To Serve Man, Chapter II
Who could ever forget this creepy image of Alien representative that landed on Earth (back in the 60's) and spoke telepathically to the U.N. about peaceful intentions and motives.
This is one Twilight Zone episode I think people have always wanted to see a part two of for years, decades in that what ever became of the humans once they arrived at alien planet?
Who can forget that scene as scientists assistant tries to tell Man not to get on spaceship cause they finally deciphered code, and it was a 'Cook Book'.
The Alien visitors were harvesting humans, shipping them back to home planet to eat, like cattle, 2 billion miles away.
Humans were boarding the spaceships as if going on vacation to Vegas or Disneyland. The women were dressed up in their finest, and the men were to, totally at ease and comfortable being shipped billions of miles across space to foreign destination.
But none of the people ever came back, and that's because Aliens were clever and made passengers sign a 10 year guest visa or of some sort so that people didn't expect them back for 10 years.
The question most have while watching this episode is 'How could people be so stupid?'
And as humans, we often like to see people suffer the consequence of their stupidity, and is why so many, over the years, have secretly wanted to see a conclusion to this episode, have wanted to see what happens once humans arrive on strange planet of giant human eating Martians.
Have wanted to see the 'horror' facial expressions of the passengers once they realize they're nothing but MEAT, to be eaten by Aliens and their pets.
But what if
But what if just a few survived the journey, somehow escaped, and led underground life on Alien planet with hopes of returning home someday.
It's a story that should be continued or explored.
A few humans escape, run and hide, find refuge either alone or amongst other Aliens which sympathize with them, as they observe and record what they see while trying to escape, steal space ship and make journey back to Earth to warn others.
This storyline in itself could carry a whole series.
(Any Authors out there with money and power feel free to develop this further)
I'm just doing so for fun, creative fun on this obscure blog forum.
So in the next few posts, for the fun of it we will explore the continuation of 'To Serve Man'...from many different angles, cause people deserve a better conclusion to this episode than how it ended.
Here's the original episode from the Twilight Zone to refresh memory.
