Dallas Buyers ClubA movie about the Evils of the FDA, back when the Aids virus first came out, and how they'd use TZA or other experimental drugs that were very toxic to patients, but didn't help them. Yet FDA approved. So unlikely rebel Texas electrician who contracted aids, started treating self, and others, with vitamins sold over seas. This urban cowboy type was very homophobic at first, hated 'gay' people with a passion, but once he got aids through unprotected 'sox', an odd alliance developed between him and the gay community, and cross dressers, or anyone else who was infected. Through his urban cowboy wits, he started enterprise, not selling drugs, or vitamins, but 'memberships'...he became very wealthy. But then Doctors got jelious, and tried to make his enterprise illegal. FDA and other such Governmental enterprises all tried coming down on him, even though what he was doing was helping people who could not afford expensive FDA drugs. It's a good movie. It shows how corrupt Governmental agencies are and how only super rich high grossing companies can afford to 'buy them off', while shutting out smaller, possibly more helpful companies with cures, or even individuals. The movie will make you mad, very upset, at 'State powers'... Still watching, not over yet, but really touched. The performers in the movie do an excellent job. And by they way, it's all based on real life events, which makes it all the more touching. How little people with lots of enginouity are shut out of helping others do to Government regulations. It's sad, and watching it will really show you how evil Gov can be, and how Gov and big business work together to shut small players out the game of prosperity. And it also makes you not trust 'system doctors'...

Crisscross (1992Today was the first day of my life ever, that I even knew this movie existed, I was just channel surfing and stayed tuned in. I mean you can always feel when certain movies, or shows have that certain underlying 'realism' to them, the acting is 'calm', measured, like real life. Good movies are made or broken by who they cast to play the roles. And they did a good job with this one, the actors are all believable, in the same vein as movies like 'The Outsiders', the movie just tells of a more grittier side of 'glam', the back story of 'glam', but what maybe many obviously went through themselves while growing up or lived around such. Yes, Goldie Hawn, was in it, and yes, back in the day she was kind of considered a 'pop' actress, mainstream actress, but in this movie it's not really themed around her or her sox appeal, rather it's themed around the broken family she's trying to raise in a 1969 drug infested beach environment. The movie has a 'weird' twist that I cannot reveal, but worth watching or streaming, or however you can get it. I happen to have caught it on 'This' TV, local programing. It's a movie that will make you think, maybe even take you back to your own torn childhood, or another's. To me, it's a forgotten alternative classic, that you just never ever hear about anywhere, and if I didn't happen to stumble upon it by accident, I'd never know it existed either. It's worth checking out if you like realism in movies, not even sure if could be made today. Anyways, back to channel surfing...

Hitchhikers guide to the Universe
This movie, and the special effects that accompany it, are decades ahead of it's time.
And many today may find this particular movie of interest.
(I'm sure some of you are like 'what took you so long to share this)
Cool movie.
Kind of reminds me of the 'Zone'...
Can be seen 'now' on Netflix.

That one movie 'The book of Eli' starring Denzal Washington.
I feel like watching that now...one of his best movies ever, yet not very much praised by the mainstream critics.
Why?
Cause critics only like when ethnic actors play stereotypical roles....that's why.
And sadly, most movie critics are nation destroying 'W' liberal elites.
All that aside, I love this movie starring Denzel Washington, here's the trailer

Looking for Mr Good bar (1977)
I just caught like the last 10 minutes of this film and totally thought it was a newer film, and thought the 'male' actor was Spider Man's friend guy, cause they kind of look alike in a few scenes, boy was I wrong.
This movie came out in 1977 and has a very odd ending, a ending that not sure if would be allowed today.
And also cause caught last 10 minutes of film, I though movie evolved around 'the guy', when in fact it evolved around 'the woman', and also based on a true story, or some of it at least.
A true crime story.
Very odd movie which I saw on 'Movies', on antenna TV.
But it's the ending that surprised me, I just wasn't expecting the ending.
If want to know more about movie look it up yourself as if I leave a link it'll just link right back to this site. This clip here is towards the ending of movie, gives better feel to what I first saw, starting when guy with wig in parking lot, that's where I tuned in, from there till movie ended, very odd movie
at about 3:20 into video, is where I just happened to channel surf land into movie.
But this clip doesn't show ending of movie, maybe cause they don't want to give it away. But the ending is 'shocking', not expected.

Plague
This is a off beat zombie meets the infected meets days of our lives, meets, affair, meets just other unpredictable stuff.
It's a decent movie that never heard of until tonight.
It will have you thinking about a lot of issues in your own personal life, kind of like the Zone does.

13 Demons
This one is odd, not sure how to catigorize it, is why reviewing it here, or placing it here.
It's basically a role playing game gone a bit to far, not sure if do to mental illness or actual spirit realm possession, the movie kind of leaves that up to you to decide on your own.
It starts off feeling like a 'B' movie that most will be tempted to just skip, but it's the characters that kind of keep you drawn into the movie.
The characters kind of have a 'Grunge' band feel to them, that whole 1990's Seattle vibe, is what the characters kind of feel like they could be a part of, if not for the characters, or the believability of the actors, this movie would of failed.
The characters are what give this movie some muscles.
Effects, 3rd rate at best, but because the characters/actors so strong, effects don't matter, rather you'll focus more on the dynamics taking place among the characters.
It's a good movie, and probably could of been a bit better had it had a larger budget, but then again maybe not, cause sometimes larger budgets can distract from the theme.
If you're into Dungeons and Dragons, or any of those types of board games, or use to be into them, than you may find this movie an interesting watch.

Tusk
This is such a under the radar, I guess horror/thriller movie?
I originally watched it on Netflix a few years ago.
Some see it as a 'dark comedy' type of movie, but I just see it as 'tragic'...
Has a bit of 'Silence of the Lambs' element to it.
If can find and watch this movie, do so, if you want something different back when big named actors actually starred in movies.

Yes, I consider this kind of a off beat scary thriller type of movie
Can only load the trailer, but like this movie 'Walk Away', well, it's kind of worth watching.
At first seems like typical young people in the woods slasher type movie, but if keep watching it kind of evolves into something else.
I liked it, I mean for crying out loud we get what we get now, gone are the days of big block buster movies and movie stars, so have to just settle for what we can now, and this one is pretty decent.

If alive, have a heart, than this movie will touch you for sure
What happens when the planet Earth finally dies, then what?
Especially if a parent and still have to take care of your offspring.
This is a very touching movie that I originally watched on Netflix, I think.

I find the movies that don't evolve around blutty females, are usually much better, cause it forces director to focus on a actual story line, rather than visuals.
I'll just pass on most movies, if the cover has some blutty looking female on it, cause then I know the movie will simply be about sleaze.

I just don't like horror movies that evolve around the female figure or personality, cause the acting always sucks. Horror movies that center around the female figure always play out more like adult movies, they just have that cheazy feel to them, and the acting always sucks.

If you want to find a good horror movie to watch, find one that doesn't evolve around the female ego, which hogs up all the creativity in the movie.
The less females that are in a horror movie, the better the horror movie usually is, cause it forces the director to actually focus on a good story line, other than the sox appeal of some sleezy appearing females and their loud obnoxious personalities, and constant need for attention throughout the movie.

It's not the females fault, blame the males who always cast them to appear dizzy and dense and full of ego, always demanding attention and dressed like street walkers, they're cast that way do to the males who direct the film, the males are simply projecting their dirty lust onto the female characters, so it's not really the female actors faults, blame the males who cast them to be so sleezy and immature

well I just wish I could find a good movie that did not, does not, always and constantly always focus on a female character or characters.
It's always, how does she look, how does she feel, I could give a crap, females are not the center of my life or Universe, so not sure why in every single movie I watch, or don't watch, it's always centered around the ego, the masses large ego, and delicate behavior of some female, I just get sick of it.
