The society I grew up in is just not here anymore.
Heck the society that was here when this blog formed created in 2013, has all but vanished.
Not sure what to do going forward, as the world, society, keeps dissolving behind me...and not always for the better.
Social media has destroyed everything, and has spread bad behavior to communities it used to not be in.

The minute demonic commercials want interupt my Amazon movies, viewing, I'm done, will switch to YouTube, where at least commercials are there, but free.
F commercials, woke azz, everything I hate about life, interference BS.
I vomit on commercials...with their PC messaging.

I hear Amazon will add commercials to their shows and movies next year, if and when they do that I think I'm done with streaming, and will just go back to DVD's
I hate commercials, the way they disrupt your movie, or moment, it's like someone throwing acid in your face, or sour water.
And commercials just so cheapen the experience of watching a movie, commercials can be very dehumanizing at times.
Commericals just assume you're some brain dead consumer without a soul, or thoughts, or troubles of your own, and movies can be places of escape.
All commericals do is inject everything I hate about society right into my personal space....the images, the messaging, the political correct BS.
I'll end the streaming side of Amazon if they add commercials, and I'll just do YT, YT has commercials, but at least it's free, or I'll sign their streaming service.
And I'm about done with Disney as well, I mean how many times can I watch the same Star Wars or Marvel shows over and over again.

Life seems like a stage to me right now, and we all got these roles to play, and no matter how hard you try to change your role, you cannot, it's as if the roles have already been pre-assigned.

Rumble Fish  One of the coolest movies ever, to me, it's so abstract. It's done in black and white, and the way the movie uses shades, and contrasting dark and light, and not to mention Matt Dillan was at his stunning prime, or near it. Amazing how a movie can be so ahead of it's time, and that no other movie like it has really been produced since. Watching it on amazon. The love Matt (not character name) had for his older brother, and their Father was a drunk, talk about dysfunctional, but they all accepted each other, life 'as is'. It's a beautiful movie to me, very poetic movie. I feel like I'm going through that crap now, but in a different way of course, and with maybe the older brother in this movie actually being my past, or what I wish 'was', but isn't, and then in the movie his brother goes away, dies, which maybe represents all my dreams I had for this world...who knows, I just know I like the movie and can relate to it (I'm sure millions of others can as well, in their own ways)(I'm not so conceited as to think the movie only talks to me, lol) Anyways, it's late, but like the characters in this movie, I've been adrift as of late, not really knowing my place in this world anymore.

Wow, it's October, and I've really yet to get into the spirit of the season  I wait all year for October to get here, then when here, just like in the summer, I'm so caught up in daily stuff, routine and schedule, that I fail to fully embrace the moment, darn. Well, hopefully I can at least remind myself, and others, on here, that it's October, indeed a special time, regardless of the noise going on in society. I just need to focus on my little world, and cherish it while it's still together. ---------------------- It's October, and Halloweens right around the corner. I wish Halloween were like 3 nights in a row, instead of just one.

October is upon us, already half way gone, wow!  Art, self-portraits, have always allowed me to escape and relax whatever my current reality happens to be. Some people have very good current realities that they love, but others, as myself, aren't always comfortable with the current reality of my life. Most of the good and bad takes place within our own minds. That being said, that's a 'me' portrait from a few years ago, but I changed some things. You won't find such a person in real life (Accept maybe in the Lord of the Rings as some larger hobbit or something), in that I enlarged the head area and the feet. I've always used my own body as a canvass, to stretch and explore my physical range.Sad thing is, is that in real life, most people would never imagine I have such artistic range, cause when I go to work, I just look like any other average blue collar tweeb. ---------------------- I'm older now, but glad, for a few years, I really explored portrait art, when still young enough to make it fun to self to do so, and the fun thing about digital art, or help, is that now you can stretch your youthful glow even further than if just had to rely on film development like years ago. Remember the days of taking all your private photos to the drug store and allowing a stranger to develop your pictures? Anyways, you gotta keep having fun in life or you'll become old and cranky Happy October and soon, Happy Halloween!

Grace under fire, could only be made in the good ole U.S.A. People should never take their freedoms for granted in the good ole U.S.A. But sadly many do. The freedom of expression should never be suppressed by anyone, particularly foreigners who tend to come from very intolerant societies. Well please don't bring that intolerance here to the states, thanks.

You can look however you wanna look at any age and or gender, we sculpt ourselves  Is looking good a sin? Is looking good to self a sin? Oh, it's just art, relax, but just saying, if I can make myself look like this (and I'm ugly), I can, could, only imagine what I could do for others who actually, truly, do look good in real life. Actually, my body is fine, it's just my face won't co-operate...D'oh!
