Before the advent of cell phones and all, one can only imagine all the undocumented injustice black folks went through and still go through in this nation, even with cameras to record.

And then for years, so many condescending 'W' citizens would tell 'B' citizens that it's all in your head, you're making it up, just act or behave this way and all will be fine, when these videos show time and time again none of that matters, if you're a 'B' person or of color, living in heavily populated 'W' area, this will occur to you daily...
Not a officer involved here, but what it does demonstrate is how most 'whites' just feel it's still slavery days, and as such have blind immunity to just still treat black citizens like 'property'....and sadly this mindset does spill over into law enforcement.

I'm not going to air the Floyd death as officer kneeled on his neck...I about cried, and not much makes me want to cry, but seeing any life form struggle to breathe like that, and not to 'let off'....I just don't understand that type of heartlessness, and worse when people like that wear badges.

They want to defund the Police
Certain groups want to defund the police departments in major cities, hmm
Some times I wonder if the Klan and other more modern racist groups have infultrated the Democrat Party.
If you defund the Police here's what will occur
1. Drug lords will take over the streets, drug lords foreign and domestic
2. No one will respond to 911 calls from defunded police areas and Ambulances and fire trucks will not show up if no police presence to protect them, so people in those areas would have to drive person to hospital own their own, and put out fires with buckets and garden hoses, like in the 1920's
3. Rapes will increase, domestic violence will increase in those areas if no fear of the law to stop it or interview or pass out restraining orders....places with no police, no law, would be worse than a living hell for women....with no police, women in the hood would see the true ugly nature of males come out, and would be reduced to 3rd class citizens like how ISIS did their women.
4. Without police, anyone could break in your house, and would, anyone would steal your car, right in front of you, and who would you call to report it?
5. Everyone would become armed, I mean you think bloodshed high now in the hood areas, wait until no police.
6. No business would set up shop in areas with no police, all stores would vacate, all local chains like Walmart would leave areas, Amazon and more, would up and leave, now such areas would become like Haiti, a gigantic mound of dirt, with people living on it.
7. Plumbers, electricians, any type of public utility workers wouldn't show up to fix anything, I know I wouldn't.
And I could go on and on and on, basically those who could leave would, especially the black/minority women who would flood into 'white areas' for safety.
Good black men would try, but would be driven out by hysterical racism.
So ye, no police?, good luck.
A better solution would be to stop committing crimes, so that the police don't have to show up to begin with...hmm, but that's to easy of a solution.

Just about every other officer in that department, back in 2010 or so, should of been committed to a mental hospital.

Let the rich politicians and goofy social activist experiment with this no police idea first in their neighborhoods
Let the rich politicians and goofy Ivy league social activist live their lives with no Police, let them try that experiment first in their own lives, communities, before denying people in poorer communities and cities, who need the police the most, that safety net between order and complete utter chaos.
Until Jesus returns and ushers in new 'Heaven' where all sin or sinful nature eradicated, until that occurs, law enforcement will always be nesissary.
And you will always need the Police to lock up 'bad people' who physically hurt others, and or to investigate crime so they're not to roam freely and prey again.
This idea of a society without Police is like some theme straight out of a horror movie.

Here's the thing, I want to live.
So if I ever encounter a officer of the law I'm going to comply 100%, I mean even if they want me to take off my clothes and walk naked, I'll do it, why not?
If at the end of our encounter I can put clothes back on and go home, than what do I care?
If anything such an incident might make me famous if modeling agency saw how soxy my body was.
But all that aside, I don't get people who make officers jobs so difficult, I mean why??
'Get out of the car'
Me = 'Sure thing'
'Strip naked so I can search you'
Me = 'Sure thing'
What's the big deal.
Officer calms down, does paper work, and I get to go home.
What's the big deal man, just comply if asked to.

Me, myself, I don't ever do things that put me in contact with the police, or anyone as far as that goes.
1. I don't cruise around the streets at night in rough and or even in safe parts of the city/town.
2. I don't do, take, or traffic illegal drugs.
3. I don't abuse anyone, other than myself I suppose.
4. I don't steal stuff, I don't rob people
5. I don't go to protests and yell in the face of officers
6. I don't speed, or drive reckless
7. I don't shoplift
8. I don't commit 'white collar' crime either
I mean there's no reason for me to have encounters with police, unless get in accident on roadway, but other than that, there's no reason.
I suppose one could and do at times get falsely accused of stuff they didn't do...but again because I rarely go out, I'm never seen anywhere.
But that being said I realize my experience isn't other peoples experience, and I realize 'things just happen' fast and suddenly for some.
I think some cops just get 'hard' doing stuff like this.
