I haven't really been much in a artfully creative mood as of late..and art is a mood, especially if using self in the art, it's like acting, and you have to kind of step outside of your normal range of self...the way a actor will step into a different character. These moods for me usually come in 'seasons', in that I'll be in the mood to get silly with self for a few months, it becomes addicting for a while seeing how many ways you can reinvent self on digital canvass, but then it wears thin after a while, until the urge to do so comes back. It can't really be forced. I do notice that I'm generally in a better mood usually, when taking silly pictures or video of self, not sure why, but I usually am. I need to look at some of the dates and see what I was going through when certain 'art' shared on here, and figure out what was making me more happy then. Although now, I often share pics, or turn pics into gifs, that were taking of me over a decade ago. Or sometimes I'll blend two separate images and combine into one scene.  Like this one here..a few weeks ago I did come upon this remote cabin in the woods, and decided to use it in some footage. Actually that cabin, at the edge of the dried out marsh, is located in Ocala, FL...a place I did indeed visit a few weeks ago. |

Theater is one of the best ways I know to relax  Theater can come in many different forms, even day dreaming is a type of theater. Theater is the ability to escape and or imagine scenerios that currently aren't physically living. And or even imagining self as being a different person or character or even animal or creature or alien. Theater is therapy, some are good at creating theater, others are good at going to the movies and watching it, or listening to music, cause music is also a form of theater. Me, I like to create theater in many different forms, mainly in portrait art and as of the past few years, podcasting shows that take people on fun journeys, like old time radio did...with sound effects and all. Like in the 60's and back, radio was basically the 'Television', people gathered around the radio to be entertained before the TV became popular. I think theater allows for the exercise of other parts of our minds that every day society just won't allow, unless of course lucky enough to work in the performing arts or any number of other industries where get paid to be creative.

I felt like a celebrity these last few days
Obviously I'm not celebrity, but just being off from my 'day job', for the last 5 days has just given me a new sense of happiness.
I'm happy, cause just allowed to create stuff, create art, create theater, and express self = freedom.
And now suddenly tomorrow, when go back to work, it all ends.
All it takes is one long dull mundane shift of being reduced to nothing but labor, to kind of wipe clean all the good feelings I've built up inside over the last 5 days.
That's why it's so important to be able to generate income doing what you love, rather than what you dread.
It's not that I have the worst job in the world, it's just I'm at the age where I get no more satisfaction from just showing up to a job that doesn't offer me any kind of a creative outlet. A job where others, who haven't even done it for as long as I have, (admin), want to lecture you about 'safety', or some other kindergarden level BS.
But hey, like most, I need the check, so I show up, until something more grand presents itself, or until able to earn income passively by doing something I love, which is really entertainment.

I captured a dizzy sissy sneaking around in my attic, and then after tackled them, and sat them down, they wanted me to take them to dinner  No, I'm not taking you to dinner, you dizzy sissy, if anything I should punish you by tickling your feet until you confess to stealing my wallet and beer.
