I really want to examine this movie more, there's many layers to it one might not pick up on initially. Like that Superman, in this version, is a hermaphrodite, like an earthworm, in that he's capable of performing the physiological reproductive roles of both soxes since his Father injected the DNA code of his people into his genome. I want to examine that aspect more and General Zods role in this movie as the 'Villain', not sure if he really was a villain for simply wanting his people, ' Kryptonians', to survive. In fact, I think Superman, like Optimus Prime, would be looked upon as traders to their own people, planets, for taking the side of humans over their own survival. I would like to explore this idea more in the future when I have a bit more time.

The more I watch this movie, the more it's starting to grow on me, cause there's so many layers to it. And I'm becoming fascinated with General Zod, who to me is a, the true Hero of Cryptionites, not Superman. To me, Superman is a trader, who chose humans over his own kind. That makes Superman a Trader to his own kind.. On the other hand all Zod wanted is for his people to live and thrive...I can't demonize Zod for that. To me, It's Zod who's the true hero in this epic.

I think I like General Zods family better than Superman's family.
Superman ignores the atrocities humans do to each other, such as slavery, dictators, wars, corruption, Superman excuses all the sins of Man, yet judges General Zod for simply wanting his people to live, to thrive?
Zod, is the true hero...Superman is the slave...

Plain and simple, Superman is a sell out, always killing and destroy his own kind, and mechanisms designed to protect him.
Give me Zod...

I have nothing against Superman...but he's merely a projection of ______.
The only scene I admire of Superman 'Man of Steel' is when he attacks Zod for offending his earthly Mother...now that's honorable...and any son worth their salt would do the same thing.

Superman is merely a slave created in the image of his own maker...
And that's why his behavior, choice of loyalty, defies all real life logic.

If you really think about this movie, study it, if one was a 'Kryptonite' citizen, they'd more than likely rather have 'General Zod' as their leader, than Superman, who betrayed them, for humans.
General Zod is more of a real life portrayal of life, than Superman's character is.
Superman, if you study film, was basically a 'house slave' for humans, whom themselves were not better, no more 'moral' and would of made exact same decision as 'General Zod' if survival came down to it.
Superman, as portrayed in move, is basically a stooge...

Superman really annoys me in this movie, the more I watch it, the more annoyed I become with Superman's treacherous behavior towards his on kind. Like in the movie when General Zod pleads with Superman not to destroy last of ships...here's how the dialogue takes place. General Zod: 'If you destroy this ship, you destroy Krypton!Superman: 'Krypton had it's chance!'Ok, what kind of treacherous trader talk is that? I don't like traders, people who betray their own kind, movement or cause, for no good reason. And Superman had no good reasons to betray his own people, other than the fact the writers wrote that into him. Cause that type of behavior goes against all of nature. No superior being would ever bow down and serve beings inferior to them. Which sometimes leads me to wonder if the whole story of basically Jesus doing the same thing for humanity is another made up script? Cause all modern movies, themes, all seem to follow this 'Humans are noble and must be saved' type of reasoning. Why are humans noble?, when we can't even barely stand ourselves? So if we can't stand ourselves, outside of our own small cultural or regional areas, why would supreme beings from another world elevate us up to such high status, enough so to betray their own kind? Same thing occurred in the Transformers movie, where Optimus Prime chose or chooses humans over his own home planet and species... Makes no sense why a superior robo droid, would choose to become a human puppet, pet, and betray his on planet and Mega Tran. Just makes no sense, the loyalties in many of these movies just make no sense when translated to the real world. As with Superman, the Transformers, and the bible, this idea is pushed that there's something super noble about man, and that mankind is worth saving. Whether Superman or Batman or Spiderman...although I can understand them better cause Batman and Spiderman are themselves human. Aside from a few short centuries, or even only since 1940, aside from great technological advances, not sure there was ever a time where people on this planet treated each other good, instead it's always been conquer and destroy, conquer, remove and destroy all in the name of 'self'. I just hope and pray the bible isn't another version of a comic book, where super hero's come down to save noble man.

Jesus so loved the worldWhy? All the world did was crucify him and send him packing... If people are 'kind' they're only kind when forced to follow a certain set of pre set principles which are the only things that separate them from Dracula.

It's why I'm hidden.. Hidden away in dark dungeon of circumstance by forces, supernatural forces that don't want me known to others. They are cunning, clever, and very dishonst, they elevate the stupid, the hollow, elevate 'souls' with nothing to say, yet hide me deliberately, clever and treacherous they are, these beings. Unfair, does have a name, and is intentious in it's nature.

I'm on your side babe...in reality, it's Superman who is the virus, who's out of order, not you.

I caught a glimpse of Superman, or 'Man of Steel' on HBO, and still can't for the life of me understand why such a superior being would chose humans over his own kind.
I think if the people of Kryptonite were still alive, had a say, I think they'd chose General Zod as their hero, not Superman, who basically flushed his own people down the toilet for humans, who are just as imperfect and full of scandal as Superman thought Kryptonite's were or Zod.
Obviously Superman never studied human history and doesn't pay attention to the news.

I'm watching movie again on HBO...and the more I watch Superman, Man of Steel, the more agggrivated I get, like how really the only reason he decided to turn self in to save the world from Zod, was to save Loas Lane. (everyone else be d_mned I guess) Once again dominant culture telling everyone else who has value and worth in this world, and who doesn't. They pick dull looking, sandy blonde lady to play the woman Superman falls in love with. And Superman basically represents the lust, God complex, of dominant culture. And then in early scene had the nerves to put picture of 'Christ' in direct back drop of Superman...such symbolism, as if to compare Superman to the 'Savior'. No wonder real life actors who play Superman always seem to eventually meet bad fate. That aside I prefer the 80's version of Loas Lane, the dark haired brunet version. I wish in this version they had chosen a dark hair Persian woman. My choice for Loas Lane would of been a golden skinned, dark haired beauty, of which more people around the world could relate to.
