 Right now Justin Bieber is doing everything to out run his red lipped, successful, quazzae, twink, feminine past. He's running as far and fast away from the past that made him famous, as he can. And he's doing so by totally embracing a new 'tough guy' image to let the world know he's no longer that 'cute little hobbit from Canada who sang like a girl'. In other words he's become self aware. And it is this self awareness that has totally spurned the whole Dr Jeckle Mr Hyde persona in him. But, it's only a phase...cause what do they always say 'You always return to your roots, you always return to that which made you a hit to begin with. And Justin Bieber is no Ice Cube or Tommy Lee (Motley Crew), or Hank Williams Jr...no instead Justin Bieber was presented as a 'cute pop icon' for young innocents to listen to and embrace in rural communities all across the land. But now he's running away from the very image that made him his fortune....but he will only run so far, as he'll soon realize that 'ugly' doesn't sell. At least not for him. Right now though, he has enough residual pay, money, where it doesn't matter, but as he matures, he'll realize that having a clean image isn't so bad, and actually gives you more longevity. The very image he runs from is the very image Michael Jackson so wanted...  Jackson spent $10's of 1000's of dollars trying to make himself become the very image Justin Bieber is running away from. Many 'black' males secretly wished they could be as beloved, and loved, and seen as wholesome and clean, as they think 'white' males are. Many black males secretly wish when they walked down street people would love and adore them, not fear them, invite them to parties, into inner circles that are now closed to them do to perception. Bieber has that now, yet is running away from it. There's a lot of phycology behind this that we will explore in up coming posts. |

Many black males, Hispanic males, and outcast white males, secretly wish they could be adored by all, the way Justin B is, and Justin B just doesn't seem to appreciate his role in it all.
He runs from the very image that made him his fortune, now he tries his best to be like Tommy Lee (Motley Crew drummer) and Little Wayne, all in one, with all the tattoos and all.
But believe me you, in a few more years, once he realized being 'ugly' is not profitable, he'll try to return to his 'cute boy' looks, as his career and fortune fade, they all do.
Manudo, all of them, they never appreciate their image until Father time catches up with them...then they panic, try their best to re capture that 'cotton ball image' as window of interest wanes.
There's nothing wrong with being cute and cuddle as a male, expecially if that cute and cuddly image earns you billions...

Justin Bieber continues to run from his past People don't realize Justin B is running from his past, when younger he attracted, developed, a fan base and image that he now runs from, that now hunts him. So his current day radical behavior with tattoos and drugs, is simply his way of running away from his past and trying to redefine himself. He was a 'twink'...and doesn't want to be that anymore, now that he's a man, his own past scares and haunts him, and his original fan base does to. He needs help, he really does, cause right now his definition of 'manhood' is totally off. Justin B is a very scared, frail, hobbit, on the inside...he's scared, yet no one will help him over come his fears. The tougher you act on the outside, the more frail and scared you are on the inside...and right now Justin is scared, he's running. And others are taking advantage of his frailty and need to 'prove self'...others are taking advantage of that vunerablity within him. One day, hopefully, he'll learn that being a 'man' has nothing to do with appearing to be a reckless monster on the outside. There are many of urban youth, youth of color, who secretly would love to trade places with Justin. There are many black urban youth who would love to be instantly loved and adored by sight, instead of feared and reveared, by site. Justin has that now, but runs from it...one day, when it's all gone, he will learn.
