Why the ending of the move 'King Kong' makes me so sadFew things or events or movies bring tears to my eye, but the ending of King Kong does, all 3 or 4 versions. I can never watch the ending of any version of King Kong without kind of tearing up, not so much do to Ape dying, but rather relating Ape's situation to own life, or others, in that must of us are metaphorically or literally killed for doing the right thing. Kong, thought he was protecting 'woman' he held in hands, and for that was slaughtered. I mean whether you watch this early crude version of Kong, from the 1920's, or the most current release of Kong movie from 2017, it's still the same thing, Kong wasn't 'evil', yet still slain in that those attacking him to 'flat brained' to take the time to figure him out. And the same parallel befalls many of us alive today, who will meat similar fate, in that world seems to excellerate the destruction of that which it doesn't understand, yet is good. Number one being 'Jesus'... I mean indeed, if Jesus indeed was 'God in the flesh', than how could God himself come down to Earth, to save others, just to be sent packing by angry mobs? It just seems sad to me that true 'saints' have to be packed and sent, before then people appreciate what they did, who they were and the stuff they left behind, yet while alive, zero appreciation. In closing...many will perish like Kong, protecting the innocent, yet shot down and slain, made the enemy by global non thinking zombie types, who act without thinking.

The Avengers, Infinity Wars
Wow, I must say this was a good movie, a decent movie.
I watch very few movies from start to end anymore straight through, but this one I did.
1. The special effects rivaled that of Star Wars
2. The characters were all mostly easy to relate to
3. The supposed hero's didn't always win (which made it a bit more believable
4. Even the villain or villain's were very cool
It was a decent Marvel movie.
I actually think they kind of stole a bit from the 'X-men' though (hard to explain right now)
On a side note, odd how these characters, the ones who don't use mechanical machinery for their powers, have 'God' like powers, where do they draw such energy for and if only 'Jesus' had had those kind of powers.
I really hope 'Man' didn't make up stories of the bible the way modern man, Cinema, makes of fictional stories about 'saviors of the world'.
Super Man, and so many more now.
I think man, obviously, is tired of waiting on 'God' to return from the sky, so instead creates humans who have god like powers.
But in the end, none of these super hero's could resurrect anyone after they die, they can bring you back from brink of death.
I think Yoda could, I remember in Star Wars Yoda came back as a spirit, still looking old and reptile like (what fun is that to come back in same withered body as when old?)
Anyways, the New Avenger movie on Netflix is worth watching, if into that kind of stuff.

I am now about to watch 'The Hills Have Eyes'. I'd love to have family like that, not cannibals, but rather family that stuck together no matter what. (referring to mutants) img.dotphoto.com/i/f/B389CC86-C3EE-4942-BC10-10AFF87A11E7/276539563.jpg Sadly, most of us tend to outgrow own birth family after a while, and they become more strangers to you than actually 'strangers'.

I'm just getting sick of 'ethnically correct' movies, or how people are cast...it's gross actually.
Where they'll have like 4 W people, and then just throw in a B person to be correct...and the one B person they toss into visual, never has any character, and no real purpose other than to satisfy a 'visual' correctness...
No other nation on this planet is so obsessed with being ethnically correct than America, or American film makers, to the point where it just feels 'forced'...thus I do not bother watching.

I do love 'diversity' but it has to be or feel natural, and not forced, in movies, more times than not, diversity just feels so 'forced'..
Example, a B chick with South Miami accent is not going to be hanging out with 2 W dudes and 3 W chicks from Northern Idaho, as they escape to cabin for weekend get away, just to get chased by Vietnam maniac...
I mean come on people...

I've gotta reset 'who can view' restrictions on here...coming soon.
That being said, most horror movies in the 'west' are seen, written, through the lens of 'W' writer or creator....so you're basically seeing 'horror' as seen through 'Anglo'.
You're seeing what 'scares them', but maybe not 'you'.
This is interesting, very much so.
May even adapt this idea into online radio segment and see where it leads.

Harrison Ford
The Indiana Jones series, seem to have been the last movies where Harrison Ford's character or characters were allowed to have fun and show emotion.
Seems all movies he starred in after that, his characters were always sad, like the guy who played the Incredible Hulk...Bill Bixby.
Bill Bixby's character Dr David Bruce Banner, was always so sad on that show, always looked depressed, and the same with Harrison Ford's characters.
Seems Harrison Ford always chose characters with sad tragic lives, after the Indiana Jones series.
And when his characters did smile, if ever, it was one of those 'I'll smile now, for a second, but I just know something terrible will happen 5 minutes from now'....type of smile.

I hate the way woman are portrayed in action or military movies as always being so self centered, and bratty and not taking orders from men, or any superior, seriously
Yes, I get annoyed by how women don't seem to take their role in military institutions very seriously, and even though wanting to be taken seriously like 'men', in the movies all they do is flaunt their feminality.
And again, I know it's just movies, and it's usually males who write these scripts, but these men really do do the women a disservice by portraying them in that kind of bratty younger sister role.
There have been a few warrior women who do actually carry out the role good, one being that Hispanic lady in the first 'Resident Evil'. And in one of the 'Alien' sequels, there was a tough lady and her man, maybe more, can't remember. And maybe one in one of the 'Matrix' films.
But in general, women usually portrayed as bratty and arrogant, and always roll their eyes when a man gives them an order.
Why would a script writer make women appear that way?
I was in boot camp once, and it wasn't like that, in that in real life women did not in no way act the way they act in TV roles.
In real life a order was a order, and if woman didn't obey order or rolled eyes, they'd get yelled at and barked at just as harshly as if a male did it.

Ye, I'm watching a pretty interesting sci-fi flick right now about Earth Cadets who are trained to fight space insects. For it's day it's a pretty solid movie, and can even see a few space scenes that Star Wars borrowed from. But the annoying part of this movie are the female characters who train along with the men, even shower with them, I just find that annoying. Cause in scenes, the women keep flaunting their 'soxuality' while wanting to be seen as hard as the men they're with. You can't have it both ways. These female characters can't say or insist 'treat me like a man', while acting like a 's' word. Some men get resentful of that, and is why whenever women present around men, conflict arises, jealousy and other natural emotions. Being soxy, and being able to manipulate other peoples biological reaction gives women an advantage in certain situations. A woman will get sympathy where a man, who may be just as scared on the inside, will not. So if gonna cast women in these roles, wish they'd make them act like generic men, rather than bratty little sister types who want to flaunt their new found soxuality.

And all the emotions to, in real life, people don't react the way they do in movies, I mean I know that's why it's called 'acting', but still. Like after battle field victory, people don't jump up and down as if at college football game, cause they know it's not over, and that once you relax like that, bad things can happen.
But in this movie I"m watching now, to many 'parting glances', to many smiles, emotions, clean shaven faces, perfect hair cuts. Ask any Iraqi vet was war really like that.

Owen Wilson Owen Wilson, the off beat comedic blonde male actor, makes me laugh for some reason. Non only do I like them, but they make me laugh, they have a unique 'casual' type of humor, and watching them perform helps me to get through every day mundane moments. They, themselves, are often cast in every day roles where character seemingly apart of every day dull routine, but then their character brings extra dimension to the role, like only they could make shopping at a grocery store seem like an adventure, with humor to be found around every isle. I'm watching them in a movie now where they're some kind of orderly at a Senior home, and even Will Ferro is in it, and he to has the ability to make ordinary situations in movies seem hyper adventurous. But in this movie, which takes place in a small town setting, only in the movies would a hot, model looking lady, be dating a cashier, or Manager of a small Piggly Wiggly type grocery store. But that's what makes the movies he's in so fun, cause they kind of give me hope. But for real, where I stay you'd never see some hot model looking babe dating any guy who worked at a grocery store, unless maybe the guy was young and in college type of thing, but not full time. I just don't think male cashiers are sought after by hot model looking women, I could be wrong though
