Costumer Service
You know what, I'm getting sick and tired of companies blaming Corona for their lack of costumer service speed or time.
Whether banking or other.
What the heck does Corona have to do with simply picking up the phone while in isolation?
What a crock excuse.

M/F you're at home, working from home or isolated, what the hell does that got to do with not being able to answer phone or help costumers?
Quit blaming corona virus for your laziness.

Customer service at Xfinity sucks!
Who has half a afternoon, when off from work, to spend on hold at Xfinity!
I gave them a chance, dude never called back, so I'm done, well sort of.
I have to first quit their service, then will rejoin boost, that has a plan with them where for $45.oo a month you can get prepaid service, hell ye, why not!
Speed not as high, but so what, I'll be saving over 100 a month!!
100 a month!
That's a pay raise!
------------------------------
We'll see, I mean I like my current speed, but don't like the price, we'll see.

Taxes
H&R Block is good, but don't expect to get much of anything back when they do your taxes
H&R Block is good and honest, but don't expect to get much back if use them.
They totally go by the book, and then some, almost as if work for the Government itself.
Compared to what I've been getting back previous years, this year I got back pennies in comparison.
And they don't really 'dig', to see if you qualify for this or that deduction, again, they go straight by the book.
That's good I suppose for the Government, but if you're use to getting a lot of money back, avoid H&R block.
And that's no knock on them at all, just saying they go straight by the book.

Home Depot i tell you what, Home Depot better start paying their cashiers more money, and other associates, if they want to hire a higher quality of employee. There's not such thing as 'low skilled job', a job is a job, and working at Home Depot just as demanding as any other job, this idea that only people starting off in life work in places like that went out with the 80's. I went there tonight, and you'd of thought they had school hobbits running the place...it was so terrible I had to call back and complain. Short staffed, people running the cashiers that were clueless, it was a mess. They need to pay better for those jobs to get better more mature employees...bottom line.

Tech has made costumer service worse, not better. Every number tends to go off to some centralized phone center, instead of to local business you'll be dealing with. And if do get someone on the phone, they're usually foreign, English is their second or 3rd language, and they simply read a manual back to you.
It's just hard to find walk into the store, brick and mortor type of places anymore, unless know the area well.

The world, modern world, is a ugly place, maybe the world has always been ugle, but technology just seems to crystallize the ugliness in others, or corporations.

I just don't enjoy flying like I used to
I'd rather rent a new car and just drive now, but time doesn't always allow for that.
