Happiness is a medicine Happiness is a medicine, I notice that in own life, I really do, the happier I am, body seems to respond and my health just improves almost over night! When happy, it's like 'Hey, they want to live, so lets fight of sickness and disease and boost their immune system'... But when not happy, it's like same body is like 'Hey, they're sad and gloomy, maybe they don't want to live anymore, OK white blood cells, ease up on fighting germs and viruses'.. It's like your bodies immune system takes it's 'Q's from you and your mood and outlook on life. It's why one reason why when younger, can party and be wild and just nutty and still be healthy, why?, cause you're happier when younger (on average), life is still grand, you're still 'big', nothing can't be accomplished, and body responds to that. But when older, and if pestimistic by 'wear and tear', body's immune system slows down to match your own outlook on life (can't be scientifically proven, but can be proven with 'self') Sorry, but when happy, healthier...just look it up online. What makes you, us, me, happy? That's for you to decide. If you like to surf, than surf...make room for it in your life... If you like to fish, than fish, make room for it in your life. If you like to make whoopi, than make whoopi, make room for it in your life. If you like to fly airplanes, than fly airplanes, make room for it in your life. If you like to MC for comdedy clubs than MC for comedy clubs, make room for it in your life.. And so forth. Only you know what makes you happy, be happy, be healthy, and live a over all better quality of life.

Some one told me that drinking to much water can cleanse your body of important minerals the same way drinking alcohol does.
I haven't verified that, and it could be a 'myth', cause they did go on to say 'That's why I'm taking mineralrytes' or mineralites or whatever or however spelled.
So maybe someone told them to much water is bad, just to sell them minerlites as a suppliment.
I wish they had a suppliment that could help my spelling.

I notice I become more healthy when off work, or unemployed for 2 weeks are more
I notice that when I'm off work or unemployed for 2 weeks or more, I start getting into better shape, I guess cause when have all that time have less reason to not get in shape or work out.
It's phycological I do believe...in that when always working, and come home, you feel wore out, and so last thing you want to do is then workout.
Or if only have 2 days off ect, it's easier to want to drink and be like to self
'Heck, I've only got 1 day to have fun, I'm going to drink so I can escape'
But when not working for weeks at a time, things change, cause now you have 'time'.
And drinking is fun or seems to be, but only when done in a small window, but if off for weeks at a time, drinking all daya nd all night long stops becoming fun, and so one usually stops, at least I do, or cut way way back since no more work anxioty there.
I just notice with self, I compare the condition I'm in when start working again after 1 month off vs the condition when working a job steady for 9 months, and there's no comparison.
I always report to new job almost in athlete state, I'm just healthier vs how a jobs schedule slowly just wears you down after a while to wear lucky to get one workout in a week, and a poor one at that.
Just depends on what you do though, if a office worker it may be different for you, but I'm blue collar type, so lot's of physical and mental demands on the body and mind or people and or self can get hurt.
I think I'm about to take a long period off again, as in a month or so, and do look forward to getting back in decent shape.
submitted resignation letter this morning do to schedule change I'm unwilling to adopt to for health and safety reasons (that's for a different post).
I'm not a 'tool' for higher ups to use to generate more profit.
Let them earn their billions and billions, I'll never get a piece of that, all I want is my health, they can chove as much billion dollars bills down their throats till they choke...all I want is my health.

Learned this about grocery shopping habit
Here's what I learned about grocery shopping, saving money and eating less.
1. I use to think buying stuff by bulk (well for me that means going shopping once a week or so), but I use to think that saved me money by just buying all sorts of essential food as well as 'goodies' food so would have something to snack on.
But now I realize I was probably wrong to do that and here's why.
a. If not in fridge or cabnit than won't and can't eat, cause it's not there, food that is.
When we go out and buy extra 'snack food', then eventually we're going to eat it when bored, between meals ect, = weight and calories....but if shelves and fridge and freezer aren't stocked with 2 weeks or more worth of food, than you'll start thinking less about food, thus appetite will begin to drop = losing weight.
b. I find if I just buy for one meal a day, 2, ect, than save money actually and eat way less.
(none of this really applies if have like large Brady Bunch family, but I think fewer and fewer people have those kind of large families anymore, this mainly applies if single, living alone ect)
If I go shopping, I'll spend no less than $60 bucks buying stuff to last, no less that is, a month that's like $240 bucks minimum.
But I notice if just eat as needed, instead of buying as if planning on what I think I'll eat in the future, than my food expense drops greatly.
And no, fast food doesn't count, in fact is supstitute fast food for grocery shopping you'll probably spend more and get less as far as health goes.
Most people forget how little food we need to actually get by on, and most of us eat like it's our last meal on Death row or something, when it's not.
The only thing that really lures me into big grocery stores anymore is the produce section, cause can't get fresh produce anywhere else, well where I live you can, like roadside produce stands or Farmers market.
But ye, as long as I have fresh vegetables and fruit, I'm good, and that's mainly for lunch when at work.
One can of chili can be like 3 spread out meals for me, mixed in with some corn or ect, light salad, ect...just doesn't take much.
The days of bulk grocery shopping are done for me, of spending over 100 bucks on food, why?
Cause then going to eat all that food, and buy more to replace it, and you'll eat it simply cause it's there, but if not there, than can't eat it and will save money and lose weight.

I just took a enzyme nutrient pill, I ordered it online from Amazon along with another electronic product.
enzyme nutrient supplement suppose to help you digest foods more thoroughly.
We shall see, not that I need them, but why not try.
I think foods are so robbed of nutrients now days, supplements are probably more needed as we all age.
Time for bed, very long day.

Your body will tell you a lot if you listen
My body tells me that I really no longer need or should eat meat.
My body tells me that deli type fried chicken purchased at grocery store should not be eaten by me anymore, and that if I must have chicken, buy it raw and steam cook it with no grease or added anything, other than maybe some seasoning.
My body tells me that breakfast cereals no longer needed in my diet, I've known that for years though.
My body tells me hugging or getting hugged is a good thing, makes you feel alive, needed and wanted which makes your inner body fight harder to keep you alive and healthy.
In other words if affection were a 'food' it would be full of nutrients.
My body tells me that noise stress isn't good, and that industry is pollution.
Listen to your body, and you'll stay healthier.
My body also tells me getting up to go to work 5-6 days a week is very bad on health, will age you and have other bad effects, is why don't do that no more.
What does your own body tell you that you're either listening to or not?
Answer in your own mind.

My body is also telling me I don't need 'sauce' anymore, as in flavoring sauce we're so use to adding to food, as in Ketchup/Mustard, this sauce, that sauce ect.
My body is telling me that I don't need sauce anymore, and if do use, than use very small amounts.

My body is telling me the stuff, ingredients they put in potato chips not good either, my body is telling me I'd be more healthy than I am now if I stop eating potato chips of almost all kinds.
I don't know though, I think potato chips are as addictive if not more than tobacco.

Also, if you 'listen' to your body, you can feel you hair grow early in the morning between the hours of 3-8 am, normally most are asleep during this time (at least those with normal work schedule, or I should say traditional work schedule)
You can feel the hairs on your arm growing, itching a bit, cause not just is hair growing but your whole body is regenerating, healing, ect.
Is why so important to rest during these hours, no job schedule worth your health and is why I refuse to work any job that has me up during those hours, and those who do spend a life working those brutal early morning hours or waking up at like 3-5 to go to work, watch how fast they begin to age after say the age of 30 or so.
Those are the ones that age suddenly and quickly.
There are exceptions though.
But that aside, even now it seems the people around me are aging hyper quickly.
And speaking of health, I'm really wanting to see if women who have taken that 'V' word, if it will effect their fertility 9-12 months from now.
I'm still in no hurry to take that crap, even though not really suppose to say that.
But my own body and common sense health practices have gotten me this far, I don't need 'man' screwing it up, like man tends to screw up all things he touches or tries to alter.

Here's what my body is telling me now
I was suffering massive pain in like my left jaw area, I've never been to dentist in my life but felt like I should of gone, but didn't.
Here's what my body told me just by listing, and the problem was I was, believe it or not, eating to much fruit, mixed fruit, as in I'd by the fruit, then slice and dice various fruit and place in small container and then consume throughout the day, while at job..day and late night, early morning ect.
Well, I've figured out that ye it's fruit, but fruit, as I read once, also contains a ton of sugar, and that was my problem, I was consuming to much sugar plus taking vitamins on top of that, enzymes, which made body absorb even more sugar than it needed!
I know this cause kind of went on a 'fruit' fast yesterday, and that awful feeling of pain in left jaw and teeth area went away.
It was the fruit, or volume of it I was eating in combination with enzyme pills I ordered from Amazon, and enzymes help your body absorb more nutrients, fine, but that also meant more sugar was being absorbed and processed, way to much I guess, but not sure why it was indicated by the pain in left jaw area, that I don't know, as if dumping ground for 'toxic sugar waste' or something...I'll do research later.
Bottom line, once again I simply listened to body, and was willing to make adjustment to diet, rather than just run off to a doctor and complain, and then have them tell me something that wasn't true, or scare me, or give me some medication I did not need.
I healed self, again, simply by listening to body, rather than listening to some paid expert in the chain of fiscal medical exploitation.
At least that's how I see it....I mean sure the day will come, it comes for all of us, where self correction won't reverse whatever it is we have, but until then, I'll continue to listen to thy body and self correct when I can.
In my humble opinion and based on own health, 90% pf bpdoes health is based on what we consume and put inside of body, period..
The other 10% of health is based on mental stuff, social stuff, our moods, joy, ecmotions, our outlook and ect type of stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I still have bad habits I should stop doing, but as of now not effecting my health in immediate way, as in drinking from time to time and some tobacoo use from time to time.
But balance it out by doing other healthy stuff like excercising, and eating right.

Years and years ago when a hobbit in elementary school we went on a field trip
Yes ions ago, when a hobbit, we went on a field trip to a 'Senior home', and one thing that forever stands out to me about that trip is when they took us into the kitchen where they cleaned dishes, and showed us how it was done, and I remember asking the question
'Where's the soap or dish detergent?'
And they replied...
'We don't use detergent, we simply use hot water or 'steam' to clean the dishes'
Think about that long and hard folks, way back when I was a hobbit, long long ago, Senior homes, at least this one, did not use dish detergent, but rather steam cleaned dishes inside some type of washer thing which I still don't understand.
Point is what did they know about the use of detergents back then, that people of today have forgotten?
Did they not use detergent for health reasons or to save money?
I've never shared that until now, have kept it inside all these years, what did they know back then, and why did they not use detergent, but rather steam, to clean the dishes with, years and years ago.

My body is telling me to eat some red cabbage this morning with a tad bit of vinegar on it, and a few slices of onions...red onions, everything I'm eating right now is colored, the cabbage and the onion and a few slices of carrots in there...
I just put in a bowl, added some water and microwaved it for two minutes.
I dreamed of doing this earlier this morning while a sleep, and now doing it in real life.
Hopefully I don't 'gag'..
Added notes-
Actually I think this is one of the first times I've ever dreamed of something, than followed the instructions of the dream after waking up.
I may start listening to 'voice inside' more, like last night, 'voice' told me to take a particular route, but I didn't listen to voice, so instead ran into a 'detour' nightmare and was 30-40 minutes later getting back.
So maybe that 'voice' is our guide that, at least if a good person, need to start listening to more.
But if a bad person, probably best to ignore 'that voice'.
And I guess good or bad is based on a pattern of conduct, measured against biblical principles, or any other principles that makes it wrong to hurt others.
If you enjoy hurting others emotionally or physically, than the voice in your head is probably 'sour', but if you enjoy helping others emotionally or physically, than good chance the voice in your head is 'light'.

I think, know, my diet needs to radically change here soon, well it's already pretty much changed.
I just need to drop a few bad health habits and magnify the good ones, raw is better, the less sauce is better, hot dogs bad, to salty, fish better, steamed, red cabbage good, any vegetable in nature that's red or purple is very good, to much fruit, bad do to sugar content.
If bodies' immune system healthy though, and or say college aged, can absorb a lot of 'bad stuff' and not feel it, it's just when get older, or fighting off a cold or illness, that body becomes more sensitive to what you eat.
Or if drink a lot, what you eat when not drinking matters more, or even when drinking.
Liver health matters as you age, so does hobbitney health, and stuffing crap into your body that's unhealthy forces both to work harder as you age, and or less effeciently which will effect other areas of your health or immune.
And you don't really need expensive vitamins to be healthy, the trick is to not eat unhealthy and your body will pretty much do the rest, unless have some kind of medical issue, then of course that's a whole different ball game.
