External DVD drive and or writer
I just bought this today...'LG' Ultra slim portable DVD Writer...
But all I got it for is to once again be able to play movies on computer.
I made the mistake (like many) of doing last upgrade on Microsoft, and when did, suddenly found that DVD player no longer read or played discs, which left you with only option to download...(screw that)
So instead went out and purchased external drive, and so far so good, I so miss being able to play movies, see movies from own computer screen, which you can then 'crop' scenes...that's the whole point.
On computer you can 'grab' movie scenes and write narratives on them or just enjoy.
I paid $39.00 or so for this product at Best Buy.
And so far happy with it..easy installation...comes with wizard disk and all.
Also has host of other features with it that haven't studied yet, photo editing, video editing and more.
I just got it to watch movies on own PC again.
I'm so happy and delighted that I bought this product, only wish I had done so months ago, or even a year ago.
I do recommend this product for those who want DVD capability again on computer without shady, dark, malware filled downloads...
