Gov John Kasich's 2016 campaign notes and comments.........................................(A Rising Star)............................................I create sections for candidates whom I feel warrant one, who I feel are interesting enough to carry a whole thread by themselves, Gov John Kasich is such a individual. I think he's a man who will only rise in the polls as others drop out of race. And I think he could be in it till the end, if I didn't, wouldn't waste time creating a whole thread just for him. I feel he will eventually or could be a Jeb Bush alternative, a Bush without the name, only a bit more likable to say, 'blacks', gays ect. But also his likability by others than just hardened GOP or 'right wingers', will make him a target of sumicion by talk radio hosts like Limbaugh and Hannity and Savage and Laura I, and Mark Levin and Glenn Becks crew and all the rest. Expect talk radio hosts to attack him based on his broad appeal. If talk radio hosts could invent, manifest, the type of President they wanted, the creature from their thoughts would be unelectable... What I'm saying is what talk radio hosts want, and what is electable aren't always the same. Talk radio hosts only have to appeal to a small niche of listeners, Presidential candidates have to appeal to a much larger crowd, a much more diverse crowd, and John Kasich kind of has that ability, unlike some of his rivals. And over time I'll slowly give each candidate whom I feel actually is a serious contender to win, or be in till the end, I'll give them their own thread, Twylightzone Real estate in which to study them more closely in a non pop culture way. Rand Paul has his own thread, but it was created before he announced his 2016 campaign intentions, how ever I do feel he needs some advice, cause right now his campaign is having issues with the whole public image thing. Anyways this posts that follow will be about John Kasich, the person and his campaign in a fair and upright manner.

John Kasich and the Beatles?John Kasich kind of reminds me of one of the Beatles, has same Beatles hair cut when younger. Who knows, maybe he's the one meant to unite instead of Trump, whom so far just seems to be stirring up stuff. Kasich is a cool cat, and will be given a fair and even platform on here by the Zone.

Although one thing hippie minded people from the 60's need to realize is that in todays world, many people they want to embrace, then turn around and exploit their kindness, and don't in turn extend that 'peace love and joy' mentality to others.
Many immigrants aren't very loving people at all, ye sure they pretend to be as long as few in numbers, but when dominant in region or neighborhood, they're just as ugly, or more so, just as racists, or more so, just as prejudice, or more so, than people accuse Anglo Americans of being.
Hippies are cool, had cool vision, but sometimes they're a bit detached from the darker side of human nature that many others display.

John Kasich knows real life, Rubio and Cruz only know partisan rhetoric, here's whySadly for John Kasich, his campaign hasn't gained much traction, because sadly his campaign is based on real life reality, and not talk radio hype and ideology. Becoming a Governor mellows one out, as Governor you actually have to 'run things', you get to see what works and what doesn't. And as Governor you're not as steeped in 'ideology' as you are in practicality. On the other hand, since Senators and Congressmen only represent a small demographic of people, their primary job is to be as rhetorical as they can, and to malign those of the 'other party', in order to keep getting elected. When you look at the GOP campaign trail you can see the administrative maturity between the Governors running vs the Senators or Congressmen, it's like night and day. Once elected rhetoric gets nothing done, zero, and Governors know this, have learned it. Governors also learn you can't malign 'the other party' all the time just for points, cause once a Governor you're working with all parties, negotiating with all parties and then some, all people, all parties, all groups. Senators, on the other hand, like Ted Cruz, their only job is to represent one tiny group of people, or lobbyist ect, and is why Senators like Ted Cruz sound so ugly and cruel to many, cause Ted Cruz has never served 'many', he's only served special interests. It's why Cruz, Rubio sound more like talk radio hosts than they do seasoned politicians who have Governed. Kasich knows real life, Rubio and Cruz simply know partisan rhetoric.

The zone is accurate when it comes to predicting things, elections, and the pulse of reality. Every one but everyone totally dismissed John Kasich as already being out of race, yet tonight John Kasich finished a strong second in New Hampshire primary. A very strong 2nd place finish behind Trump and ahead of Rubio, Cruz and Bush!!Read above quote, you'll see way back in 2015 the zone new something about Kasich that others did not. Don't count the man out yet. All the polls were wrong...the zone is never wrong...is it magic or something else?

Say what you want about John Kasich, but he's knocking it out the ball park at tonight's town hallJohn Kasich is hitting it out of the ball park tonight, like him or not, he seems the most prepared and mature of the remaining 3 candidates. Kasich and Trump are the only candidates, out of 17, that were given their own sections on here. No one ever thought Kasich would still be around, but the zone knew. What else does the zone know. Will never get credit, but the zone knew...read first post. Kasich was also the only candidate to not allow Anderson Cooper to control tone of town hall, Kasich made Anderson look like the smut tabloid school hobbit he really is, Kasich took control rather than allowing Anderson Cooper to run the show, and for that reason alone I do thank Kasich. I wish Trump had that ability.
