Why ISIS failed, or is failing, and or other similar groups
1. Because they're just to brutal, mean and cruel, and in the long run such brutality doesn't attract followers or converts, but rather makes people run away from it.
ISIS wanted to form a 'State', but people living in that 'State', still want civility, to be treated fairly, and to raise their hobbits, go to work, school, college, buy a house, home, land ect, ISIS made that near impossible for those within their State. Human nature is human nature, and even the most brute amongst us, still want civility after a while, ISIS never really gave them that.
2. They used violence and bloodshed, instead of Love, compassion and understanding, to keep people in control.
Again, people tend to fight harder for 'you', any group, that offers liberation, not subjugation.
Word gets around about how brutal people are, and after a while, such group only attracts the mentally insane.
I never understood how ISIS ever thought their empire would or could last, by treating people so visciously cruel.
People just aren't going to be loyal to that, fearful yes, loyal, no.
To be in constant fear, dread, all of the time, what normal human being, or any life form, wants that?
ISIS was doomed from the beginning cause their charter was just way to dark.
They really had nothing to offer regular citizens who just wanted to live normal lives.
The only ones attracted there were younger males full of testosterones, but even they, after a while, realized such a life couldn't be sustained, and many snuck back out to home lands in Europe, or elsewhere where things were more stable.
People want stability above and beyond all, stability, a future, and to not be in constant fear of fellow ISIS members turning on you to gain 'rank' by ratting you out.
That's stressful, to live like that all of the time.
ISIS, their model of brutality, was Doomed from the beginning, cause you just cannot build an Empire and sustain it on pure darkness, people flee away from darkness, even Muslims, is why so many flee to 'The West'.
3. They present 'God' or 'Allah' as this dark blood thirsty deity that just likes to kill people for the fun of it.
Again, no State, in modern times, can run a Government, gain legitimacy with world, by embracing such dark practices.
To be a 'State' in modern times, you have to do business with companies, get investors to invest in infulstructure, have an Ambassador, currency ect and more.
The leaders of ISIS never seemed to think about any of this, just seemed to want to shoot their way to the top, and once on top, continue shooting and brutalizing, that model was doomed to fail from the beginning, many lives wasted for nothing.
In order for Empire to form, eventually the shooting, killing, torturing, has to end, but they, ISIS, just never seemed to figure that out, cause sooner or later people will rebel.
Same with Al Quada (or however it's spelled).
These groups would have way way more appeal and credibility if not so damn brutal to others.
People want to be protected, not harmed and abused, but these groups can never seem to figure that out and just seem to have a charter of brutality, and somehow think that will win the hearts of people, wrong!
To be continued.
