Animation art
I really want to try my hand at animation art, like learning how to create short animations, a minute or less, cause even with all the advances, animation is still a long process.
But heck, I've got nothing but time to try to learn it, and now there's a few free animation downloadable programs out there, so I may give it a try.
This video here covers the best, most legit, animation software that's free, believe me you I've already spent hours searching, but this guy gives you a review of like 5 software companies, and which one you chose is based on your needs as a animator, from beginner to advance.

I bought a digital drawing pad a few weeks ago, but haven't used it yet, haven't downloaded any free animation programs yet, I should do it now, in fact it came up on my 'to do list', but a bit wore out. Not sure what I'd animate?, I can't even draw, when I try to draw humans, they look out of proportion. But maybe I should try stick figures until get the hang of it. Learning animation could be a powerful message medium, if done right.

There's ways around spending hours, or days trying to create a 1 minute animation Take the above exibot, the above took less than 20 minutes to create, if that, and just messing around with some self denagrating humor. Alien sees human and reacts. I've got many more short ideas I want to come of with now that learning this new technique. In todays social media environment you've got to get your ideas across in seconds, and doing that on YT is near impossible when google routinely now buries your video's unless they consider you a 'difference maker' which = celebrity which = someone they can earn revenue from from all the views you'll get. How do you think a video goes viral, like gets a million views in 2 days?...while other video can be on there for years and only have like 23 views after 4 years. Cause it's rigged that's why, once google took over YT it was all but over for the small 'guy/gal'... But anyways, ye, there's alternatives to creating long drawn out animations, which are fine, if getting paid to animate, but if trying to convey a quick message on spare time, and don't have months to create a 3 minute animation, than there are other ways. The above is very crude, but will get better with practice, and so will the themes.

Against violence, even when in 'still animation' I was going to make a short 'still animation' of plastic G.I. dolls fighting over the election, but when shot short clip, and looked at it, I was uncomfortable even seeing one plastic soldier shoot another plastic shoulder over some election stuff. It just made no sense with toy plastic soldiers, and would make less sense with real human soldiers. That's not me or my soldiers, but I had the same idea in mind, to create mini war using plastic soldiers, but even violence using plastic soldiers felt wrong to me.

Art just makes me so happy, it's one of the things I can do without being paid to do it, but unfortunately, when younger, didn't go to 'College' for that purpose, and as such sure I'm artful and all, but have never made a dime from it, cause have no 'connections' and all.
But I still create stuff, either using self or others, just as a way of escaping.
