Back when black men, males, stood for something.
Were way more diverse, and in an era before today street gutter types were even born.
Here in the Twylight Zone, you live on.

Since I don't have a google account right now, I have to catalog some of these songs here...
What a classic...this is kind of a Funk/Soul/groove type Rhythm and Blues song...authentic R&B, not todays urban, pop, love music type of slop.
Todays R&B is hollow, cause the people who sing it come from a 'void' generation...a superficial environment where everything is fake, and roots, heritage to nothing.
The older R&B singers had artistic connections to the blues, rock, civil rights, legitimate social issues, and it bled over in their songs.
They were true champions of social change of today, vs todays entitled types, who have contributed nothing to the world, nothing.
They just pile on make up and grow nails long and can't even cook, and couldn't survive in nature for 2 days...useless.
Give me old soul, old school types any day over todays plastic.

The Whispers, And the beat goes on'...
What a classic Funk hit.
As I observe folks dancing in video, I often wonder where they are now, and how their lives have evolved since performing in this video...the random dancers you see.
What has life and age taught them since this video?
All that aside, this was back during the era or 'Super Funk' bands.
Will this era ever come back?
