Fusion Jazz (hit full screen mode and even more amazing)
The Zone is everything and knows about everything, even Fusion Jazz, that period from around 1975 to 1989 when some of the best musicians every assembled created non pop chart music.
Silent musicians one could say, who have pretty much remained under the radar for most of if not all of their careers, except for here in the zone.
'A warriors song'...back when dreams were possible, sing on Stanly Clark.

Not really Fusion jazz, may change title of thread to fit broader jazz base.
So few are left, who can relate to this song anymore, either you can or you can't, there's no middle ground.
Either you have the memories or do not.
These were strong innocent days, and summers, and struggles, love and romance.
Gone forever except in the minds, souls and hearts of those who know, knew and felt.

One of the most touching light contemporary Jazz songs I've heard in a long time, the song is kind of sad though when you listen to the lyrics.
(added note)
Not really fusion jazz, but still this song is so touching, and this artist deserves attention.

A Ramsey Lewis and Earth Wind and Fire collaboration 1975
A wonderful collaboration of music mastery.
I was first introduced to fusion jazz while very young, and my love and appreciation for it has lasted ever since.

Another Fusion Jazz era classic
Fusion Jazz types are a very special class of souls...this ones for you all.
My older brother was into this fusion stuff...can remember them forcing me to listen to it when younger.
I miss those days, I really do.

If into old style fusion type jazz, than you'll forgive me for this..yes, they should be here, but maybe this isn't the exact song, oh well, time is short,...love all of you older fusion Jazz types the types with class, who use to dress up to go out, I miss you all, but the Zone has your back, forever.

Sorcery
These fusion jazz artist, all of them, played with such intensity.
Fusion Jazz is like Jazz equivalent of Heavy Metal, it's just the tones aren't as sharp, or even 'Speed Metal', with softer tones.
What a underrated and forgotten era of both music and musicians.
