There are many kinds of sauces...but to me 'Hot Sauce' should be hot...not mild or tame, but hot. Unfortunatly most grocery store hot sauces fall short of my standards...but one brand actually surprised me. But first two others that did not live up to my expectations... 1. Trappyes's 'Bull' Louisiana Hot Sauce... What a let down...I mean when you think Louisiana, you automatically think 'hot and micey'...but not in the case of this sauce...saucy yes, hot, no... From a 1 to 5 scale, 5 being the hottest...I give it a 1. Trappey's hot sauce will flavor your food, but it won't make it hot. 2. Frank's 'RedHot' original... Another brand that wraps itself in labeling that makes it seem 'hot', in actuality it is not. Saucy yes, hot, no. Wet and saucy yes, hot, not... I give it a rating of 1. on the hot scale... And now...for the pleasant surprise I found while shopping, a common brand in most stores, a hot sauce that will actually make your taste buds pop and hop and say stop... And the winner is... 3. Crystal Extra Hot' hot Sauce... Ye baby! If you like hot, this is it...but the key word you must look for on the labeling is the 'EXTRA HOT' wording... If you like true hot sauce, this is the best brand I've found so far, at Publix. Mind you I haven't tried all brands out there...but for the ones I have found this does the trick. It's hot sauce that makes you say 'stop', as your mouth and tongue goes poppety pop... From a 1-5 scale...I give it a 4. and that's good for your grocery store variety hot sauces. Anyways, hope this review was useful...will have more soon.

Ok, I'm sure you've walked down the Barbecue isle at the store, and have seen this Raspberry flavored barbecue sauce and wondered 'hmm...wonder what that tastes like?'... Well I'll tell, cause I bought some... Basically it tastes like Raspberry Ketchup. I guess it's an acquired taste or something...cause to me raspberries don't belong on steak or ribs... Raspberries belong in a pie...not on a steak...at least in my tasteful opinion... Not a bad product though, I'm just not use to raspberry tasting steak...

I bought this brand a few weeks ago...expecting some blazing heat, do to exotic bottle label...I was wrong... Flavor is good, decent...but as far as being true hot sauce...nah...flavorful yes...hot no... And today...I purchased 'Genuine One Drop' gourmet...and nothing...I was expecting a blaze...and got nothing. Sad thing about it is it cost $3.00 and some change...I figured for the extra price I'd for sure get some heat and fire...but nope...same ole wet, yet saucy flavor...but no heat, no fire, that hot sauce lover like. Not sure why manufacturers of hot sauce are so afraid to 'mice it up'... Don't waste you're time on these two products if you like hot... But if you like taste, and saucy...they're good... (But in all fairness I got the 'mild'...but even mild should still be hot)

I'm so tired of wasting money on hot sauce that isn't hot...so I bought some green, very hot halopeno peppers... Dropped them into a blender... And added all kinds of ingredients... I got rid of some ketchup, Barbee-q sauce, other sauces that have been in fridge or cabinet forever...and dumbed it all in blender with peppers, and added a bit of water...and turned the blender on... And believe me you...it's hot... Oh, and I added some tomato sauce that I doubt I'd ever use...opened can... Now I have true hot sauce...hmm...maybe I could invent own special recipy and sell it... Cause it's hot...the way hot sauce should be, not like that watery, sweet tasting store bought stuff...

After making my own hot sauce, store bought red hot sauce isn't appealing to me anymore...the red color, which I never objected to before, suddenly alarms me..
Is it do to 'dye's or something?, chemicals?
I just know the home made hot sauce I made is not red...and when I run out, if able, will continue to only make home made hot sauce with halopino peppers, hot onions, and whatever else my mind can conjure up to put in it...maybe tomato sauce?
It will be healthier, and thicker than wet, red, dyed, store bought sauce, that's for sure...

I just made some more of my own hot sauce...tired of store bought hot sauce that has no heat to it...so I just went to pepper section and bought the hottest peppers I could, and other ingredients, and put it all in blender...and good gracious is it hot...
Put onions in it, emptied out old Ketchup bottle, tomato dices, and a few other things...
Can't wait to try it...

Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce Garlic and Green Onion This stuff is good, I purchased a bottle at Public, and yum...it's good, sinks into the food just right. I happen to use it on chicken gizzards, noodles, onions, ect. It cost me around $4.30 or so, but well worth it. I definitely recommend this sauce.

Maggi 'Taste of Asia', is one of the best tasting store bought sauces I have ever purchased. It's not hot, rather tangy. It's advertised as Chili sauce, but I've used it on chicken and other stuff, blends right in and adds a delightful flavor to food. I definitely recommend this product. I bought it at Publix down the sauce isle..where they sell Chinese type sauces.

MEA PLOY Sweet Chilli SauceVery good, bought some today, just right actually. If you like that tangy oriental sauce type of taste, you'll like this, I paid $2.99 for it at grocery store. Can go on just about anything I suppose.

Cayenne Pepper 'Supreme Tradition'[/font
OK, I bought this at like a Publix Supermarket, Cayenne powdered pepper
Hot hot hot, in future will upload photo of how it looks, but this hot Cayenne red pepper powder no joke, very hot hot hot, even in small doses.
I like 'hot' though, cause it mellows me out, kind of beats me up, makes me realize there's worse things in life than 'me' or my 'mood'.
Like if married, or in relationship, and want to mellow your partner out, just put this pepper powder in their food before argument begins, and believe me you, they'll mellow out, will be drinking milk to calm their tongue.

El Yucateco Warning this hot sauce here is no joke, I bought it from Publix Supermarket and this hot sauce here, wow, wow, no joke, it's for sure the most hottest of all store bought hot sauces I've ever had. I treated it like all the usual watered down, passive red colored hot sauces you buy from store, not this stuff, this stuff here 'El Yucateco' will kick your butt and knock you down, or better yet it will have you flushing mouth, tongue, with water for at least 15 minutes, and it will be a very long 15 minutes at that, mercy. You've been warned. If do use, one drop will be enough for whole plate of food.

Grace - Hot Pepper Sauce I must say, this Grace hot pepper sauce has caught my attention as of late. It's hot, not annoying hot, but above mild hot, that's for sure, and just a little of it on your food does the job.
