What I don't under stand is I read some of the requirements to cast a ballet and vote, and according to what I read polling places have always (at least in recent years) required a picture I.D. in order to vote. In other words Americans who are citizens have to display a photo ID in order to cast a ballot. So why would non citizens be exempt, from doing what Americans already do, and that is show photo ID at polling place, before being allowed to vote? In other words if an American citizen leaves their photo ID at home, they would not be allowed to vote, unless they went back home and retrieved it. So I'm trying to understand why some are exempt from displaying photo ID, and others are not? I've never paid much attention to this stuff...but this one here kind of strikes me odd...I need to do more reading on it... I do know 'registering' to vote and 'casting a vote' once registered are two different processes. I need to do a bit more reading up on this topic, so I don't just get all emotional like talk show hosts do. I have no crowd to 'play' here, no audience, so I can take my time and read up on this topic and present the facts fairly and without political persuasion...

After doing a bit more reading, I've learned every state has slightly different polling place voting requirements...different forms of ID's one can permit...from State issued drivers license, military ID, social security #, birth certificate, passport and so on.
But beyond that, there is nothing stated that says you must prove you're a U.S. citizen...I guess in the past people just assumed if you had I.D. than you must be a citizen.
Many non citizens, can meet many of the ID requirements demanded to vote, I guess the 'problem' to some, comes about when those polling would only ask certain voters to prove their citizenship, and that obviously would be based on physical cues, which could lead to civil issues, I guess, law suits ect.
Like maybe someone who looks South of the border, who was born in Lincoln, being asked to 'prove you're an American'...
In all fairness I could see where issues could arise there.
Proof of citizenship would have to be blanket, in order to not single certain people out, which our natural tendencies tend to do.
If the proof of citizenship is not 'blanket'...than it leaves the door open for select targeting by some.
But that aside...
If one is not a citizen of this country, they should not vote, that's how it is all around the world.
I can't go to Italy and vote as a foreigner, nor could I cast a vote in Japan.
Being a citizen to vote, is nothing new, and other countries have the same rules.

I have nothing against voting ID laws...nothing at all... No laws passed, would, could, prevent me from voting, if I wanted to.
What's the big deal?

To me, if you're to dumb, slow, shady, to get an ID card, than don't freagin vote. No other country allows people without ID's to vote, so why should America? I've had a ID card since I could walk...it's not that difficult. Get an ID card or don't vote.

As a minority, not sure how my voting interests differ from that of 'white persons'
As a minority, not sure how my voting interests differ from that of a 'white person' or 'life form'.
All life forms thrive or dive based on same positives or negatives, so not sure how color or 'districts' would effect my voting voice.
Examples..
1. Whites want clean water, Hispanics and blacks and other want clean water.
2. Whites want top notch schools, Hispanics, Indians, and others want top notch schools for their Ducklings
3. Whites want safe neighborhoods, Hispanics, Native Americans, and educated blacks want same neighborhoods, and even gay people in the LGBTQ community want safe crime free neighborhoods, where they can come home after work, walk down street and not get mugged.
And I could go on and on and on.
Seems to me all common decent minded people want the same things in life, in their neighborhoods and communities, not sure how 'decent' is divided amongst ethnic groups.
What's decent to a Russian American, how is that different than what's decent to a Asian American or Anglo American?
Screw color, the only two category's of people there should be is decent and unruly...
(Gosh, just had one of the 'De Javu' type of sensations, like been here and said this before...odd..

Please don't vote unless you know what you're voting for or about!!
Unlike others, I myself, and the Zone say do not just go out and blindly vote unless you know what you're voting for!
Don't be 'sheep' for either party, I'd rather have you stay home, than have any political party usher you to the polls just to blindly do their bidding.
If you're voting for a Democrat, know why, and tradition is not a good reason, know why you're voting democrat, know which issues you think will make you life or existence better.
If you're voting for a Republican, know why, and tradition is not a good reason, know why you're voting Republican, know which issues you think will make your life or existence better.
I don't like when either party just tells people to 'vote' just for the sake of voting.
I say DON"T VOTE, unless you know what you're voting for, who your voting for, their policies and issues.

It should be sick, gross and insulting that Democrats think that their voting base exists of Felons and people of color
The mind of a elected Democrat is this idea that their voting base consists of felons, ex felons of color, I mean think about that...think about that long and hard, the standard, or I should say the low standard elected Democrats hold their base to.
It's a real gross kind of condescending racism when you think of it.
Democrat thinking and reasoning = Err, you're black, in prison, err, therefore you must be a Democrat'
Think about that mindset for a minute.
This rush to pay fines, and bail, and restatution for minority felons, just so they can vote for 'Biden', what kind of a mindset is that?
It's Biden's policies that have most of them locked up to begin with!!
Not only that, but nor was it Republican policies that got them locked up!
Stealing, robbing, lying under oath, driving with suspended license, DUI, check fraud, domestic abuse, assault, selling drugs, protitution, ect ect...are you telling me people who commit these acts are who the Democrats need to get them over the top???
Are you hobbitding me?
How about not committing those crimes to begin with, and then when do, why blame ones own immoral behavior on Republicans or 'the right'??
If anything, Republicans or 'the right' says not to do those things, then life wouldn't be screwed up to begin with.
Democrats want the votes of felons, but after vote, then what, they'll be buried and forgotten again....don't be used like that please.

Where I stay right now, as with last time, when I go to rural areas, all I see is Trump signs.

I may go vote today
I may go vote today, I've never voted at a public place before and only voted one other time before today, if I decide to vote at all.
I don't like crowds, and I don't like stupid people breathing on me.
And I don't really like fat chubby people who work for the Government and look at everyone else as if we're 'sheep'.
I'm no sheep.

I voted today
I voted today for the second time ever in my life, wow.
On the way to polling place, all I saw were Biden and Harris signs in peoples yards, not sure why. I mean these people all owned homes, which tells me they believe in safety and security, so not sure why they'd vote for Biden/Harris who will flood the streets with criminals, and defund the Police.
I voted for the candidate whom I feel will give me the most security going forward, or at least while they're in office.
I didn't vote for a party, rather I voted for a man.
I couldn't sit this one out, cause unlike the super wealthy, if things go to crap in America, I can't afford to just up and leave and move to Austrailia or Japan or Sweden.
Those nations don't play around with immigration, and unless super wealthy, they probably won't let you in.
Anyways I voted, I did my part, now lets wait and see.

Also, I don't understand all the fuss about voting, regardless of ones color, I mean it was simple as heck to do...I don't understand the whole 'voter suppression' thing, I mean if one has a brain, one should be able to vote.
No car?, Uber or Taxi then, or request mail in ballot (to late for that now but could have done it already).
And the list of approved ID's is long, every human being alive has a I.D., so that's no excuse either.
Democrats make it seem as if minorities are dumb as heck.

I think elite 'W' elected Democrats more racist than the Klan, if they think your average person of color is to low IQ to know how to vote.
Liberal elites love ending every argument by saying 'And it will disproportionetely effect blacks and people of color'...what an insult.
It's like Elite Liberals on the Left, I guess, think that black folks and people of color are retarded or something.
I don't even think the Klan thinks that harshly about people of color.

Do you really think voting even matters after today??
This current administration has done more to rip apart the fabric of this nation than any one single force before it.
America will never ever be the same, the trust is broken between the people and Government, after wicked people in government have decided to attack the former President, thus the voters who voted for him.
The devil has finally managed to hi-jack America.
