2nd Amendment arguement and how it relates to Boston lock down.

Rough sketch monologue

Hello, and welcome tot he 'Cage Show', let's get straight to the point here, and that is

1. Do 2nd Ammendment rights advocates here in the U.S. secretely drool over, and or even admire, from a distance, the Taliban or other armed insurgence that rise up around the world, wherever that may be, thus driving away what they percieve to by a tyranical government.

I must say this though before I continue.

This is not CNN or NPR or MSNBC, so if are tuned in cause you're expecting a 'hit job' on the right, you're mistaken, for what the Cage show is 'fair', or tries to be as much as any flawed human can.

That being said I'm referring to 'Optics', and not phylosiphy or ideology, it is the optics, I do believe gun lovers around the world secretely admire about the Taliban, and or other armed insurgence that rise up and drive off what they percieve to be a tyranical government.

And the one common thread these groups either have with one another, or wish they did is armament, and plenty of it, that's the one common thread all these successful uprisings have with one another is an seemingly endless supply of armament, whether supplied by a shadow Government, or as in the case of the United States, sold and supplied domestically, that's the one thing these groups all have in common is they realize the power of the gun, and plenty of ammunition, for what would the Taliban be without their weapons?..peasants.

You have to realize the power of optics folks, to understand what it is I'm trying to convey here.

You have millions of 2nd Ammendment types right here in the U.S. who yes, do see the Taliban as their enemy, but at the same time eerily foresee a time in their own nation where they to may have to one day rise up in arms to drive away, or dismantle by force a domestic tyranical government that no longer serves the people, but rather feeds on the people.

In the same way every student pilot fantacizes about being on a commercial flight, and say the pilot has a sudden medical condition, and thus unable to land the airplane, then the stewardess announces to the passangers
'Our pilot has suffered a medical set back, is there anyone who knows how to fly a plane?, to which the ambitious student pilot rises up from his seat and says 'Yes ma'am, I do believe I can help'

Well in the same way, many who cherish the 2nd Ammendment lightly dream or fantacize about a future time when their fellow countrymen will need them, call upon them, to help drive back a top heavy, menacing, administratevly abusive Government that no longer recognizes the individual freedoms or rights of it's citizens *Kind of like what's occurring in Austraila right now with their militarized covid lock downs.
