This section will be for comments, observations of some of the best and worst Sci-Fi films, maybe not of all time, but just certain ones I notice that really stand out and have messages beyond the screen.

AIArtificial Intelligence is probably one of the most creepiest, yet telling, Sci-Fi movies to be released in last 30 years. It's one that seems to have been forgotten, and when released much controversy surrounded it..(which I may or may not get into later or you can discover on your own). It's both a bit creepy, and realistic in how it depicts the darker sides of human nature. Man is basically cruel, we're cruel to ourselves, we're cruel to animals, so why wouldn't we be cruel to images of our own likeness? This movie explores that idea or concept, and the society in which it's laid out is one that could very well occur in our own future. Right now I'm watching the movie in bits and pieces, but as film progresses I'll add a comment or two as I feel moved to do so.

Token 'black' injected into role or character to lessen Nazi referenceThis movie, when first written, reviewed by 'critics' was compared to 'Nazis' in it's theme. So of course when film was being made, you'll notice how they inject token 'black' characters into key roles to defuse any White supremacist notations. (black man can't get job managing McKonalds restaurant, yet in movie made head of robot death squad..ye ok) Like in screen shot from above, notice how they make head camera guy of murderous circus scene 'black'. This is all done by design. Kind of the way Fox News will inject 'black' guests or anchors to express sentiment that Klan would normally express...but since person expressing it is 'black', than it's not racist or harmful...duh... Media people really think, count on their audience being dumb and unable to pic up on stuff like this.

Watching the original 'The Fly' movie Original version. It seems kind of sad actually, I've never watched it all before and had no idea Vincent Price was in it. He played the brother of the guy who turned into the fly. I doubt I'll finish watching it all cause it's to distracting.

Robo Cop 2014
Even though this is an older movie, I'm watching now on Amazon Prime, and it's not to bad actually.
I've only had to fast forward a few times during boring romantic moments

Super Nova Added a trailer cover in case video doesn't work or is removed later on. But ye, this is one bad azz space horror/sci-fi type of movie, right up there with 'Event Horizon'. It's an older movie, but also reminds me that when there was less studios pumping out movies, the big box studios did a better all around job on production and hired way better actors than today's crank em out cracker jack box movies. And the villain in this movie is one of the most formidable villains ever, and kind of wish they had survived just to see their plan or vision come to premonition. The so called 'bad guy', in this movie reminds me of another character from another movie..an all blue naked man who basically was atomic..only his character was 'good'. But had this character in Super Nova had been allowed to grow, I think eventually he'd of been unstoppable.

But had this character in Super Nova had been allowed to grow, I think eventually he'd of been unstoppable. Often times, the so called 'good guys', or 'good team', is simply fighting for the establishment class, a class that more and more people are beginning to resent, whereas the villains are usually fighting to disrupt the system, that many may see as oppressors.
But in the movies, the current power structure is always seen as 'good'.

Terminator Genisys 2015
This falls more into sci-fi thriller, but that being said, how did I miss this one when it came out?
it's kind of f reboot of the original terminator with a lot of odd twists to it. Still watching, so final verdict not out yet, but the visuals are gratifying.

Elysium - Matt Damon
Watching this on Amazon now, it's not a bad movie at all. Always happy when can still catch 'A' actors in sci-fi movies, cause the over all production is usually always better.
But now, the movie verse is so saturated with studios, that you rarely see the same unknown actor once, it's like their all one and done now.
But ye, still watching this one, and if like action mixed in with sci-fi, you might like it.

Europa Report
This is one of those movies where I had to first see then ending of it, before then curious enough to go back and watch it again, or at least watch all the parts I fast forwarded through.
Once you put it all together, it will stoke your interest.

I'm watching Jurassic world on Amazon.
I'm always annoyed at how they always give the dinosaurs human like behavior, as in attitude and growls.
Lizards, reptiles, do not have human emotions and are not motivated by the same factors. Reptiles don't get angry and hold grudges, but in the movies they most certainly do. Man is basically injecting his own personality into these dinos in the Jurassic park movies.
Dinosaurs don't scream and hold grudges, and don't obsess over one human for a meal. In these movies, the dino's always look mean and grouchy, but again, that's a human trait, not a reptile trait one.

Yep, it really annoys me how the Jurrasic park movies make the dinosaurs yell and scream like humans. They basically give the dinosaurs human like emotions, and make them seem grouchy and mean. Reptiles are not human! for crying out loud.
Reptiles aren't mean, or nice, they just eat when hungry. I mean you don't see alligators growling and roaring and frowning in nature.
I wish the writers would stop making the dinosaurs act and behave like grouchy humans.

Also, in these Jurassic movies, it's absurd and arrogant to think that the dinosaurs would be so obscessed with humans. I mean if anything, the raptors, ect, would be avoiding the humans, not chasing them around for sport. Again, they give the dinosaurs way to many human like traits, almost like cartoon characters or something.

Riddick
Up until now, I've only managed to see bits and pieces of this film over the years, but now watching whole movie on Amazon, and it hasn't disappointed me, even though sure, it's older now, but it still lives up, and I can only imagine how much cutting edge it was, or would of been to me, if I had seen it 10 years ago, or whenever it came out.
I think this is his best movie, I don't really like him in the Fast and Furious franchises.

Aliens Covenant
This one is decent, and apart of the aliens series or prequels.
In the end, kind of turns out that man is responsible for everything bad in the Universe, even the aliens, go figure.
