click to enlargeThis is one reason why the Tea Party, and all their gripes, ring hollow to me, is when I go back and look at civil rights news films, and see images of black citizens being mowed down, shot, like animals by the establishment. Seems to me the tea party outrage was no where to be seen back then, cause seems to me their parents were the benefiscaries of such a system. Black citizens have had to put up with all sorts of crooked laws, crooked Presidents, crooked police, crooked FBI, CIA, IRS for centuries, or more currently decades, yet Tea Party was silent, as long as the injustices were aimed elsewhere, at other citizens they held their nose up to. Is why the Tea Party is meaningless to me, and all their words seem hollow and self serving. If they truly were for rights, they would be for all peoples rights, not just 'white priviledge' rights, and spend all their time crying about the first mixed President.

Wow, after reading this, I can see why so many B Veterans feel so left out and alienated from the land they fought for, willing to die for. I'm learning that for some, a lot of past history is very ugly. link = eji.org , how B Veterans treated in the past This will also be on a radio show soon. Or just type in eji. org and reference 'black veterans'....as I know some people don't trust links these days. Also, so sad and telling of the days back then, when Black U.S. soldier captured by Nazis, and wrote how they were treated better by the Nazis than by Alabama State troopers back in the 40's and 50's. Makes no sense, on the world stage America seemed like it was noble, fighting for equality, yet back home state side...well, history tells it...

Wow, some of these posts, these forgotten posts, go back far here in the zone. This one from way back in 2014.
