Had a taste for some dill pickles, so went out and got some While shopping, and walking past the pickle section of isle, I suddenly developed a taste for some dill pickles, and so I bought some, with olive oil in it. And boy, do they taste good, only ate two slices though, maybe 1.4 slices.

I have a taste for some dog gone raisons right now, but there's none around here I really could use some raisons right now, my body is saying 'Eat some raisins'. But there is none around here, but there are grapes in the fridge, and I know raisins are dehydrated grapes. Oh well, maybe I'll eat a grape instead, or a few.

Well, I did go out and actually get some golden raisons, and they're very delicious, very much so. And I bought some more dried cranberries as well. But now that I crave it, seems everyone else does, cause my organic cranberries were sold out, so I went to the raison section and to my surprise in the raison section there were dried cranberries also. They taste so delightfully good together.

If you keep telling others how wonderful tasting dried cranberries and raisons are together, people will rush to buy them all up, and then there will be a raison/dried cranberry shortage, so please stop mentioning it.

Well I have a question of inequity, and that is how come plums, when dehydrated, get their own cool name known as 'Raisons', yet cranberries when dehydrated are just called 'dried cranberries?
I mean why can't dehydrated cranberries be called something cool also, like maybe 'Craisons'?? or 'Craysons'??
Am I the very first on the planet to ever suggest that? dehydrated cranberries deserve their own special name to, in my humble opinion.

I have a hunch raisons were created by accident, when probably a farmer had a drout, no rain for a year, and all his poor raison dried up on the vines, well the farmer thought all was lost until some tourist ate some, like it, bought a bunch. That's when probably a lightbulb went off in farmers head. then the farmer probably picked all the dried raison from the vines, took them to market, and did well. I think and suspect that's probably what happened. I think raisons were invented by accident.

Don't really have an appetite for anything this morning.
My mind is imagining food I should or could eat, but my gut is not interested.

This is going to sound gross to some, but I think I'll mix together some coffee, and onions and garlic and honey, all in one drink.
The garlic/onions/honey, already in own container, will simply mix it with some coffee and heat it up...why?
I don't know, homemade medicine, I guess, we'll see.

crackers, yellow raisons, hamburger meat with spaghetti sauce Yes, crackers, yellow raisons, and ground beef with spaghetti sauce. Get the cracker, place a spoon full or so of hamburger meat on the cracker, cover the surface of it, then place a few yellow raisins on it, and you have a delicacy invented by the 'Zone'. And also, according to what I just found out, yellow raisins soaked in gin helps relieve arthritis. That's interesting, but if a alcoholic, you might want to try a different remedy.

I have a taste for pickled, jarred, red beets Probably natural beets would be better, either way, I have a taste for some, and do know that beets are loaded with all sorts of naturally healing substances. Questions is, will I get off my lazy butt and go get some? I think when your body gives you a taste for something, it's for a reason, unless it's junk food.

Raison's in hamburger meat actually tastes pretty good, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if some up and coming chef borrows food ideas from this section, just hopefully they'll give 'the zone' credit for it, I doubt it though
