Moving when poor Moving when poor

Ye I wanna move, but where to?
Ye I wanna move, but where to?
I mean the nation has changed so much from when I was a younger, a hobbit, or just getting out of high school.
Back then could actually move away from your past, now days that's impossible do to the internet and employment history, rental history, credit and everything else that follows you.
Then when poor and moving, there's always the employment issue.
Can't really move if don't already have a job awaiting you, as that will be question on new lease or house.
In the past, could just move first, then worry about all that stuff later, not anymore.
So now, I guess have to get self hired first, then move and or move into 'room' of someone else's place for a while until settled.
I really just want 'land', just give me land, and I'll be OK, cause in older years, as long as I have 3-5 acres of land or more, can live on that land and be OK, with or without electricity or running water.
So ye, I think it makes more sense for me to buy land, or make payments on land, than to just up and move to another apartment or finance house or rent a house.
I don't know.
Every things going up in price now, that I do know.

Two of my immediate neighbors are moving, cause they've gone up on rent, again.
Two of my immediate neighbors are moving, cause they've gone up on rent, again. Me, I'll probably stay a bit longer...I mean why not, where else will I go?
Rent is the same city wide now, so it would be like moving from one high rent place to another high rent place, what sense does that make?
Question is now, who will my new neighbors be? Will they be loud? I don't like signing a lease before knowing who your next neighbor will be. So far I've been pretty lucky as far a my neighbors are very quiet, or have been.

I was just in my neighbors place, they're a senior citizen, and needed help with something. But wow, the things people accumulate inside of places.
Seeing the inside of their place makes me want to get rid of even more stuff inside of mine. Stuff is meaningless, and 'stuff', just becomes an anchor to you as you age, prevents you from leaving when you should, and makes you sad when have to throw it all away or give it away.
They asked me if I wanted a few items, I said 'no thanks'.
I had a 'get rid of all excess junk' day or few days, about 6-7 months ago, and still need to clear some stuff out. I don't even have a living room couch anymore, got rid of the old one and was like 'Ah, do I really need another one?'
I never have guest anyways.

The only way my rent would go down, if I moved, is if I moved into someone room, as in 'room for rent', type of deal. I did that years ago, not sure if I could do it again. When I first started posting on here I was much more 'hippie'/street/hardy, but now I've gotten a bit settled, use to my privacy now, use to running water, a toilet (two), a kitchen, full sized fridge, not sure I can go back to living like a gypsy...but one day I may have to, like many people are now.

Where I stay now, is going through the same change other places are, rent goes up, people move out, others from out of state move in
Yep, same cycle, but for some reason I've out lasted many who were here when I first got here. And I'm not rich, but not fiscally hurting either, I've got a small cushion I suppose.
One day I know I will have to move though, but where? Right now I live in Florida, where rent used to be really cheap, but now everyone and their Mamma is migrating here, so everything is going up, soon living in Florida will be as expensive as living in California. That sucks.
I wish rich, Ivy league types wouldn't move here. Going forward, I just don't know what I'm going to do. Maybe I'll win the lottery and just won't have to worry about it...ye right.

They keep raising rent. With so many people flooding into Florida, and corporations also, that bring 'wealth' with them, that's bad news for check to check types cause the price of everything just goes up.
Rich people are a pain to me, cause wherever they move, they drive working class types out.

I don't even know if I still earn enough to stay where I'm at, no one has checked in over a decade, but this latest leasing company now wants to see proof of income. I've got good relations with the office, but if I don't qualify, oh well, maybe it's time I move on.

I'm not so afraid of moving anymore
Heck, if I have to move, I have to move, oh well. It scared me at first, but now, over the last 3 weeks, done nuked the idea of moving so much that not much fear left, it is what it is, and the move will probably do me some good.
When younger, I told self would never allow self to get bogged down in life, in one spot, cause that means a slow death.
Moving, moving around, keeps you fresh, alert, and open to new ideas, people, opportunities, and that's what an invigorating life is about. So if I have to move, fine. I'll simply find a rental house or home, cause can't do the apartment thing anymore.
With apartments come to many B women, who have thug hobbits, and or who attract thug boyfriends, who bring car break ins, crime, litter, ect.
So, if going to move, I'd rather just rent a nice small cozy house with a backyard.
We shall see.

Yes, to younger 'B' thug types broke into my car the other night, and then ran right past my security camera, so yes, I have them on tape, but it was dark so can't really see identifying traits, I just know they were black. But my security camera caught them in the act, luckily nothing in car of interest to them.
But my gosh, the stereotypes are true, cameras don't lie.

Republicans want more babies to be born, well, with this new crime wave, I want less babies to be born, unless by married couples who know how to be parents.

May not have to move now, just got notice that rent is actually going down, not up, as originally notice stated. Something odd is going on. Or maybe they, someone, listened to message I left on answering machine.
This is not the best area, and there's a thing called rent threshold, in that regular hourly class people can only afford to pay so much a month in rent before no one will be able to rent here and you all will have more empty apartments than lived in ones
And I told them that if people could pay more, why would they move to this area of the city?
So maybe they listened to my voice message, who knows, all I know is suddenly the rent they're offering me is cheaper than it was about a month ago or so.

Hmm, a house?
Suppose to get a call from someont tomorrow who could possibly help me get a house, we shall see. I had a place years ago, but walked away from it...like 2 acres and a 3 bedroom singlewide trailer, I kind of miss that place, when land was still cheap.
I've made so many mistakes in my adult life, so many strategic logistical/fiscal eras, cause I just never had anyone with smarts in my life advising me.
but ye, a house, now, at my age?...hmm
Either way though, until dead have to pay rent, so why not 'pay rent to self' as this radio show was telling us. Hmm, we shall see.
I house would be cool.

If I got my own house, I'd rent every room out, and not have to pay anything.
