Jack links beef sticks, TeriyakiYuk, what else can I say. When you consume a product for years, you become sensitive to slight changes in product, and this last teriyaki beef stick I bought tastes like it has already been digested! It tastes like dog sticks, the kind of treats you'd buy for your dog. There's no texture to it, like it's been pulverized into paste. News flash Jack, people who buy beef jerky like the natural gritty, jerky texture, it's why we buy it. If we or I didn't want the tough texture I'd eat a hot dog instead. Tell your chemist and board members to quit 'sanitizing' this product. We are animals, yes, man is a animal, we like to chew on things, beef jerky was designed to give you something to chew on in your mouth without instantly dissolving. But now product so pulverized that it tastes like paste, or spam meat. Men know this, males know this, so who is it in company that's making the texture change in product? Whoever they are tell them to stop trying to sanitize and sissify this product or more people will be turned off by it like I was today.

slim jim mild Tastes like mush, like it's already been digested or something, soft and mushy. That's not how beef jerky is suppose to taste!! Get tired of new people in these companies always watering down the ingredients, always trying to tame the taste and texture of these new younger soft types who cry if there's crust on the bread! Yet these newer younger soft types are viscious as F on the streets when they act out....but their mouths are to delicate to bite into a real slim jim? I'm disappointed man, slim jims use to have a punch, and texture to the jerky...now this one I bought tastes like mush, like they took the 'jerk' out of it...what's the point of beef jerky if you can't chew on it a while before you swallow.

Tall Boy 'Hatch Green Chile (Dukes) Bought this the other day, and must say, not bad, not bad at all, not to micy hot, and the texture was just about right, rough and grangy, like I remember beef jerky tasting as a youth. If like beef jerky that still has 'jerk' to it, than you'll like Tall Boy. I bought mine at a travel center, forget which one.
