Ye, but sadly, social media still is the cheapest way to get yourself out there, your brand, your music, your videos, whatever, it's still the cheapest way to get self out there, otherwise have to turn to like the radio, which costs, or TV, which costs, or heaven forbid, old fashion news paper adds, but even most newspapers have moved online now, and no one, but no one reads old fashion print paper adds anymore.
So the only way to get self out there, if trying to build a brand, is still social media, even though privacy all but gone, not that can't use fake this or fake that, but sooner or later if want to profit from 'brand name', as in music artist or selling a product, or company, social media is still the easiest less expense form of self advertising, so just have to swallow the fact that it's not private anymore, and that Democrat crazies can come hunt you down and force you to take vaccine.
Half hobbitding on that last sentence, or am I?

I personally pity the person, any person, who'd be unlucky enough to prick me with a needle against my will.
Cause to me, that would be considered a act of war against my sovereign body.

Nor do I believe follower count numbers on twitter anymore.
I just don't see how some ordinary Joe Blow person could have like 1.2 million followers on twitter, yet some celebs don't even have that.
And then you hear how some celebs, who fall out of favor with twitter, will start losing followers?
How is that?
I mean when I follow someone on twitter, nothing ever makes my automatically unfollow them, so that tells me many followers on twitter are FAKE, their bots, or something, but not real, that's for sure.

I do kind of want to expand my social media presence though, or I should say expand my 'Brand'
I'm not just one thing, the 'Zone' is not just one thing, there's a whole lot of us inside of 'one'.
And life is short, the time to shine is short, and there's other alternatives than FB now or twitter or any of those other Dinosaur sites that were once cutting edge, but now purely political and very controlling.
The people who are getting 'internet rich' are those who have a heavy internet presence, cross platform presence, either in person or through different characters of self, branding, ect.
And many sites allow you to earn money based on views, YouTube use to be that way until google bought them, now it's all political, they decide who 'trends' or not.
Bottom line, life is short, so better shine while you can, and if no one else will shine the lite on you than you'd better learn how to shine the lite on yourself.
Cause when gone, no one will care.

When this section first begin, it was mainly focused on twitter, maybe FB to some degree, but since then way more social media sites have been born, and the game has changed a lot.
Now some sites allow people to monetize their accounts based on followers, views, ect, some are not making a living just off of social media.
As such views, attention, followings, have become big money and very competitive.
at first anyone could monetize their You tube channel, but now you need like 10,000 followers, all kinds 'like' posts and so forth, one has to basically be a celebrity within the social media world.
It's all changed, but still twitter really hasn't, twitter is still twitter basically, no way for users, creators, to monetize their accounts, you just tweet, post, and that's it, and they continue to 'mine' their users info, very basic social media formula.
Even I got caught up in the tiktok thing for a bit, but computer algerithyms mess with people big time on there, you get shadow banned cause algerythm thinks you did something wrong when didn't.
Now a ton of videos on YT telling people about shadow banning, and making money while doing it based on views, subscribers and more.
It can easily lure you in, young or old, I mean older people in their 50's, 60's even 70's all over social media now...in fact almost better for older people who just don't go out as much, or feel to ugly to, or ill, ect, makes sense that older people would use it also.
Not to mention many older people from generation where all this social media stuff started.
But they're not the masters of it like the younger generation who grew up knowing nothing but social media.
All I know is right now, today, I have to get some real life stuff done and lay off the social media for a while.

I need to wean myself away from social media, again
Social media is very easy to get lured into, especially if alone.
But it's oh so empty when you think about it, social media, even on the larger platforms like twitter, FB and the others, is basically like talking to yourself, impressing yourself, and thinking that you actually matter to others, but it's all an illusion, I mean unless those 'others' are supporting a product line of your, buying your book, ect, than it's all basically meaningless.
That being said, no one likes feeling alone or that they don't matter, and so social media does provide that false sense of mattering and that false sense of not being alone, when in fact it makes it worse, for instead engaging in the real world, working on real world communication skills, it's easy to retreat into social media realm where no skills are needed, just the need to be 'heard' is all that matters, even if by a 'bot'.

Social media seems both futile and a bit creepy to me right now Now that sober, more things I was fine with a few weeks ago now seem futile and creepy, including social media. Social media is futile and creepy, and guess many of us still under this notion that if good enough at it can make a living off of it, those days have closed, monetization not so easy anymore, they've really raised the bar on like YT, you need like a minimum of 10,000 subscribers ect. They've tightened the bar, made it beyond the reach of the average poster to even get views now. I'm glad I've never used my real name on any of it, and glad the images I do load unto social media never reveal my true face shot, it's always a distorted pic or action scene, but never as my 9-5 self. And I've never signed into any social media site using my real first and last name, why would I ever do that? Social media has always been a way of me escaping reality, not bringing it with me. Or better yet, it's always been a way of me being more plural and allowing other sides within to live, breathe and come out, where as in the 3d existence your one dimensional to others, no one gives you range, at least if like me. But if really cute to society, young and whatever, everyone praises you, heaps compliments onto you, even when you mess up, they still think you're cute, but when like me, you're just a monster to society, a menace to all. So why would I want to bring that which I'm not on the inside onto social media by uploading my every day 9-5 pic of self? Sometimes I wish a comet would just come hit the Earth and end it all for a lot of people. Or at least create enough disruption to break my daily routine, so can just roam around like in those post society apacolyptic movies, where people just roam, in search of food, shelter and avoiding apocolyptic creatures and zombies and other monsters. Anyways, time to lay back down, I feel like I'm changing on the inside, like physically changing.

My relationship to social media is becoming more distant, as of late.
There's really nothing social about it anymore.

10 reasons why one should stop using twitter - article ignitevisibility.com/10-reasons-you-should-stop-using-twitter/ Makes good sense to me, my posts actually get more views here in the Zone, than they do on twitter, which is way overly saturated with stuff, so the seconds after you post on twitter, your post is buried.

When been around real people, say at work, or at an event, then come home and get on social media, say twitter or any other type of site, it's then you realize how empty and shallow social media sites really are.
But sometimes we need that 'contrast' to remind us of that.

I once again unjoined two accounts on twitter.
It's like all they do is run 'recon' on you there, I mean you get followers, but the followers never engage you, once they follow you they become static and still.
And so yet you end up divulging stuff, personal stuff, for the world to see, utilize and use for whatever.
It just starts feeling creepy after a while.
So then you think to yourself 'well what's the difference between doing that there or here?'.
Here, more control I suppose. Here, there's not a bunch of creepy behind the scenes tech stuff occurring.
Twitter has become a pure political machine, with political interests, it's like they want to control your mind. And I tried selling stuff there, twitter is one of the worst places to market anything.
The lure is, that in the back of your mind you convince yourself that that's where everyone is, but not so anymore.
And it eats up a lot of your time, and once you post, the post immediately gets buried underneath other posts, so very few even ever see your post unless you # your post with a marker and hope someone looking up that key word.
It's just a waste of time, like a toy, and most of those on there are older people now, like in their 40's and above.
Twitter has become a old person social media site, the young have long since abandoned that place for like tiktok and other sites, and conservatives have fled also for like 'getter', and other such sites.
Regardless, those billionaires who run and started twitter will be just fine, regardless of what the rest of us do, they've all made their big tech money, it's the rest of us still scrambling around, we're the ones who have the uncertain day to day future.

Twitter is like a cigarette, you just get use to having it there, even though you know it's useless, even damaging, you just get use to having it there, so when quit, you do feel a bit of a void on the inside until fill that void with something else.

I think twitter is just an out and right evil place now.
I signed out, not sure if I'll sign back in or not.
Now that that place, twitter, is political in their aims, and have connections with seedy elite types who want to control the world, not sure if it's even good to be associated with that platform anymore.
Not only that but no one clicks on your stuff there, as in a store you may have, or podcast or book.
So here they are, tracking you on and off their site, people, so called 3rd party apps, getting rich off of our movement online, and we the users don't get a dime of that money.
It's all so sinister, the need for wealth just turns some people and agencies into very dark entities.
I've ended ties with FB over a year ago, now maybe time I do it again with twitter.
Mainly older people still bother with twitter, cause older people were 10 years younger, or so, when twitter first came out...

New CEO of twitter says their role is to focus less on 'Free speech' www.straitstimes.com/business/companies-markets/twitters-new-ceo-set-to-focus-less-on-free-speech Twitters new CEO, who is 'Indian' (Overseas Indian), plans on suppressing free speech even more and turning twitter into more of a Autocracy type of platform where only one point of view really allowed, just like in their native homeland. This is why American invented social media sites have all gone to hell in a handbasket over the years, cause these American born tech geeks started hiring and putting into positions of power, in their companies, foreign born people who don't understand 'freedom', or the U.S. constitution, and instead run social media as if and extension of their own home nations oppressive ways! And you wonder why pro American sentiment is banned or shadow banned, well this is why, cause the person who decides what is allowed or what's offensive, more than likely isn't even an American! And just read the article, this new Indian CEO plans on cracking down even more on thoughts that don't agree with his! And he wonders why more and more people are leaving twitter, which is becoming one big echo chamber for some billionaire 'reset' *Glenn Becks new book, order of things. "Think like us, think like we do, or else', type of global billionaire cult ideology. Who in their right mind would join a platform knowing ahead of time if you suggest something independent of their 'cult view', that your stuff won't get out? Keep it up twitter and continue to watch your platform fade from glory, as millions more continue to migrate away from your platform and to other places that allow for freedom of thought! Stop trying to run twitter as if it's you're own 'Indian' nation, where rights of others are suppressed.

Stop trying to run twitter as if it's you're own 'Indian' nation, where rights of others are suppressed. This new CEO of twitter doesn't realize people go where it's fun, not where they're going to be put into 'creative or expressive' chains, I mean what a dork, sure they may be super wealthy, but in my book they're simply a dork who'll further erode the credibility of twitter. I mean who the F joins a social media site knowing ahead of time 'OH Gee, I think I'll join twitter and enjoy the fact that my free thoughts will be suppressed?'...who does that?
Soon, twitter will only have bots on it, and media types, but no real people with real souls, full of diverse opinions about all matters, exactly what makes a social site fun.
