I feel like watching some off beat horror movie that I cannot predict within the first 30 seconds.

Afflicted
For some reason, it's just hard to find good off beat horror movies like this anymore.
This one currently available on Amazon Prime movies.

Robert D Niro in 'Machete'
Kind of a odd off beat movie I saw Robert D cast in the other night.
I think it's probably over 10 years old by now, but I just never knew about this movie until a few nights ago. There's actually a lot of older aging actors in this movie, including Don Johnsom, from Miami vice, and the dude from Cheechs and Chong, and a few others.
I guess aging actors have to work and eat as well.

'The mean streets', The Godfather, I think part 1, and a few others.
Kind of like Jack Nicholson, their hit movies are spaced apart, but usually when in one it's pretty decent, depending on the budget and the director.
I also liked him in Cape Cod?, where he played a freed conman seeking revenge on the Lawyer who got him locked up.

To me, this is one of Jim Carries best movies ever, it's such a forgotten classic of his

Watch 'dixxy sixxy cinema if you like off beat cinema, and it's totally clean, but fun and goofy
Now this is fun LGBTQ cinema to me, I guess.
I think however, the dizzy sissy just falls into a catigory all their own...as in 'dizzy'.

Red River Road
Red River Road, this is one of the oddest, best, a bit frightening off beat movies I've seen in quite some time. It'll even begin to make you doubt your own reality.
And with AI getting out of control and taking over everything as it is, this movie is really plausible, assuming we're not living in it right now. It's worth watching.. I'm still watching it, so don't know how it ends yet, but it sure keeps getting more and more interesting.
That's a sign of a good movie, one that makes you more interested in the ending than the beginning.

Steve Niles - Remains
Watching this one now on Amazon/Freebee or Freevee? (Where can watch movie for free but with commercials)
Only about 20% into the movie, it's OK....it's a zombie movie...but so far, it's OK.
Not the best zombie movie, not the worst, and the fact that I'm still watching it says a lot.
It just kind of teeters on the edge of having that 'B' movie effect to it, but so far, anyways, it's managing to stay above that 'B' movie threshold.
But you might feel differently. I mean there's only so many ways directors can still get creative with zombie movies. This one takes place in Vegas.

Daisy jones and the 6
So far this movie is hitting all the right tones with me, I mean I think it's based on a true story? But if into like hippie rock bands from the early 70's and that whole vibe, you'll like this story. All the characters look good, as if should be there, and they really capture that era well.
just started watching season one, so have a long way to go in this series, which is airing on Amazon right now.

Hideout
This one started off a bit dorky to me, but as movie plays out, do the strength of one particular long haired character, who kind of reminds me of the older WWF wrester 'Triple H', but do to the strength and depth of their character, the movie begins to take on a 'The devils rejects' kind of feel to it around mid point. The short haired guy I could care the less for, but the long haired beefy dude, ye, for me, they make the movie so far, in that still watching. Especially one killing scene that seems like a scene from a Rod Zombie Devils Rejects moment.
I don't know how the movie ends, but I like it so far, it keeps getting more interesting as movie progresses. But again, for me, mainly one male character, the long haired beefy guy, is the one who single handedly carries the movie.

Quaratine 19
Wow, this one here, it will mess with your head towards the end. I watched it over two nights. It's different, but if you stay with it, it gets very interesting. And you'll end up liking some of the characters you first might not have.
It's horror/suspense/mystery/thriller and more. Each character, for the most part, plays their role pretty good. A lot of time and thought was put into this movie, which is more than I can say for most modern horror movies these days.
It's worth a watch if you want something different.

Rumble Fish - 1983
One of the best movies ever made, ever choreographed, starring a young Matt Dillan. What a cult classic this movie has become. Made in 1983, yet even movies today can't match the scenic views and ambiance of this film.
It's produced more like a dream.

Steelmanville Rd (The prequel to 'bad ben'
Ahh, I haven't watched this one yet, and well, ahh...not sure what to make of it. I did get caught up in the 'bad ben' series of movies for a while, or at least the first 3 editions, but after that they got a bit goofy.
I can't rate this movie since haven't seen it, but just posting it incase someone wants to know it exists, and then maybe 'you' can watch it and make your own review elsewhere or even here, if brave enough to...lol.

Lady Ballers, finally conservative orientated media starts putting out some actually funny stuff, like how Liberals used to do long ago
This seems like a fun watch, and since made by conservative minded people, you don't have to worry about wokeness. The movie, obviously, is about the absurdity of wokeness going to far.
