Most born in the West, or at least English speakers, tend to automatically assume sister or cousin languages like Spanish, or French or Italian are easier for mind to comprehend...maybe not. English speakers tend to shy away from more ancient languages like Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and so forth... But what if the mind actually better comprehends the above type of writing? One never knows until they try. I've been trying to learn Spanish for years, and it just doesn't stick...maybe it's time to try to learn completely different language structure and see what happens.

English speakers always assume Spanish is easiest language to learn, what if wrong?Everyone is different, and maybe Spanish isn't the easiest language to learn, maybe some people brains are better suited to learn Arabic or Chinese or Native American languages.

View Attachment To add to this, maybe for typical American, French, or Italian, or German, or some Russian dialect, easier to learn, than Spanish. I think maybe easier to learn language of culture you're actually fascinated by. Me, myself, I love the Italian language, and would love to learn native Italian. I think I'd be more impressed with self if could dialogue with an Italian, rather than someone who crossed border from Mexico...I don't know, just saying. French, no, to me Italian language is like the French language on steroids, so may try to learn Italian. Asian dialects?...not really interested. Middle Eastern dialects, nah...I kind of want to learn Italian, that's where my love and passion is for some reason, but will that translate into better or quicker comprehension? Only time will tell..
