Hmm, I've been to both, and must say I prefer same sox clubs, establishments, not do to the 'action' but do to the environment, the pace. Whenever I go to same sox club, not much is initially expected of me, accept to be myself, as zany and colorful as that might be. It's hard to explain, but at same sox clubs, as a person you your given more 'range'. Now a homophobe type would automatically think that means being as yogarted as you want, no, that's not what I'm talking about, cause you can find plenty of perversion at hetrosoxual clubs, if not more. When I say 'range' I'm referring to artistic range, as in body art, hair, personal style and as such. You can explore sides of yourself in the name of art, without being labeled or ridiculed..(at least the places I've been to). Same sox clubs, at least for males, are very rigid in the type of role you must play and are expected to perform which is basically to drool over women covered with wax, who are fake from head to toe, and shallow inside. I find people at same sox clubs to be very dishonest and fake. But still I go to both from time to time just for different experience.

As a non hood, non urban, person of color, I'd never really fit in at a urban hip hop type club, where 'G's show up who can barely speak proper English, insecure as 'F' on the inside, always ready to fight and prove crap to impress some artificially made up woman. That's just not my scene. I guess we all go out for different reasons, I go out to talk and mingle and actually get to know people and their experience in life (while having fun over a drink or two). I find that's not really possible at same sox clubs, where all the women want from you is money and to compliment their boobs. I've actually met more women at same sox clubs...straight women, than I ever have at opposite sox clubs. Hetro clubs tend to be violent, lots of fights, guns, at least urban kind that cater to the hip hop types. As such I avoid clubs that cater to the single parent urban crowd like the plaque. People have it wrong if they think same sox clubs are only about people grabbing you. You have a lot of people in pain, who just want to talk openly about issues without being ridiculed. And if you're confident in your own soxuality, you don't have to worry about anyone taking advantage of you. But if a weak closet type, than nothing will happen to you that you really didn't want to after a few cocktails.

Excuse me, excuse me, I don't mean to intrude, but could I interest you all in some body oils? I mean you talking about clubs and all, body oils, fragrance, can enhance your time out. What you all discussing anyhow?

When it comes to clubs I'm not into extremes in that I can't stand, would never go to a straight up hip-hop type of club where people are wearing gold teeth, and all the woman have booty and every ones behaving like a pimp or player or 'G'. That's just not my style. Nor would I go to club that was gay, where people are committing lude acts on the stairs, in the hall, bathroom ect. I prefer more metropolitan clubs, bars, where the dolls are in their late 20's, 30's, young working professionals, or even grad students. I like a club with more of a jazz feel to it, where the music played, artist featured, are a bit more musically sophisticated than pop or hip-hop pop. As far as gays being more accepting of others, they are not, individually they can be just as prejudice, mean and hateful as heterosoxual dolls. Gay or straight, every doll has their social preference on whom they want to hang around with and are attracted to. Being gay doesn't give one special 'nice' powers. Gay dolls are just like hetro dolls in that they have moods, tastes, preferences, and belief systems. The gay lifestyle is not anything I want anything to do with though. Deep down inside, at least for me, I still feel it's wrong to become romantically involved with doll of the same gender. But like the clowns often say on here, maybe in the end none of it matters, I mean gay or not we all get old, sick whither and then die. And once dead not sure if it'll matter whom you liked or love or hated while alive.
