Right down the tracks
Not sure how to classify this song, it's like 'heartland' type music or 'prairie land' type of music, it's not country or nor is it really 'rock', it's more like maybe 'pop folk'??
Either way, I love this song, such a forgotten classic to those raised in like the 'badlands' of America, as in the Dakotas, Montana, long ago rural Arizona, and more.
Back when things sure felt way more certain than they do now, that's for sure.
Top 200 favorite song, in no particular order.

Everlast 'What it's like
This is when rural white guys started becoming cool to me, I don't mean country western cool, but 'groove', hip, type of cool.
One of the best most tight songs ever, came out in the early 2000's I believe.
(The video's a bit annoying to me, but love the song)

The beginnings - Chicago
Like watching beautiful ghosts from all of our pasts, at least the old timers pasts.
I love this song, would hear it in background as a youth, and so embedded in me.
One thing about the Zone, is the Zone is all over the place, many times, years, people, cultures, experiences and more, so if close minded, you might get a bit confused here; the Zone is not 'you'...the Zone is life, liberty, justice, free expression, Love and more.
More so than even many so called 'religious' types.
Top 200 songs of all times, Oh the memories, those,.... who during this innocent video in their prime, who have left us.
In the Zone you live on.

What you won't do for love
Living in shared quarters, when replayed the ending of this song like 100 times, them ghetto folks thought I was crazy, but earned 'cred'..plus I was drunk.
But loved this song long before that moment..and one of those bands I thought was 'black' when actually Bobby Caldwell is a white dude..and talented as hell.
Top 200 songs of all times.

I want to Love you Pretty young thing...the one and only MJ
Tears, what else can I say, all the dreams, rural land babes stuck in Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska on Friday and Saturday nights dreaming, all the early 80's urban babes, when having 'class' was in style. Here in the zone you live...tears and memories.
Your lovers may have left you, dreams dissolved, but the Zone is still here.
Thanks MJ for your passion and love for music, you gifted the planet Earth with many great songs.

In My system
How else to follow up a MJ song with a wanna be MJ song by 'System', these guys had 'groove' for sure, and this was a very hot song back in the day that's still to this day so underated.
As such I place it in the top 200 songs, groves, ever (at least when it comes to pop culture music)..but ye, this song for sure qualifies to be here, cutting edge for sure, and techno timeless, will make you want to dance no matter your age.

Yes, there was a time when blacks and Hispanic were 'tight' prior to the Cartels influence, greed and profit. This is the song of the current generations grandparents, when their grandparents once ran the streets...time really does fly by.

Top 200 chart songs of all time, the forever legendary Marvin Gay 'What's going on! Of course I couldn't forget...some Vietnam era type stuff here. This top 200 song actually almost to serious to even bother commenting on...nothing but respect for that generation and what you all endured... Both black, white, Hispanic and all others..and Vietnam Asians on both sides who sacrificed so much.

Logical song, Super Tramp
This song tends to get over played and misused today, but originally totally a hippie underground type of song...meant for outlaws who smoked grass.
Top 200 songs ever that made the charts.

Blue Eyes...Elton John, interesting
This makes the top 200 best chart songs of all time, but prior to now, didn't realize Elton John sang this song...hmm
This song reminds me of those old Hotel lounge resturants, and they'd like pipe this song over the speakers, lounge music type stuff, while eating meal with family and young, a hobbit or mild, and it just sticks with you, and then when go to school fantasize over female classmate or mates over this song...all apart of growing up...this song makes the top 200 charts of best songs ever.

Let's go back to that time for moment. This song makes top 200 chart toppers of all times.
