Food Stamps...

Let me start by saying...if someone is starving...I'll be the first to feed them.
If someone has family or hobbits who are hungry...I'll be the first to buy them groceries.

Now, that being said...food stamps...

I've never used them..even when I was homeless...and hungry...living off of crackers and water...I still refused any kind of handout.

But then again...I had no family support. Having a family to support totally changes the equation.
The hobbits of a single, irresponsible parent, didn't ask to be born into such an environment...so why should they suffer, and go hungry, cause parent lacks common sense?

GOP wants to cut food stamp funing by $39 billion

Wow...I never knew that much money was set aside for food stamps...$39 billion and or more...(cause that's just what they want to cut)...no wonder there's an obesity problem.

Lets just brain storm here...

$39 billion...
That's $39 billion dollars worth of groceries being bought...which obviously stimulates the economy.
All that food being purchased keeps businesses afloat, farmers in business and so on.

But that's just one way to look at it, but still, that's $39 billion worth of consumerism that would be removed from the markets.

(I wish my brain didn't think in so many multiple ways at times)

But I'm just saying...$39 billion dollars is a lot of products being bought and sold...what happens when $39 billion dollars less food is being sold?, a recession?
