Rio Grand 'Duran Duran' Rio Grand...this is just one of those songs that don't ever seem to age or be dated. The beat, the rythmn, the flow, as if space aliens gave them this song 100 years in advance. Certain songs just don't 'date', and to me this is one of them. And other such songs will follow, from all genres of music from Rock to Opera to rap to country, the 'Zone' does not discriminate when it comes to timeless music...so with that stay tuned.. Oh, Duran Duran, what a group in their hey day.

This song 'Mad World'...1820 or 2020?, another timeless classic Whether 1820 or 2020, this song, it's so spooky, and speaks to all ages of the lost, lonely and confused. This song would, could, probably even speak to 'Jesus'. I hope I don't get struck by lightening for suggesting that, but I do believe it could. More ageless songs to follow.

odd how you never really hear about teenage culture until like the 1950's, when Elvis came along..

Yes I to often wonder what it must of been like to be a teenager back in the year 200. B.C, in China. Or maybe in ancient days, by the time a teenager considered old, about to die, and already had family?...who knows. |
