When you go back to the place you were raised or born, and it's all gone, no longer there. When you go back and the people you knew have all moved on, replaced by strangers. Buildings knocked down, new ones erected...it's as if you're a ghost in your own past. Things we all have in common...  |

 Dreams. Many of us dream, that's another thing a lot of us have in common regardless of whatever. To me, dreams are a gift, they are an escape. A place where you're never hungry, where money and earthly status just don't seem to matter. Dreams seem to deal with 'themes'. Dreams are a place where it seems you're free of earthly constraints as in gravity, or physical appetite. Some dreams can be scary or very unsettling, but even the darkest dreams don't seem to be as bad as what many face in real day to day life. |

Things decent people have in common?...this song here
This song here just makes me yearn to pick up the guitar again and so desperately try to learn guitar, if not just one more time, if not just for this song here.
This song here, if heart is still soft, unites all of those from like the American heartland, not the urban bitter types, not the Uber over seas types, or the foreign twitter censorship type, but rather the Saturday morning cartoon types from the heartland, is what this song here unites.
Please, like promised your best friend when young, don't let the world 'rot' your soul.
