The look of Love Issic Hayes
If sweet home Alabama is the Southern anthem, than this song here is kind of the old school, inner city G-Funk Anthem.
This song represents so much joy, heartbreak, back alleys, broken promises, broken dreams, temporary glory, and just real life, told all in one song.
If can't relate, than scat.

Band on the run _ the Beatles
Band on the run, by the Beatles.
I told you long ago, that as this section progressed there'd be more Beatles songs. And the Zone is never wrong.
This song rocks.
They, the Beatles were going through a phase here, in front of the world, from teeny bopper jingles, to a more abstract, anti war, hippie adult theme.
What a classic band.
Nirvana is the only thing that comes closest to matching them in modern rock era.

Easy like Sunday morning
Can't remember if this song is on this top favorite 200 songs ever, but if not, this song for sure belongs here. Steeped in memories for everyone, anyone with a heart, and probably over the age of 40, more than likely.
Back when the Commadores were at their peak, almost like the 'Black Beatle's you could say.
The best thing about Sundays is this song right here.

MJ - Lady of My Life
Michael Jackson was on top of the world, once upon a time. His musical timing, composition, was impeccable.
Not sure what happened, just not sure.
I think his artistic downfall began with the album 'I'm bad'.
I don't know, between Thriller and 'I'm bad', something happened, he was never the same after thriller.
All that aside, this song 'Lady of my life' for sure makes the top 200 pop songs ever, what a different era.
And people, older folks, will conjure up their own particular memories every time this song is heard.
And amazing how songs like this really do pass the test of time.

Ice Cube 'No haters'
This song may seem out of place here in this section, but not for me it isn't.
Song almost makes me want to tear up.

American Woman - The Guess Who This song has to make the list, it just popped into my mind, this unforgettable jingle that we've all heard so many times in different movies, skits, productions, it's so Americana heartland, back in the day. Oh how many biker parties was this song played at? I'm sure everyone will relate to this song in a slightly different way. Lenny Kravitz did a remake, but I never liked his version, it was to 'funky', to heavy of a drum beat. This is a straight up biker Outlaw type of song, it wasn't ever meant to be turned into some disco beat, ever. Anyways, this song by the 'The Guess Who', has made the top 200 list of most memorable top 40 type of songs. And this is the first time I ever learned of the bands name that actually sung this song.

Chic - Good times
Sadly, most of the people alive during this songs prime years are probably dead now, or on the way out.
That aside, the Zone remembers you, your time and your energy that you gave to the world while you mattered.
This song here, makes the Zones top 200 songs of all times that people readily remember.
Rock on, or in this case, Disco and Dance on.....
