When you get older you really do get burned out on mindless labor work, particularly if in blue collar arena.
You begin to realize all the lessons told to you when younger about 'just work hard' and you'll get ahead, are kind of bogus.
I work less now, not harder, in that the older you get you begin to realize that no amount of wages earned in one day, can properly compensate you for your time, for when your time is gone, for sure money can't buy it back.

4 day work weeks...period from rest of life till grave.
I'm the opposite of most, most feel they must work self to exhaustion, work self to bad health, while still never achieving anything...........me, nope.
If one job won't do, I simply rebel and make it do.
Only a few will get that.

Help me to understand You're only obligated to self (or if have family than to them) It's trickery by the powers that be, this idea that you can labor yourself to prosperity. Prosperity comes from being 'content'. That's all I have time for right now.

If I had to work tomorrow, my mindset would be totally different right now. As posted on other section, no one can ever earn enough money to live forever on this earth.
When you realize that, it really does put things in perspective for you.

Corporate types are really sick to me, they're human, yes, but think they're more, cause they command more cash flow or money, but they're still human.
They work for firms which funnel billions, yet OK with only paying employees 3rd world wages...
Get the F out of our faces...your day will come.
Heartland for life...

Unemployed right now, by choice
Unemployed right now, by choice, in that company I was with got 'bought out' by another company, but division I was in got phased out and all me and a few others were doing is basically standing around all day looking for stuff to do...
It's more complex than that of course, but bottom line is I'm unemployed, but not worried or stressed in the least bit, cause wasn't getting ahead at last job, so use to being poor, scraping by.
Although next job should bring me in better revenue in that no longer care about 4 day work weeks, not until get myself fiscally ahead again.
But I'm not happy or sad about it, haven't even began looking for another job yet, cause I already no there's 100's of jobs out there that I qualify for, but like a marriage, I've learned its bad to rush into another job just out of panic, cause then a few months later will want to quit.
I've changed over the years, we all do, in that being 'off' use to make me really excited, like skipping a day of school use to, but when near broke all the time, there's really no incentive to go out and have fun, but rather stay home or in and just be a maid or butler to self by cleaning up.
The worst part about being poor though, is not the fiscal aspect, but rather not being able to up and move away from people you don't want to be around.
Now days it's hard to make a move for under 3 gran
Now days it's just hard to up and move for under 3 gran when all said and done, even a cross town move can be fiscally devestating.
And when living in apartment, you have no control over who leasing office will move in next to you.
I've had a few bad neighbors that you just want to _____ through the wall just to be rid of them (in your mind).
Younger SBF's are the worst neighbors to have, why? Cause they're rude, arrogant, loud, love to slam doors, and always attract unemployed street thug type boyfriends who come around late at night with their pals and created havoc....
I see this pattern over and over and over again. So no matter where you move, there's no garuntee that leasing office won't move a SBF next to you do to vouchers or whatever.
They always say younger males need Fathers, well I say younger BF's are hurt by not having Fathers as well, and I can tell those who did, and didn't grow up with stern male figure in the home..the behavior is like night and day.
And many of them are just programmed by their environment to just be rude, and no amount of reasoning or logic will change that...it's like talking to a wall.
Example...'Could you please not slam the door'...(They're response) 'Who you is to tell me what to do, you don't own me m/f, It's my door, I'm paying for this door and will slam it as I please'...
End example.
It's not until they're older and fat, and sick, do they begin to mellow but never ever look back in remorse of how terribly they treated others when they were young.
Instead now that older, sick and fat, now once again want others to cater to their needs, even though they didn't when younger.
Anyways...I'm unemployed now, have a chance to steer life in different direction, so gotta take my time here in finding a job that works for me, rather than me just showing up daily to be poor and broke throughout the year.

No wonder so many would rather just stay home and get unemployment
No wonder so many would rather stay home and get unemployment when you look at wages today.
3rd world wages, and google, which owns YT, no wonder they don't allow videos like this to be found. Instead people wrestling with pigs have like 60,000 views, or people spouting off useless top 10 lists, stupid stuff is what gets promoted on YT, stuff that keeps the population big, where as now you can't find actual, educational stuff that rats out the system, cause they're all in bed together now.
Keep the masses entertained and dumb, is their motto

And right now, 'C' word not causing me any stress, what others, the masses, going through right now is just another day for me, normal.
Uncertainty is normal for me, I guess I never realized how detached I am from how normal person functions and relates to world around them.
(actually I think more people are like me than what the media would have you believe)

I really hope I get this one job where you work for like 3 days, than off for 4, all while getting the same hours as one who labors for 5.
I mean that's about the most I can ask for at this stage, I mean obviously never going to get fiscally rich or wealthy laboring for another, or a company, so the next best thing to me is 'time', precious time to do what I want, while still earning a regular income.
I mean isn't that really what the wealthy enjoy more so than other people, is 'time'?
Their wealth buys them 'time', time to live, to explore, to vacation, to live as meant to live without worrying about paying rent or other bills.
Give me 'time', and I'll feel rich, won't feel squeezed all the time.
I mean there's no sense showing up to any place 5-6 days a week, that's exploitation.
Cause every time you have to get up and go to work, drive to work , take bus or subway to work, you're spending money in fuel, wear and tear on vehicle, or bus/transit fare, lunch, and other stuff you buy when just out and about that you wouldn't if home.
I can't tell you how much money I've saved over the last Month or so simply by staying home.
I save at least 100 a week, at least, in expenses associated with just getting up daily, gas, food while at job, junk food, this and that.
So to only have to report to a job 3 days a week instead of 5, that in itself = savings.
And it's just safer, cause you cut down risk of getting in accident, or getting sick, or injured on the job.
The less movement, the better, you learn that as you get older.
I mean when you've stopped searching for 'Love', and realize that no matter how much you labor you're not going to get ahead, showing up to work just to show up, becomes pointless.
Unless you're lucky enough to actually have a decent paying career you planned for by going to college, or unless you're a business owner, and so forth.
Or unless make a gob of money like an athlete under contract.
But if just showing up to some low wage manufacturing company earning pennies, what's the point...may as well live in China or something, where at least the cost of living is less.

About to start new 3 day work cycle and just getting off 4 days rest, that's a lot of rest. Every week will be like a vacation now at end of 3rd day....a dream schedule basically, one I think more companies should do, I mean there's really no point in showing up at a job over 5 days a week, that costs money for the employee, working does cost money, and since being off for previous 2 months I probably saved around 4-5 hundred dollars from not working! There's a lot of expenses involved in getting up 4-6 days a week and going to work. So ye, I lucked out with this new schedule in that part time schedule yet full time pay and benefits, if I want them. My theory has always been better semi retire before you retire, while still healthy and fit, and can enjoy time off without medical issues. I realize now you just can't physically labor yourself to prosperity, unless place you're working for pays you a lot of money, or unless invest in Real Estate while young, ect...but still it won't be your labor that makes you rich, rather your investments. What few years I have left of relatively decent health, I want that 'time', that 'health' for myself, why should I give remaining years of health and vitality to a company? Unless that company willing to set me up for life with decent pay, if not, what's the point. Anyways, one more quick shallow nap, and then it's off to perform my duties.

I'm wore out, I'm glad only have to work 3 days a week, cause just the act of getting up and prepping for work, winding down from work routine, can begin to wear you out. Lunch, grooming, other misc prep stuff, then the drive, the gas, it's just to much to do 5-6 days a week unless really love what you do.
Glad I only gotta do it 3 days now...anyways it's late, I'm done for the day, body says rest.

The biggest obsticale to (or however spelled) to having 4 days off in a row, is learning how to 'forget about time and schedule')
That can be a challenge, just learning, or re learning how to enjoy time off without worrying about tomorrow, or the next day, like when a hobbit and skipped out of school.
But when grown, it's harder to do that, cause just get conditioned to worrying about everything.
It's like on day one off, already worrying about when have to go back to work, or if 'boss' will call and ask you to come in, is why often just turn phone off.
It's also why I hate how news shows obscessed with giving time of day so much.
I don't need to know about 'time' when I'm off.
I'm so different than the average class, in every way shape and form.
