When you live in the south, you just sometimes dread walking into the kitchen at night and turning on the lights, cause of the roaches you may see all up on your counter.
Why would a good god create roaches?.
How are roaches apart of the 'will of god'?

Hate walking into the kitchen after dark, cause you never know what's going to be there when you turn on the lights...

Insects need to stay the F outside...if inside, they're fair game for destruction. My being nice to certain insects' side of me has ran dry long ago.

I know one thing, there's no way I could live in any jungle.
Even in the city, at dusk, if near vegetation, here come all the biting bugs, it's a terrible feeling being bit all over and itching. I can't imagine how the early settlers did it, or the native Indians. I mean obviously you get used to it, but think how rough their skin must have been to adapt to that lifestyle of living outside or in huts all the time. I'm older, but my skin still soft as a baby, well not quite, but tell that to the misqitoes.

I think life was hell for most people living before say 1950, and got worse the further back you went. Sure, royalty lived good, high society lived good, all those we now read about in history...but for your average low class peasant, I'm sure life was hell, with a few maybe good years when young.

Tonight, for some reason, has made me really appreciate modern comfort, that's for sure.

I ordered a indoor bug zapper, not sure what took me so long to do so. Get tired of seeing nats fly in front of my computer screen at night.
