Blue collar blues Not feeling so excited about tomorrow, or next week, or the week after. That's my own fault though, in that have nothing opportunistic planned. In a funk. Just want to work, do minimum, and then come home and forget about earning and just live. Motivation can be hard to come by at times. You need a team of equally excited people around you spurn you on, or a good friend, or spouse ect. All the above usually follows success, but until successful it's hard to attract any of the above. They years when I was motivated, full of zest, mental energy, just never seemed to be able to surround self with a team of friends or equally enthused people. So plans never went anywhere. Looking back, one of many things I learned is that in this world, it's hard to do anything alone. It can be done, but takes a lot of zest. You basically still have to end up 'screwing' your way into other already established circles who have access to resources and know how and finances, but to just do it alone is near impossible now days. When you stop dreaming, life stops becoming fun. Myself above, when I use to 'Dream', was never happy or content with 'now' and always wanted more, always trying to push the envelop of self expression and art, and career or careers or business. But once you stop dreaming, have no more stake in prosperity, all that begins to go away, and if not careful environment will begin to shape you into a lifeless, joyless blob of nothing. If I had 1/10 the love most get, I could conquer the world and do amazing things. 1/10!! But when alone, it's hard to do any of that, almost have to invent characters that 'Love' you and care for you, since no one in real world, outside of work, does not. People use you for a ride here, a ride there, a favor here a favor there, but totally not interested in your personal prosperity. I suppose I could go out and create a new social circle, but my days of wanting to socialize are near done. Home is where I find peace, not 'out there'. I need more, or will eventually hit bottom, fiscally, just not motivated yet to 'fight', to turn it around like Rocky did in his movies, but he had 'Adrian', what if there is no Adrian in your life, then what? These posts are reality based, so don't always expect a happy ending or some magical solution. Just honest thought, and nothing more.

In a 'off' mood, body feels lethargic, not very exited about anything at the moment.
Not enthused about work today, the first 4 hours goes fairly fast, the second four hours feels like 8 hours.
I don't even care about over time anymore, it's just mindless labor to me to which I really have no future stake in.
Unless your own personal business, that's yours, it's just mindless labor.
But that's not it, not what has body feeling lethargic, think I just need rest, one of those evenings where for whatever reason, just need rest, like a 12 hour reset, a Sabbath during the work week.
Last night was hyper, mentally, lots of movement I guess, or mental movement and guess every now and then just need a 'reset', rest, where you do nothing.
And it's important to listen, cause when you don't immune lowers and you get sick.
Whatever projects I think I need to work, chores need to do, one evening of not doing them isn't going to effect much.
Actually I think I know what it is, or could be...
Grapes, the pesticides on the grapes I bought and didn't really wash.
I know that's going off in completely different direction, but through deduction, the last time I've felt this way was when I ate grapes, so stopped eating them, not that grapes are bad, but the powdery crystal dust of pesticide residue on them is.
I need to continue this in another section about health.

It really does suck working full time, and still not being able to pay billsIt's easy for millionaire talk radio hosts to always blast raising the minimum wage, when they have millions in savings, multiple houses, homes, mansions, some own private Jets, their lives are paid for 20 times over. But for the common working labor class, just one extra dollar an hour, over a month, can help pay for auto insurance, or groceries or this or that. When an hourly wage earner, your 'efforts' matter not, for no matter how hard you labor in an hour, you pay is the same. You get rich by selling stuff, not by laboring for a fixed wage. The richest people on the planet are those who sell stuff, whether cars, stock commodities, Real Estate and so forth, cause selling stuff allows you, if skilled, to earn for and above what simple hourly labor could ever earn you. I come home tired, and when you get older, you just don't have the stamina or energy to go back out and work another job, cause you gave it all to your day job, so come home spent, exhausted, as it should be. Usually people who work 2-3 jobs at once aren't working 'labor intensive' type jobs, cause just one labor intense job will eat up all your energy. I mean like try working construction during the day, and then bagging groceries for 4 hours at night. Maybe if 18-24, still have stamina and enough positive outlook on life to do that, but as age, not so. The only second job I could handle is one at home, selling stuff, or some online job, it would have to be the total opposite of laboring day job. I owe I owe I owe, so off to work I go, but still does no good, cause I 'owe I owe I owe'...snow white jingle. If didn't have a conscious, could probably lie, and get 20,000 dollars worth of credit, then again another point. In this world being honest, following biblical rules, just seems to get you trampled. No one cares that you're honest, no one, not banks, lenders, no one, they simple do not care. Either you have money, or say you do, or you don't, and if do not, doors of opportunity slammed in your face. As such, people without moral ethics learn how to play them, how to lie, how to 'fix papers', and get approved and then agency that approved them gets ripped off. In the mean time, you, or honest people who don't do that, apply for 'help', and get turned down do to being to honest...wow. The lesson some learn from this is that if you lie in this world, you will be rewarded.. But if you tell the truth about situation, even though have good decent heart, you will get crushed, and ignored by those in positions to help you get to higher level. Sadly, almost impossible to get ahead anymore unless lie, or exaggerate and say what lenders want to hear. I pray to 'God', seems to do no good, always at the very bottom of life, stressing month to month. But you 'lie', instantly given $2000.00. What kind of lesson is that? I mean what if no after life, than what were you 'good' for?... Anyways, getting off track, time to settle in and do other things..later

Working hard, and or hard work, does not make you 'rich' or 'successful', as long as doing so for another or employer
This 'lie' designed to keep a population 'passive', and always in the state of 'what if', is not true, and that lie is 'working hard will make you wealthy'...BS, rather working hard will make the company you're employed with wealthier, or companies investors wealthy, but not you.
If you make $9.58 an hour, no matter how hard you work, your hourly wage does not change, you make 9.58 an hour whether sitting in chair, or busting your but to exhaustion.
Working hard has zero to do with building wealth, when employed to an entity.
Working hard, really only pays off if..
1. Trying to build own business
2. Sales person, car sales, Real Estate, Stock market, Insurance ect, in that your efforts determine what you make, no cap on earnings.
3. Athlete, if one is an athlete, than of course ones one physical ability directly equates into income
4. Working hard pays off also, if already in upper management and liked by 'Team Manager', who's looking to promote you anyways if you can produce good numbers.
And a few more examples, but if just a common labor type, retail store type, warehouse worker type, sorry, but just working hard won't ever get you rich.
Bills are bills, and fixed income is fixed income.
One can work to exhaustion every week, and still be poor, if on poverty salary.
If just working hard meant you'd get ahead in life, become a millionaire, than half of U.S. population would be millionaires.
Instead, the reality is, you have people in their 50's and 60's now, who've worked hard their whole lives, and still forced to work cause haven't saved up enough to be able to retire, and will most likely die on the job trying to earn enough to pay bills.
Working hard, gets you know where, but 'scheming' does.
The riches people in the world are hard schemers, not hard workers.
Those who scheme, plot and plan, get ahead in life, not hard workers at the warehouse, who earn just enough to pay for apartment rent, cable, phone, auto insurance and other basic stuff.

4 day work weeks going forward, no matter what
Like posted above, 'working hard doesn't make you rich, physically working hard simply increases your chance of injury and wears body down while still receiving low pay'...
Is why going forward, 4 day work weeks only...even if have to combine to seperate jobs together, no more than 4 days...with 3 always off in a row, cause the older you get the more you need that extra time to recover and to seek out other passive income streams.
Passive income means income you don't have to physically labor for...those are the people who are smart, like the owners of websites, blogs, forums, ect...they're the smart ones, or people who have learned how to monetize youtube and ect.
Those of us who still think it fruitful to lift a shovel everyday, we're the ones still living in the stone age of income earning.
I don't need 3-4 jobs to 'make it', screw that...I just need 4 days a week, and 3 to recover, 3 to live and enjoy life again in whatever way I chose.
And I'll age, get old, at exact same pace, or maybe even slower pace, as the one hussling 3 jobs and working late...or even the rich executive type stressing over being a millionaire and not a billionaire...
Well all reach the age of 50, one day, at the same time, only I'll have peace of mind and rest, and body will still be fit and young, and no stress wrinkles.
If I can't make it on 4 days a week, than how can I make it on 5?...is How I see it.
I'm simply slowing the world down to my speed and convenience, rather than wearing myself out trying to keep up with the world...
Much more to follow.

I observe folks who work 'hard' all their lives for slave labor, for billion dollar companies, and in the end all these people meet same fate...their bodies wear out and they get sick and then die...

4 day work week for now on
I told current job that I only wanted a four day work week for now on.
I just got sick of wearing out body over 5 days, then only having two days to recover, and like I told them
'I could work this schedule for next 20 years, and still be poor and broke'
So what's the point?
But what I can do over the next 20 years, ect, is start taking it more easy on my body so I can glide into old age without issues.
I see people who labor all their lives, and this is what I see.
1. They still retire near broke, or have to go back to work, and end up dying on the job.
So what's the point?
Prices going up quicker than wages are (for hourly or day labor types.
My rent has gone up near $300.00 in a few years, but I'm not earning anymore.
I mean go figure, prices on food, rent, ect, keep going up but average peoples pay does not...I guess soon all will be forced to live in a tent city.
So the heck with it, I only want 4 day work weeks now, and will figure out how to earn passive income during off time. I mean I'm just tired of laboring just to labor, thinking that some day it'll pay off, cause it won't or ever will....I'll simply get old while still laboring.

I break it down like this when it comes to paying bills, there's a few essential things I must have to survive in this society.
1. A roof over me head, for sure (that roof could be apt, house or vehicle)
2. Transportation of my own = Car or motorcycle, or even scooter I suppose.
Everything else is secondary after the above to.
In other words I can survive inside of apartment, if need be, without electricity if had to, cause at least I'd have shelter, I mean better than sleeping outside.
And as long as I have reliable transportation, a car, even if lose apartment or house, at least have place to stay.
So that's how I justify making car payment, I suppose.
Also transportation means accesability to employment or even self employment with all these Uber type delivery jobs now days.
It sucks one even has to think this way now days...I mean to be working full time, and still have to stress over the day when full time income not enough to pay the bills is scary, but a reality for many.
If working full time is not enough to pay basic bills, than maybe raw capitalism isn't any better than Communism
I mean even many living under Communist China, are less needy than the working poor in America.
Seems even modern day Communist societies like China are more fair about how people get paid than raw Capitalist are...hmm

4 day work week still
I still love working 4 day work weeks, I work hard for those 4 days though, athlete hard, and come home near exhausted.
But it's funny, cause on Saturday, today, it feels like Sunday, in that conditioned to only having 2 days off in a row, so start getting that Sunday blues feeling until remind self
'Hey, it's only Saturday!'.
I just got lucky, I suppose, I mean not many places would honor such a request, most places could care the less about your own ambitions or health, if you can't work like a slave for them, wear body out for them, they'll just hire another who will.
But I"m never going back to 4 day work weeks, even if have to work at Temp place, or drive for Uber or combine other delivery contract jobs together or whatever, lifes to short to simply work yourself into bad health just to still end up broke.
All this being dedicated to the company BS is meaningless if they're not going to pay you enough to thrive, and if they can't than they shouldn't complain you request a personalized schedule.
Anyways, I'm wasting time, there's things I need to be doing instead of typing on here, like cleaning, looking for ways to earn passive income and more, and or even adertisers for my podcasts.

Finally off...some employers have no idea how much their work environment stifles the creativity in some or many, nor do they care.
First evening off, just gotta let all the work gunk, meaningless labor odor, slowly bleed off, as creative self begins to wake up again, like a flower blooming in the morning.

I'll be going back to work today, probably about 70% day.
Been off since Friday, in that been getting 3 day weekends by request.
Owner doesn't really like it, but it's my energy and health that's at risk, not theirs, and they can 'let me go' when ready, and that very well could occur after new year.
I've already gotten myself use to earning less than nothing, so to change jobs won't be a big income shock.
Life is short, healthy life is even shorter, and this idea that you must work until body breaks, is a sad one to me.
I already see so many people in the blue collar world, with years to work, walking around with limps or injuries, how depressing.
Even in ancient times or villages, you slowed down as you aged, but not in America, where everyone is a slave wage and so have to basically work to in hospital or lose everything.
America is a great system, if you have a ton of money and always years ahead of your bills, then America can seem like Disneyland, but when living check to check, America can seem like the horror dome.
Well, off to work soon, knowing that regardless of my efforts today, nothing will change.
I'll help a billion dollar industry with my labor, and in return, nothing.

You come home tired and beat, energy is not infinite[/font
You come home tired and beat, and the 'desk' class of employed seem to forget that energy is not infinite.
The 'desk' class of worker is the whip of the investor class.
But look, you come home tired and just worn, at first not so much, but as you age, more and more do you come home tired and worn, and then begin to realize 'I'm not going to last or make it?'.
In that you begin to realize you have more years of life, just being alive, than you do of healthy productive life.
In other words rent, mortgage, bills, insurance, ect, don't care that you're, we're, all getting older, tired and then sick...it don't matter, the 'system' is heartless, all it wants is money.
Those who get paid millions to be talk radio hosts, or other professional opinion big mouths, seem to have no idea how hard labor is on the body, say once above the age of 40.
Their stupid responses are.
'Well, just go back to college and get trained in something different'.
Hey, college costs money, and takes time, and as working adult, who has the time or money to go to college, pay for college, when can barely keep up with current bills?
Apply for grant?...Sure, why not, but those forms can be so complicated most give up on that.
Loan?
If it takes a 18 year old half a life to pay back college tuition, what bank will loan that type of money to someone over 40?
Me, myself, I'd love to be a air traffic controller (very needed), but again, it's all about time and money, and as one ages very hard to work full time hours, for bills, and then go to school full time...when very young can do that, but as age, if want to remain healthy that is, you need your REST.
And trying to get by on 4 hours of sleep per night for 1 year, or however long school lasts, could be enough to break someone health.
Usually those who go back to school at older age are
1. Married, thus their spouse can cover them, has their back, two incomes better than one, when poor.
2. Get some kind of special grant or scholarship
3. Inherit money from dead relative
And so forth.
Or just have a ton of money in savings. But going back to school for someone living check to check...hmm, good luck.
The above are things people think about when either have no hobbits or if did, hobbits grown and adults and out of the home, and or single or divorced.
But if in happy marriage, I doubt will be able to relate to the above.

You know you're becoming a mindless labor zombie that when get home, or are finally off, don't really know what to do with self, just kind of sit there in a brain freeze.
And that's what this system wants, for the labor class to not derive meaning of life outside of working for near poverty wages, that's what they want.
To keep people stuck in perminant underclass status so will continue to show up to deadening, meaningless labor job.
Anyways, I'm off now, 3 day weekends for as long as it will work, as long as employer allows, and when they don't allow, than sadly I'll have to forge my own limited life's reality by finding place where it will work (have already sought other options).
Bottom line, this whole lie about working will pay off, is just that, a lie.
Just look at all the laid off Federal workers, and how many of them living check to check like most other people.
I mean why work if only and always a few weeks away from nothing?
What a sham, billions of dollars floating around economy, yet look how little of it trickles down, in the form of decent pay, to those who create conditions for those billions to be generated, and for society to be stable, and collectively as consumers, money always flows up, greed prevents it from flowing down, I don't care what Limbaugh the dunce says.

Today really proves to me why I only need a 4 day work week. (of course it depends on what you do, labor vs career you or one loves)
But today really proves why I need a 4 day work week, not just every few months, but every week going forward, as long as possible.
1. You just come home to tired and exhausted to utilize much of the first night.
I mean if today was Friday, I'd be even more exhausted, mind would be even more tired, but it's not, it's Thursday, but still pretty much a throw away night or evening which spent the bulk of online with 'tech'.
But instead of tomorrow being Saturday, tomorrow is Friday, thus I get a full day to recooperate before Saturday even arrives.
I've done the math, and figure if can't make it on 4 days, than 5 days isn't going to matter, I mean to just work just to work, that's what a mule does.
My job will not extend my healthy life, or resurrect my life when gone, so why should I be a slave to work?, especially if hard work 'DOES NOT PAY OFF' in the least slightest bit as far as prosperity goes.
Hourly wage is hourly wage, regardless of how hard you work in a hour, so what.
Burn as many calories as you want in an hour, and pay stays the same.
Hourly wage is not how people get ahead in this world, getting paid a large salary is what propels people to wealth and comfort, not physical labor.
My eyes have been opened, time for some rest.
