My Mt Rushmore of NBA players, who over the years have made a big impact on the game. Many guys I mention never get mentioned, are forgotten, by sports media types...like Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp the dynamic duo... How can people forget about the Seattle Super Sonics and how great Shawn Kemp was, heck he was flying right along side Jordan with gravity defying dunks...but how quick he's forgotten, him and Gary Payton... Lebron James has never had to go up against players like this, or Karl Malone, or Shaq, in his prime or Magic Johnson, or a killer 3 point shooter like Larry Bird, or the hyper activity of John Stockton (Utah Jazz), or the stubbornness of Karl Malone, or the high flying antics of Dominique Wilkins, and I could go on and on. I'm not ready to put Lebron on that mountain yet. Dr J belongs on that mountain before him. More to follow.

I still don't like Lebron, for some reason, don't think I'd like them if met on the street, and they don't inspire me on the court, not sure why, but that being said can't help but respect their athletic prowess on the court.
They're like Shaq + Kobe = Lebron, or Shaq + Michael Jordan = Lebron.
They're a beast on the court and the fact that after all these years their body is still near it's prime is amazing...just amazing.
Superstars really are special I guess, cause after all these years how could no one else, out of all the athletes, no one else has come along to be his athletic rival, not even another Shaq type...that's just strange.

Lebron the hybrid player
After watching this.
1. Lebron shoots a lot of 3 point shots like Larry Bird did, or that other guy from Golden State.
2. He's no MJ, he's to large to move like MJ, MJ sliced his way in towards the basket for those spectacular dunks, even back when the NBA players were more violent, MJ still carved a path for himself into the basket and dunked, Lebron doesn't do that, instead takes 3 pointers, which is fine, I mean points are points.
Obviously he's willing his way to be on the Mt Rushmore of basketball players, and this corona year has helped him, cause if long regular season, his body might of worn down.
This years shorter season totally favored a older athlete like Lebron, totally...so if he wins another Championship with the Lakers, in the back of his mind he'll be thanking corona.
