'The Heat'
A fun comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.
This film really works, kind of has some 'Lesbian' over tones to it, but in light hearted way.
Melissa McCarthy is like a female version of Joe Pesci (Goodfellas)
She's hard hitting, loud and blunt, and Sandra Bullock compliments her well as the 'straight' one...meaning the 'stiff'.
Like Gilligan and the Skipper, or Laural and Hardy or Abbot and Costello....comedy works best when you have straight performer and animated one.
The contrast of characters is where the comedy comes into play if applied right.
This is a fun movie, lots of swearing though, but will definitely make you chuckle many times.

Hot Shots part deux
Don't think I've ever seen this movie all the way through, but watching it this evening found myself entertained.
It's like a parody of all the action movies of the 80's and 90's.
Definitely worth a mention if you like light hearted action parody comedy.

Going South starring Jack Nicholson
I had to go back far for this one, but Amazon happened to have it on, and even though a western, when I saw Jacks face on the cover, I knew I had to watch and glad I did cause one thing about Jack, while in his prime, he always 'brought it', and this movie here had me laughing more than any movie has in a very long time.
I miss open, non politically correct script writing from days gone by.
When writers weren't afraid to be funny, and actors didn't hold back.
Sure, this movie some what tame by today's standards, but if want a few good laughs for sure check this wholesome funny Western movie out.

How high - Method man, Red Man
If into old school hip-hop, than you know these are two absolute hip-hop legends paired up to create this comedy about two hood guys who have no business being in college, let alone Harvard, but manage to get in do to a 'ghost' friend cheating for them.
I know, sounds weird, but people didn't watch this movie for some logical plot, they watch it for the same reasons people watch Cheet's and Chong movies, for antics.
It's playing on Amazon right now, and well, just felt like watching some of it just do to Method man and Red man being in movie together, and it made me laugh, it made me laugh in ways, chuckle in ways, that only politically incorrect movies could do, back then, that today's movies just really can't cause everyone's afraid to offend this or that person.
It's sad, yet revealing how you have to go back 20 years or so, maybe 10, maybe 5, point is you have to go back to just get a good laugh in movies anymore seeing as every thing is off limits now, so even today's comedians afraid they could offend someone or group and get caonceled.
This movie will give you some chuckles, if you're not to much of a moral prude, it came out in 2001, boy how time fly's.
It's worth a watch, if bored, or even if just need an escape from today's socially correct productions.

I know this seems obvious and stupid, but outside of golfers and maybe Fraternal college orders, many have forgotten just how much of a off beat classic this movie here is.
Watch, not if just want to laugh, but also if want to laugh at 'self'
