If it's based on 'will someone respond to what I said', it would of died out years ago, like so many other ghost forums do.
I go to other forums and see how quick topics die out, and to me it's like 'why?', in that I see conversation should of gone on for days or weeks, but instead a new thread will be started by a member, they'll ask a question, 2-6 people respond, than it dies, why?
That's so incomplete, to me a conversation should go on as long as your alive.
You don't stop talking to your spouse after a few phrases do you?
'Honey, that's it, you've spoken to me 4 times today, you've reached your limit, now we must close this conversation down'..
Not here, here conversations live on, and go on until fate says otherwise.
Welcome to the Twylight Zone.

Continuing to expand and grow
Continuing to expand and grow, here, on here and elsewhere, I mean you have to, while alive, cause when dead you certainly cannot.
But this place here, this spot, will always be the most special to me cause of all the memories, real life memories that cannot be replicate.
The memories, the expressions and more.
Forum type lay outs are just a cool place, if you know how to use them to your advantage.
Some of my capabilities to express and share stuff here have been dampened, but that won't stop me in the future and going forward, expression can never stop until you're dead and gone.
And maybe some wish that, but until it occurs, expression goes on.
I found newer place where have a ton more 'Admin' power, tools, and can do basically whatever I want, within my own guidelines that is, not anyone else's.
I'm to old, to experienced, to live up under other peoples guidelines anymore if don't have to.
My own guidelines are good enough, or I wouldn't be here right now.
And someone else's 'taste' or 'bias', or 'prejudice' is not a guideline, not a moral one anyways.
I found place where can upload links, photos, sell stuff, and more, and or allow members to do the same (not that I ever want or need members)
I just have a lot more options going forward that will allow me to 'breathe' again.
Don't get me wrong, there's always going to be 'rules' no matter where you go or what service you use, but the rules simply get catered more to your favor the more money you plop down.
It's usually why the rich get their way more times than not , cause money talks more than opinion.
Is why politicians laugh at those who elect them once in office.
Voters do more for politicians by electing them to office than politicians ever do for voters once there.
Voters do more for politicians by electing them to office than politicians ever do for the voters who elected them
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Right now, if regular visitor to this blog forum, you can see I've been exploring different themes lately, still not set, I'm just trying to 'expand' the feel to forum. And space scenes tend to remind us how small we are in the over all scope of things, and reminds us how much room there still is for personal growth in life, if we so chose.
And in closing, again, this place here, oh what a place, it's medicine, it's quiet, it's peaceful and will always be special to me, this spot right here.
And many many more posts to follow, God or fate willing and or allowing.

Could make this forum continue to grow, like days of old, but need old tools back
Folks, I could make this forum grow, like days of old, but need old tools back.
This forum here isn't the only place on Earth where people gather and share useful information, such as jobs, music, tech stuff, and more, the internet is about sharing, if can't share, it's like having ____ snipped, when it comes to being online.
Sites that fail are sites that fail to adapt, where dinosaurs from back hills still run things as if it's the 1980's, and banana manna pie type stuff.
Sorry, but people are expressive now days, want to be heard and seen, want their view points heard and seen, millions.
I still believe in forums heavily, and would like to take back the whole traffic thing from FB, twitter, ect, if not 'here' than elsewhere, as I said money talks, money buys, but like it here, 'here' is my baby.
I need my tools back.
