I wanted to see if Amazon sold Ouija boards, and they do, but also learned there's a difference between a Ouija board and a Spirit board.. answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080711103157AAUaJu6 Here's what I found out from 'Yahoo Answers' 1. Basically the boards are the same 2. Ouija Boards are associated more with Parker Brothers, a 'brand name' so to speak, like the old 'Sony Walkman' cassette players, the term 'Walkman' could not be used by other companies with similar devices, forget what the legal term of that is. 3. Spirit Boards, is term people who are more spiritually mature use and refer to it as, and Spirit boards tend to be better crafted, and usually cost a lot more, but like people wrote, basically it's the same thing, same purpose. Either way I won't be getting one...I remember years ago there was like a 'online' board you could use, even when 'drunk' I still wasn't brave enough to use it, I wonder if that site is still up?

Some more spooky type stories This narrator shares around 7 creepy tales, what I like most about this type of storytelling is you have to use your own imagination for the backdrop and scenery, which to me makes it better, cause your mind is the best and ultimate special effects wizard. And it's interesting to see the type of scenery and characters your mind matches with the story. Usually when we imagine the people or characters being described, it's based on our own world experience...I call it 'mind theater', and I find it less distracting than when a story teller will try to animate the story or stories, cause then you get distracted by what they want you to see rather than what you 'need to see'. Also, when stories like this are told with no visuals, it's more inclusive, meaning if Asian or Swedish or African or Indian, it allows you to fill the characters in a way that makes sense to 'you', your world and culture you come from. The one story in hear that gave me the chills the most is one of a college aged guy swimming beneath some train tressel..or tracks.. Alone and with his pals this time, and how they described could see from the shoreline some pale ghostly figure walking towards edge of water and jumping into the water towards him... And I'll leave it at that, listen to the audio for full story, I think it's like the first one.

More spooky stories
The art of story telling is so lost these days, but I find listening to another tell a scary story more effective than watching some cheesy 'B' horror movie.
As stated earlier, the mind is the best 'stage'.

I think I mentioned this somewhere else on here, but I do notice the less religious I become, the less paranormal experiences I have. I remember when really religious, as in Judeo/Christian type of religious, I remember always having paranormal experiences, but once I stopped going to church, stopped praying ect, it's like it all ceased.
I wonder why?
And the only time really weird stuff begins to happen, again, is any time I try praying or getting religious, and again I wonder why that is?
Like I'll hear Christian folks always talking about seeing demons and praying for demons to 'leave' ect...but I never see any of that stuff since stopped being religious...that's kind of odd.

Maybe when one is religious, it's like tapping into a 'current' of sorts, a current of all sorts of spirit activity, be it good or bad, and so when one stops being religious, maybe no longer tapped into that current anymore.

It's why to me, prayer and using a Ouija board is almost the same thing to me, in that one has no idea what they're tapping into, what spirit they're evoking.

Is why it seems those who pray the most go through the most hardships, why is that?
And then Pastor always making excuses to why their prayer did not come true.
But my question is what are they praying to to make make their lives always so sour.

But my question is what are they praying to to make make their lives always so sour. It also bugs me, this idea, that when it comes to prayer, 'God' responds to volume, in other words the more who pray, the more likely god is to respond, we're told.....but that makes no sense to me at all. To me, god, if good and holy and ect, should honor the prayer of one person, and it should not matter how many others are praying for that one person; that's like saying god is 'deaf' unless more people hollar, yell, and scream at him, that's like saying god isn't paying attention until tapped on the shoulder. This idea that you have to 'get gods attention' troubles me, cause to me, if god, you'd think they'd already be attentive.

Scary stories involving the 'dark web'
I don't know anything about the 'dark web', and have never been there, but these 3 short stories tell the tale of 3 people who did venture there, and each kind of plays out like a Twilight Zone episode.
Lately, with all the 'B' movies out there I find it easier to get into 'story telling' more so than cheap movies.
In your mind you're able to cast whatever characters you think fit the roles, so if Chinese and here this, than maybe you'll cast characters you can relate to, and so forth.
What visuals tend to do is lock others out who don't fit a certain cultural description, but with audio, one can imagine the characters being whomever you want, even can insert your own friends into those roles.
And with this audio here, I guess you have to decide if these stories are true or not or stretched.
