He's one of the founding members of the Guardian Angels, a self appointed crime fighting group of volunteers that was formed way back in the 1970's. He promises to reverse the current crime trend in New York and to stop the mass exodus of people fleeing that city and State. Former NFL running back, considering run for Georgia Senate seat www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/potential-herschel-walker-senate-run-in-georgia-raising-some-gop-concerns/ar-AALQ10o?ocid=uxbndlbing If I lived in Georgia, I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. But when read the article, you have some 'do nothing' establishment conservative types already saying 'He'll have to prove he's a conservative'...that's the exact same thing they said about Trump! Establishment conservatives and Republicans suck! Hershel, a Conservative?, have they heard him on Hannity's show over the years? Actually, I'd rather the guy just be common sense, than name by only plastic think tank, do nothing when in office typical lobbyist owned conservative. More on him to follow.

It's both sad and gross how quickly media people on the 'Left' turn on you, or people, if you happen to have a different opinion than them or run as a Republican, as Dr OZ is.
Dr Oz was a beloved figure for many for years, he helped many people, regardless of how they voted, and now just because Dr Oz is running as a Republican, the left, at least those in the media, have really ravaged the man even though he has ideas that will help everyone.
I actually hope he wins.

A black Republican running against a black Democrat, this race and or the outcome should be very interesting
Hershel is a man's man, he may not be Ivy league, but he's a mans man, for those into that, and as such he appeals to both back wood white conservative types, and urban black males.
Black females, you never know how they're going to vote, they usually like passive men, like Biden.

Kathy Barnette for Senate?? Nah. I think she's being pumped up by left wingers who know that she can't win in the general election do to her extremist views and words, about LGBTQ, Muslims, ect. She only gets a past for saying these things cause she's not white. If she was white, no one would even be taking her seriously. She's running in Pennsylvania for Senate.

Notice only candidates with personalities and personas larger than politics get posted here. Politicians should take note of that.
If you're a bland type, you won't get posted here, and I represent general voters or general public.
The general public just looks at most politicians as being bland and greyish, a blur in their life.

Not sure how Hershal is or was bad candidate...outside of core issues, I don't understand this good vs bad candidate people bring up. I mean the voters want what they want. The GOP is hogtied by this good vs bad candidate bs, as the ship continues to sink, for most.

And for the first time, I don't think Trump has a pray to win the next election, now that I see how deep political corruption runs, which extends far into the legal system now. Trump may get a lot of votes again, but the machine won't allow him to win this second time around.
To many people, shady players, corporations, the Cartel, China, you name it, are making way to much money under this admin to allow Trump to clean it all up again.

Yes, it always happens, these fortune 500 companies move in, come to a State, a City, and then eventually ruin it...look at Seattle, WA or San Francisco and other cities, Portland, OR. Ye sure, the first gen, or 5-10 they're silent, but it's always that second gen of managers, CEO's that become woke, and start effecting politicians, and elections, and policy, then comes unaffordable housing, then comes the homelessness, then comes the crime, then comes the 'soft on crime', ect. Everything is circular, and Florida is today, what California was 30-40 years ago. It's only a matter of time before Florida becomes the East Coast version of California.DeSantis only has a few years left, and I highly doubt his predecessor will be as anti-establishment as him, in fact I know they won't....and then the slide downward will begin, so enjoy Florida 'as is' while you can, for a few more years...cause after that, who knows.

Ron DeSantis should stop talking about slavery, it's a issue he cannot win, and one that probably has cost him the nomination as of now
I mean who advises these candidates?
Talking about slavery is a losing issue, sorry, it just is, and then trying to put a positive spin on slavery is even worse, cause it's the societal racism that went along with slavery that is the poison.
In order to enslave a people, based on race, you have to really think low of them. We all read books, study history, read the journals of those alive then, or even have or had older relatives that lived through some of the darker times in this nation (as far as colonial era racism, cause today's times are pretty dark to, but in different ways) And so people don't need Ron DeSantis trying to white wash what was a horrific experience for many...a demeaning experience.
'Err, dem slaves learned some good skills while being slaves that they could use when free'...huh?? That sentiment in and of itself is demeaning and gross... They already had skills, before hi-acked and sent to the Americas...and then stripped of language, culture and education for centuries, and then rebuilt into mindless human labor commodities. as if pets or something. Actually, most pets, back then, were treated better than slaves. Pets could go places, had access to buildings, properties, that slaves or black folks couldn't enter.
There's nothing good or redeeming about not so much slavery, but rather the mindset of 'whites' back then that made them feel slavery was justified cause 'well, these people were born to be our servants cause they're racially inferiors. And back then many used the bible to justify their reality.
Ron DeSantis couldn't survive one full day, let alone 1 hour, in the heat of Alabama out in a field, with bugs, while laboring for 12 hours picking cotton or anything else. So for him to try to put a positive spin on not only slavery but the ugliness of those who felt it was OK, totally makes him a automatic no vote for many people, and all his good policies get forgotten and that becomes the only issue the media will focus on.
Both Ron and Trump tend to attract the worst political advisors around them, for some reason.

1. Nikki Haily has such an annoying voice, and bickers to much, I will not be voting for them.
2. If they had spent the whole debate just discussing the border and crime, I'd of been satisfied.
3. Rick Scott, like Nikki H, loves to interupt people while they're talking, I will not be voting for him.
3. The Vick? (The Indian guy), I like his policies, but he comes off as being to hyper.
4. Chris Christie, would do a lot better if he'd stop attacking Trump.
5. Mike Pence, heck no, he'd better as a Presbyterian Pastor.
6. The Governor of N Dakota, not his time, good man, but I don't know, he doesn't have mass appeal.
7. Ron De Santis, I like him and his policies, wish he had just waited for Trump to call him up as VP.
8. I think Governors make better Presidents than Senators or Congressmen.
