Today I was proud of the President of these United States of America... Why? Because he came out and finally slammed the United Nations as practically being an impotent organization... Those on the political right have always known this...but now that President Obama is starting to realize the same...I'm sure those on the political right will change their views, and come out and praise the U.N. just to spite the President of these United States...cause that's how they've been trained and taught by ratings driven talk radio hosts... Presidents Speech to U.N.But my favorite part of the speech is when he says the following...and this is a direct quote from him. "If we cannot agree even on this, then it will show that the United Nations is incapable of enforcing the most basic of international laws." President Obama Way to go President... Because I'm honest...and don't change my views or principles based on who's in office...I don't mind saying this was a good one. Many on the 'right' have felt this way for years. But because they're persuaded by politics...they'll never pat you on the back for slamming the U.N., where as I will, cause I'm owned by no one, as such I have better clarity than those on the political 'right'... The U.N. should be slammed for being slow, sluggish and incompetent...there's to many nations, with different interests all trying to agree on issues. As such, the U.N. is stalled. Always afraid to act or do anything good for the world. It's like Satan and God both being on the same panel. Of course you're going to have a conflict of issues and ideas. Not every nation in this world is the same. Not every nation in this world has the same objectives. So the idea that all these nations can come together and decide issues is absurd. Way to go President...I'll thank you on this one, even though the political right won't...

I'll stomp you man...you may think you own the Senate or House floor, or did for 21 hours red link to Ted Cruze's 21 hour 'no Obama care' speechBut I, I, your President, I own the floor own the court, and will drop a 3 point shot on yo ezz.. Huh?...what's that?...try me Cruz...and you to Rand Paul... I'll mess around and score a triple double on ya. I'm the first President ever...ever, who could sink a 3 point shot...not even George Washington could do that, or Clinton. Tell ya what Cruz...if you beat me at 1 on 1 basketball, I'll rescind Obama care, deal? (You can come get some to Bill Bennet)

Happy happy joy joy!
More and more Americans are starting to realize what a decent man the President really is. That he does actually care for the working class.
It's just sad that ugly spirited talk radio hosts get to air hate and hostility towards such a wonderful man, 24/7.
People will not fully appreciate what a wonderful man the President is until he's long gone from office, and never again will they have a President who worked so hard for the common persons rights and dignity.
GOP just gives lip service...this President tries to deliver.
GOP is content with permanent underclass, this President is not.
And GOP hates him, cause he, the Presidents, wants to create a bridge of opportunity for the underclass to rise up and prosper a bit, in this world, before bad health takes us all.
One day, those who have been brainwashed by rotten talk show hosts to hate this President, will wake up and realize what a decent man he really was...it's just to bad they can't realize that now...but more and more are.
As more and more are catching onto the sham that GOP is shoving down their throats.
If GOP had their way, America would look like Africa, where Corporations could do whatever they wanted, pay what they wanted, and have no accountability.
Yes, Africa is what the American labor force would look like if left up to GOP...earning like 70 cents a day to labor in diamond minds, or in the fields...that's the GOP world for you...
President Obama...I salute you for remaining so positive inspite the dark negative attacks of talk radio hosts, who make up horrible lies about you daily.
One day they will get theirs...

2014 White House Correspondents dinner, President Speaks (humor)This is the one time when the President, all of them, are allowed to really 'strike back', and roast, let it all out, onto those who have been thorns in the side during their administrations. This dinner, tradition, goes back like 80 years or so, but has greatly evolved since being televised. I do actually find it more soothing listening to the President speak, any President, than always hearing their speeches interrupted and interpited by slithery talk show hosts who have come to totally twist and bend the characters of many decent people and elected officials. Now without further a'do, here's the President unleashed!

When the President leaves office, many will miss him who never got to view him in any other light than the negative light cast on him by pale pasty older dudes from Donald Sterling's era.
Well it's nice to see the President and his wife just spending time at home 'The White House', enjoying a evening of good music celebrating some historically good, and some new comers, women of soul and rock.
After hearing above artist sing this Aretha's song 'Rock Steady'...I just became a fan of the song all over again...

Living my life likes it's golden..
Jill Scott, wow, what an incredible singer.
It feels good, for me, to see the President just enjoying himself in a positive way, while celebrating wonderful musicians who are icons to this nation, who have helped many people, from many generations, get through many tough and good times.
Older white pasty conservative males, the same ones who benefited from segregation back in the day, have spent the whole time trashing the President...to the point where they have become monsters to me.
Anyways, it's just kind of nice to see an evening of class and respect sorounding the President, and a bit of humor, free from hateful narration of pasty horned Karl Rove types.
Sing on Miss Scott, and thank you President for all that you do, all that you're brave enough to do.

Republicans allow blind bias to make them 'dense'.Brilliant move by administration (Huff post)Releasing two captured hostages for safe return of U.S. soldier brilliant move, on part of administration...but sadly dark aged, prehistoric, bigoted Republicans to bias to see the strategy. 1. Once hostages released, they can now be destroyed 2. If kept captive, they would have to be housed and fed forever. 3. GPS implants possibly embedded in them, so that wherever they go, U.S. can track them and gather better intelligence. Brilliant move by administration...but Republicans, who are to blinded by political bias, are to blind to see it. All bias GOP sees or hears is 'Obama baaaaaaad, Republicans gooooood'. If Bush or Sarah Palin or Romney had done the same, same GOP types who condemn P-Obama, would be praising a Rep who did same thing. Politics literaly makes those into it 'retarded'.... Sorry but it does...politics blinds people. According to GOP, who flip flop simply do to hatred of democratic process...but according to them.. 1. Just keep housing and feeding prisoners of war forever. House and feed them forever. But according to strategist, release, and then destroy. True patriots, strategist aren't owned by either party. Thus can see things through a clearer lense.

Thank you, President Obama, for doing the right thing, and swapping 5 useless Taliban for 1 U.S. citizen who was near death, and being held captive.
You did the right thing.
I'm glad you by-passed Congress, who as of lately can't seem to get together on anything, to solve the most simplest of issues. Some issues require immediate action, not weeks, months, years of debate in Congress as both sides just bicker back and forth about nothing.
Now that Taliban are released, I'm sure they'll be tracked, and maybe even have gps tracking chips in them.
I didn't vote for you, I didn't vote for anyone, but to me you're just human, and were fairly elected.
I'd pat you on the back for doing what you just did irregardless of party affiliation.
A good deed is a good deed, whether done by Rep or Dem.
And it's sad people are loosing sight of that.

(Best part of speech is at 14:40 on, when Pres speaks off the cuff...awesome stuff)
Sometime I just enjoy hearing from the President first hand, instead of re interpreted through ugly foul talk radio hosts.
I don't need talk show hosts to re interpit for me, everything President says or expresses.
I like giving the President a fair shot to express his own views 'as is', and I'll interpit as I please, not as some brainwashed talk radio puppet...
Speak President speak...
(here he's speaking about helping students pay back student loans).
I mean why not, if we can send billions over seas, why not help our own.

Proof John Boehner is full of crap with his law suit against PresidentExecutive orders former Presidents have issued out, without any GOP complaining or crying!Ronald Reagan... 213 executive actions!!, not a word from GOP back then that Reagan was over stepping his bounds or breaking the Constitution.... George W Bush... 173 executive actions!!, not a word from GOP back then of Bush over stepping his Constitutional bounds or breaking the law. And Bill Clinton had 200 executive actions...this is what Presidents do, have always done!! (P-Obama...only 147) But this new breed of lying Fox News bred GOP politicians think most are to dumb to know history, and count on people being dumb and dense, and relying on Rush and Hannity (paid puppets) for all their education. John Boehner, and all like him are frauds to me, dishonest frauds, they simply want to get their way all of the time, and don't respect the democratic system. They are nothing more than cry babies...even Reagan wouldn't recognize todays brand of politicians. I didn't vote for President Obama, but cause I'm honest and fair, can't sit here and allow over paid, do nothing, pasty skinned, out of touch with common laborers, GOP house members to get away with their cry baby ways. To me, they are against everything America is for, and that is you don't always get your way in a system like this. If they want a total Republican/Conservative dictatorship, let them break away from the Union, and form a Fidel Castro type nation where Christian right, GOP and Conservatives appoint Duck Dynasty dude as their leader. Do it, do it now, and you'll be happy, and let the rest of us be.
