(Note, the above movie is NOT, the movie I was reviewing, not sure how it got in there, the above movie is a older Clint Eastwood movie, not the one I was reviewing, will trying to find other 'gangster' movie if I can)
I just bought this movie, which came in a package bundle of older Italian gangster movies from the past, like pre Goodfellas days.
This one here 'Family Enforcer' seems decent so far about 15 minutes into it...the accents seem authentic, and I can tell in it's day (1976) it wasn't a sell out movie.
But again, I'm only 15 or so minutes into the movie, but so far I like, not to mention a young 'Joe Pesci' is suppose to be in movie....he's yet to make an appearance.
Updates to follow, but so far, for such an older Italian gangsta movie, I like, and the characters are interesting.

I must say, this older gangsta movie is pretty decent. It even has elements of the Sopranos in it...with that 'off beat' humor.
And also, the actor who played 'Billy Bats' in Goodfellas, who also was in 'Casino' is in this movie. He was way younger back then though.
In fact a lot of future 90's gangster stars, are in this movie, just much younger.
I'll do much more research on movie, and performers as time permits in the future, but so far very decent movie.
I simply bought it in one of those conviant store movie bundles for $2.99 and so far it's worth it.
How did this gem slip through so many peoples radar?

Witness to the Mob
One of my all time favorite Mob movies...kind of a under the radar one about Sammy the Bull and Don Gotti.
Their relationship, rise and fall.
A made for TV movie, yet powerful...and many of the cast in this movie went on to star in the Sopranos...
Added comments
This movie should be right up there with Casino and Goodfellas, in my opinion.
But for some reason just gets over looked, not sure if cause it was a made for TV rather than made for theater production.
Authentic accents and all, straight up Italian mob movie that just seems to get over looked for some reason.

I'm watching the Godfather II right now...such a deep movie.
Educational actually, not so much the crime part but rather how to run a organization part.
Whether Surface corporation or underworld corporation, one thing for sure is that as head you need wisdom, and must be able to read people and situations.
Must be able to know whom you're dealing with, but with mob movies if wrong you may pay with your life, where as with 'straight' corporate affairs, if wrong you just may loose a lot of money or be sued in court.
I think organized crime spreads far beyond the mafia.
Organized crime is everywhere, and perpetrated by Governments, agencies ect.
And now organized crime is even perpetrated by Islamist and other such groups.

One of the most Gangster moves everTo me, this is one of the most gangster 'moves' or 'poses' ever produced on film, from the movie The God Father II. It just totally captures the twin nature of most gangsters back in the day, dressed in a suit, trench coat, yet in a whim, slightest hint of danger, ready to kill, just like that, and doesn't hesitate if have to. Then when danger gone, puts gun away, and goes back to other business as if nothing ever occurred. Luckely for the guy at the door, they never entered.

Todays Gangters are men who act like boys, yesterdays Gangters were boys who behaved and acted like men

Witness to the Mob
After watching John Travolta play Gotti, it just makes this movie here shine even brighter.
