The impact immigrants have on African America citizens
In two words, 'negative displacement'.
1. Social displacement
2. Economic displacement
3. Geographical displacement
First off I know every one is an individual and ultimately determines on fate regardless.
But then again, as a whole (if lumping people together by color and general sub culture), there are trends within African American community that are very damaging, and leave said community open to displacement on many levels by newly or even second, third, generation immigrants.
Certain uneducated types, who have never been outside of geographical area where they are small majority within a city, have this pre conceived notion that brown is brown, black is black, and get thrilled whenever they here this:
'In 20-30 years 'whites' will be the minority'
Certain types who are really dense, get thrilled and jump up and down when they hear such theoretical reports from the news.
But those who are traveled, have lived other places other than inner city communities, know that 'brown' can be just as, if not more racist and hostile towards blacks than modern day traditional whites.
First off, very few brown people identify with being African American.
Most brown peoples identify more with 'whites' both in mannerisms and identity.
Don't matter if the 'brown' is from South America, the Islands or Asia or the Middle East, most brown skinned people with straight hair identify more with whites or Europeans, than they do Africa or African Americans.
Unity and inclusion may look good in posters pushing a message, but in real life you just don't see it.
You just don't see different peoples from around the world rushing to embrace the African American or African socio/economic status or looks.
(And no, social pop trends don't count, or temporary social fads)(Just because a young Asian hobbit or white hobbit wants to learn how to breakdance or rap, doesn't mean they want to be 'black', not even)
On top of that, the Constitution, and laws of America are really the only place around the world, that garuntees 'blacks' first class status.
Many blacks living in America, confined to one small inner city area, totally take this for granted, and think the whole world, all Governments, try to be as fair to all it's citizens as America does in this current age....wrong!
In other nations color still impacts how one is treated in society, and yes it does in America to, but at least in America, even if someone doesn't like you, legally they cannot impede your social or fiscal progress.
(Well take a separate look at Islam, and how they relate to color or people of African heritage in later posts).
But right now I'm focusing on societies in general and how different peoples are perceived, or how 'blacks' are always perceived differently no matter the nation.
Then think about people migrating from these other nations, with their already low evaluation of 'blacks' then coming to America and bringing that social caste system with them.
In conclusion of this post, if certain uneducated inner city African Americans think the browning of America will somehow benefit them, they're in for a big ugly surprise.
Heck, that formula doesn't even work when even African Americans dominate a large portion of geographical areas, without the constant management and funding of 'white administrative over seers' the place goes all to hell and self destructs on all levels.
Lot's more to discuss ahead.
