Is Slim Shady gay?
I kind of doubt it, but I think he has fun playing with that notion, messing with other peoples heads and minds.
After all he has all the money he ever needs now, so why not have fun.
Remember he comes from the streets, the real streets, he's not Hollywood created and born, he's street.
And now he's rich, only has a few loyal friends (Dr Dre) and others he grew up with. It really doesn't matter to him at this point what others think, he knows they'll continue to buy his music, see him perform, cause he knows on the inside most play with the idea of being 'gay' just as he does.
But any one who paid attention could tell from his early successful song 'Would the real slim shady please stand up' that he has always been open to cross personalities within.
It seems most every male has this fascination with 'cross dressing' at least at some phase in their life, just as women do.
People like to explore different roles within themselves, and do so while still 'soxy', instead of old and withered when no one cares anymore what you are.
I don't know or care what he is, but I do know he's an 'artist' and artist love having fun, pushing the envelope of acceptability, it's what they do, and why the sell albums, CD's and fill arenas.
One of my favorite videos or I should say songs ever of Slim Shady when he still had swagger and was totally himself, before he allowed his individuality to be smothered by Dre and the other darker elements of hip hop.
I wish Slim Shady (stage name) had never signed with Dre, and had developed totally on his own..(the same way I wish Tupac had never signed with Suge Knight and Death Row records).
When they both signed with these giants, their natural, gifted, unique talents just seemed to get smothered in pop rap, or pop hip-hop and they both kind of lost their unique flavor.
In this video you'll see Slim Shady playing around with his feminine side...
